Hoshi reached up and snatched the headband out of the air, a smile appearing on her face. "You won't regret it sister. I promise! I will do my best to become the strongest shinobi that I can be!" Hoshi would nod, before looking around slightly. She wasn't quite sure of where she would go however she was extremely dedicated and knew she had to start training as soon as possible. "Umm... I'm not sure where the academy is. I know I want to work with puppets though..."
"Then, my cousin, I'll ask that I be allowed to make the same chance in the name of Kin." Another soft voice prodded as the doorknob rattled.
As the door pushed open another Hatake stood in the frame, his hands reaching up to his forehead and surely removing a Konohagakure headband he had worn throughout his months spent among Sunagakure, the last reminder of the land he once called home. The last reminder of the land where his mother was not even allowed to be set to rest, where only her ashes were scattered after she was denied a proper burial. The shinobi standing before them stood at six foot and his somber verdant eyes, muted with tones of silver, danced among the three beings in the room, finally settling on Ayame.
"San had shown me a great deal in my first days here, and then my months spend amongst the Shinobi of the Sands have only bolstered my choice to remain here. There is nothing for me in the Land of Leaves. I was betrayed by the actions of two separate Hokage, turned back on by several of my own 'kinsmen' of the Shadow, yet here I see no such disparage without it being earned. I see a people with great potential, and most of all..." He would continue as he walked to her desk.
As his long legs carried him to the precipice of the desk he slammed the leaf band down on the table, no malice or threat to her in his actions, but instead a bow and a sigh of relief.
"Here I have kin, true living kin." The Hatake finished, closing his eyes and bowing slightly as he awaited Ayame's verdict on his soul.

Hoshi looked over her shoulder when she heard a voice behind her. It seemed that another Hatake was in this village she was unaware of. However, it seemed that he was coming from Konohagakure which was strange since she figured the man would have knowledge that Konohagakure and Sunagakure were more or less allies, so why go to a village that could easily turn over your corpse to your native village for their own gain? These thoughts all ran through Hoshi's mind as she changed her attention back to her sister. "Thank you sister. I will be there if you need me." She would say before turning nodding at the other Hatake and leaving the room to make her way to the academy.
Ayame nodded to her sister then looked at Masahiro. "I see no issues in such Masahiro;however, we are in an alliance with Konoha until the UHV is defeated. Suna will remain neutral afterwards. Do not cause any issues, I am trusting you." She said digging out another headband.
"The only request I'd then ask of you, Kazekage, is that I be allowed to serve in your ANBU until such a time is reached, as there is no better way to keep the peace between ourselves and Konohagakure than to let my face no longer be seen. Or if it would please you, I will simply don a mask until such a time has come. I feel either way, your knowledge and longevity as Kage would lend better credence of choice than my own decision." The jounin replied as he set his hand on the band of the new insignia.
His silvered green eyes waited a moment for her response, but his body was tense. The last thing he would wish to cause now is a fallout between nations in such a time of war, when alliances were crucial. Adjusting his stance he took the headband and brought it to his head, fitting it properly before tightening it down and looking beyond Ayame to her window. The world was changing and he felt now he had only made the right decisions. Still, only further time would tell.
"I should give you time to weigh on the proposed idea, sorry for being so insistent, cousin." The Hatake said in his somber voice as he bowed slightly to the Kazekage.
Returning to his stand he would turn from her and make his way to the door, waving good-bye to her with one hand. He would make his way to train, to better himself for the time being.
Ayame and Daichi bolted in the direction of the academy as soon as an ANBU reported in to her what was going on at the gates.

On the far side of the Village, the most distant point from the Crevice, the Kazekage's Office started to shake ever so slightly. A powerful hum had started to occupy the airspace above the sand wall covering the Village. Given the emergency evacuations that most people were doing, it was not very likely that anyone aside from a select few individuals would notice this occurrence.

The powerful hum resonated throughout the building, jarring Two and Three from their cooking and 'other' cooking. Two's pots and pans banged ever so slightly back and forth, while Three's chemical experiment melted from the unexpected jarring. Shaking his head, Two dried his hands before heading across the hall into the kage's office. Three arrived shortly thereafter, joining the cook at the windowsill. The sky was dark, but that didn't stop the overlooking window garden from displaying the resident jofuku's brilliant colors. Any rougher jostling and they'd awaken, which would be the worst outcome for most folks. Two lifted the pot containing said plant, transferring it over to the kage's desk. Rejoining Three at the open window, both went to full alert mode, summoning a golem and activating a single support jutsu.

The boom of a loudspeaker came from out of the sky, loud enough to shake the glass in the windows. Something enormous was definitely up there. Clearly visible from the Office windows was the destruction raining down across the Village at places such as the Tea Shoppe and the Library, but the sand over the Office remained unbroken. Two and Three would never get any rest if this kept up, and soufflés were out of the question until all this noise died down!

Soufflés were on tomorrow's menu, which was good considering the amount of noise that was being created. With Sage mode activated, the green natural energy that floated about enabled the two men to visualize the surroundings without being able to see through the blindfolds. Golems were inbound for several of the burning locales, and great amounts of chakra were being thrown about over by the village entrance. Overhead, an exceedingly large something lurked, wiping out the chakra around it, to produce a large black blot in the visuals. "We're going to need more firepower," Three commented. Two nodded, bouncing out the window to the roof tops on one side of the office, while Three went to the opposite side.

The golems were able to extinguish some of the fires quite handily, leaving only the library and the Eternal Rain Forest on fire, though the former's condition was improving as the seconds went by. A sound of arcing electricity buzzed overhead in the sensory dark spot. Outside the gates, a similar dark spot would appear, signaling that maybe the folks out there were having a rough time.

Three arrived at a flat, protected spot on his side of the roof as Two arrived at his own. As Three drew out some wire, one of the baubles in his jacket shuddered, seized, and then shrieked out in bloody murder. The Golem of the Desert Itself had received a rather nasty wake-up call, and within the enclosed bauble, a set of terribly sad puppy dog-like eyes sniffled up at him. "The battle outside has done something bad towards you, hasn't it," the scientist asked the now humanoid shaped figure within the glass. Sitting there all sullen, it shook its head in an up and down motion, indicating a 'yes, it has'. "Then you are hereby allowed to neutralize what has caused the disturbance, before going back to bed." Receiving its orders, the sand in the bauble calmed and returned back to a shapeless pile.
Depositing the bauble back into his coat, Three continued to weave a cat's cradle, charging it with chakra. Soon, he would unleash it, whenever the barriers above faulted again. Whatever was up there was not going to go quietly, he assumed. Over on Two's side, the cook was gathering strength, glowing brighter and brighter with every new second that was passed. The blue lines that streaked across his outer form drained energy from the very air, charging his next jutsu. Producing several handsigns, he would time his technique to follow that of Three's. If Ibara were to follow Complexity and his riding of a Hoatzin, he would end up at an intersection which allowed for an unobstructed view of both Mamorus at once. His gut feeling would then be telling him that those two on the roof, and the entities that he may have followed here, were going to need him.

The remaining fires would be quenched, the only question remaining being "Was anything significant damaged?" This investigation would have to occur some other time, though: the Gates seemed to be in trouble. Even all the way back here, the voice of an unknown woman would resound. Then, the moment Mamoru had been waiting for came: Bast's barriers shattered completely.

XXXXX Ibara groaned as h walked through the painful glare of the afternoon sun taking relief in the shade of a rather large building he stopped looking up at the building. He noticed something very peculiar. Something was looming over the building sucking massive amounts of chakra from everything around it. Much like a black hole would suck everything, including light from around it. Ibara sighed, he had an idea he knew what this massive thing was but this was unlike anything he had seen before. Could the UHV possibly have constructed something this appalling? Unfortunately, yes. They would and could create something like this. Ibara hurried into the building toward the roof where he saw what looked like the one who had helped him merge his bloodlines standing on.
XXXXX Standing on the roof Ibara approached the pair of men, which appeared to be clones of the same person. He stood a few feet back from them looking up into the air. The ship was massive when you got closer, you realized this. Ibara looked down from the ship and spoke to the two standing before him. "We should do something about that." He cracked a smile despite the pounding headache he was suffering.
