Finished with the preparations (and assuming Jond will not be posting), the two Miyamotos Korabo'd their techniques together as they fired. Ibara, sensing the need to use jutsu, formed handsigns for the Lightweight technique and added it to the Senjutsu'd mix. In all total, a combination of piercing annihilation, electrical draining sand, and an added lightweight sent many more ranks of jutsu than were normally seen in this day and age, by several folds. If the blank spot up in the air was going to be taken down, Mamoru hoped that this would do it.
San was chill in in the kage office warming his favorite spot on the couch. He had been observing the battles from afar. While it was important for the village to be defended, the kage and previous kage had it all under control. Theodin opened the door to the kage’s office and stepped inside, he was still majorly angry with his mom for her faking death stunt, and figured she probably knew it; but held back his angry outburst until the official business was done. Looking around the office he spotted San sitting on the couch and noticed the bandage on Ayame’s hand. He chuckled internally, figuring Daichi probably bit her as payback, as he stepped out of range of the swinging door and leaned against the wall, waiting for the others to arrive. He was tired and wanted to get this over with quickly so he could go rest for a bit.

Appearing in the office behind the Kazekages desk he took his normal place. No words punctuated his arrival merely him taking his place. Once he was in his place he bowed at the waist though did not speak. I really have no idea what I am doing with this post. He wondered why she had allowed them to leave so easily. He would have interrogated them and at least gained information of true military value. Though she was the kazekage not him and so as always he would follow her orders to the letter regardless of how he felt.

Theo pushed himself off the wall, “Alright, I was gonna wait until official business was done, but here goes. Honestly mom, I don’t know whether I want to hug you or hit you right now, considering not long ago I thought you were dead and now here you are; though I’m guessing from that bandage on your arm, Daichi had something similar to say before I got here.” After a few seconds, Theo took a deep breath, calming himself down a bit, “I know you’re the kage, and I’m just a jounin, and as one of your subordinates I’m sure you had a plan or reason for it. But as your son.. to watch you apparently get ripped apart by a Bijuu-ball…only to find that you were fine all along…I can’t help but feel a little betrayed, even if it is somewhat unreasonable” Theo then took another breath and went back to his position leaning against the wall, arms folded across his chest.

James biosense was quite the unusual but handy tool, proving to be more and more useful the more San began to understand the world. In both participants of the room, San could chemically see stress, frustration, even a bit of anger and almost rage. But who wouldn't? Suna had just been attacked and they had gotten a chance to leave with their lives...a gesture few had ever been shown. As such, San could understand their emotions. However, he felt a certain bit of pride for Ayame. She was starting to understand the bigger picture, how to confront 10,000 men without ever drawing a sword. In san's eyes, Bast may have made the vest choice in decades.
However, her weakness was her strength. Her closeness with the other ninja bred the ability for her to have to explain herself. She was, in a sense, too close to the others. To come to her aid, San sighed, seemed to be the best course if action. San was much more removed from the others.
"Calm your frustration, bone bender. It clouds your sight and heavies your mind, prohibiting your ability to see that which cannot be seen with the eye. Ayame letting them go didn't save them their lives, far from it: it transformed them into weapons to the proper mind. The UHV is built and strengthened by the many people and nations that have chosen to join them, believing in a greater cause. What if this cause is a lie, or a half hearted promise? The very strength the UHV relies on can be their own undoing when poked and pushed properly. Your a jounin I presume? You have learned how to fight numerous men and be victorious. To reach the higher levels, you must learn to engage thousands. To reach sannin, it is 10,000. But the kage...the have must be capabke if defeating 10,000 without a single loss of life...and without ever drawing a sword. Do your vest to be mindful of this. Their are forces at play that you..." San smirked and looked at ayame, "...or the kage are aware if."
San took a stand and approached the kage, poking her in the forehead. Walking quite confidently, the sennin left the room.

The sounds of the collapsing UHV vessels in the skies and a bright flash of white light would herald his arrival. Thunder crashed as the energies normalized themselves and the white-lightning tiger landed atop the office building of the Kazekage. From it appeared a somewhat worn Masahiro Hatake, kneeling as the trace scents of ozone wafted away from where he had moments before been a bolt of lightning. He shifted his view in the direction of the crashing carriers and watched as the two massive structures turned through each other and spiraled to the ground. His effort had been bolstered by the actions of allied jutsu attacking the ship he had thrown his into. A smile crossed the man's face. Coming to stand he made his way across the roof of the building to the upper entrance of the Kage's offices before finally entering and making his way down to her suites.
Hearing the voices of other villagers within, particularly two Jounin and a well-known Sannin, Masahiro pushed the door to his cousin's office open and entered. His eyes shifted among the crowd, falling first on Nariomi, Theodin, Sanshi, then ultimately the Kazekage herself, giving each one of them a nod before he shut the door behind himself.
"My actions, in conjunction with a barrage of allied jutsu have caused the enemy massive casualties beyond what transpired on ground level. Two enemy carriers have been taken out of the skies. The desert is going to be rich in scrap metal, as well as awash with corpses." The Hatake spoke, bowing to the Kazekage as he did so.
He then looked to Theodin, having heard his feelings on the matter of Ayame's actions and apparent death, then sudden reappearance. He set his hand on the boy's shoulder and shook his head for a moment. He turned to meet the boy's eyes with his own and spoke.
"Theodin, we are Hatake. We do not betray our own, and we must never feel as if we were betrayed by our own kin. Much less to feel betrayed by your own mother. Take to rest your mind, and know she still lives. That is all we can take from this." He said softly, his cold voice holding a warm note, like the fading summer breezes into October, before the long cold.
"Ayame, there is a pattern to these vultures. The Kyuubi arrives in Konohagakure, it is subdued but not sealed into a host. The UHV appears and frees the beast again, only for it to once more be sealed. Then here, Chomei appears and not but moments after such our adversaries arrive. In Thirty years, I've never seen such blatant coincidence as this. The villages are being targeted for the beasts that reside near them." Masahiro recollected, his eyes narrowing as he spoke.
"That child I sealed the beast into, we need to find where he is now. The Seal I've used on him will allow him to speak with the Nanabi, we need information the bijuu may have about how they're finding them."

Doc slowly walked in. He didn't really want anyone to notice him, but he was sure that at least one person would. He hid in a corner so that he could stay out of the way since he didn't have much information to share. He only had what he heard Ayame and the UHV talk about. Doc didn't have much of an opinion, but he would chime in if questioned.

Kaori and Nova walked into Ayame's office and over to Theodin, the only one in the room that they had any real connection with, they were friends and colleagues, so she felt the most comfortable being near the taller shinobi. She came in on the tale end of the male Hatake's speech. He didn't even know where her brother was? That made a small growl erupt from her throat, but she bit it off quickly as she dug her claws into one of the places a snbon had gotten her to ground herself, she knew he wasn't meaning that the way it sounded, that he was actually concerned for Kohaku, but she was still angry at the lack of a kill, and that just made her more upset. She shared a look with Nova and Nova curled up at Kaori's feet, ready to put her two cents in if asked, but Kaori was always harping on her to learn patience and manners.
Kaori kind of looked at Theodin, then shook her head. The white haired tamer-nin had plenty of opinions at the moment about the battle, but she would keep them to herself, there was a reason Ayame was the Kage and she wasn't after all. She was merely the newest hunter-nin at this point. She was the weapon, and would behave as such until she was asked to speak.

Seeing the door open the now graduated student walked into the Kazekage's office. Halfway in the doorway, however, the student tripped over her own feet and fell to the floor with a crash. Dusting herself off, she got up and bowed to everyone in the room before turning to Ayame. "U-um......I was told to come here to get my headband....." The girl looked nervous, like she thought she didn't belong here. "My name is Hikari, I just graduated from the academy. Nice to meet you." Hikari gave a low bow to show her reverence to the Kazekage, then looked around the room anxiously. "A-am I interupting something?"

There's a beast in every man and it stirs when you put a sword in his hand.
Chaos isn’t a pit. Chaos is a ladder. Many who try to climb it fail and never get to try again. The fall breaks them. And some are given a chance to climb, they cling to the realm or the gods or love. Only the ladder is real. The climb is all there is.
Knives made his way to the office later than the others. It wasn't unusual for him to do this. He waited for the others after overhearing Ayame getting mad at Daichi for something or other. He saw Kaori and tried to keep his mind clear, after all that had happened he could have been so happy to get some alone time with her after the fighting and defense of the village.
