Mason helped her back up to her seat, "Don't worry about it," he said smiling. He placed an arm behind her to catch her if she swayed. "I'll catch you if you fall. One way or another." He smiled and faced forward looking at the ocean.

Roseaki blushed again and looked at him,smiling "you know, you're not like other guys i've met before" she said "you're different, in a good way".

Mason smiled at her comment, "Well I try to be different, although it's not really that hard to try." He leaned back to change his posture, his arms holding him up. "You are not like other women... you too are different." He smiled at her moving closer to take precautions.

He gazed at the setting sun, "It sure is. It mirrors that of you." The light bending creating the vast amount of colors reflecting off the water. It looked like a painting was placed in front of them. At the foot of the lighthouse on the path Mason recognized the spirit known to him as The Messenger. There was only one reason for that... a soul was needed to be reaped. He put it off until he his time with Roseaki was finished. He enjoyed spending time with her.

whatevers *dives into the water and swims to the bottom, then swims a long the bottom to a mini island, then sits on the sand and watches the sunset in peace and quite* much better...

Mason looked at her, "You are one of the first beings I have truly spoken to in a long time." He told the truth... partly. He had spoken to others, but when he did they were usually one of his marks. "Therefore yes I do like you. Feel free to speak your mind. I can not read it... one of the things I can't do with my mind," he said smiling at her.

Mason chuckled, "Well you are special. You are unique in your own way... don't change for anyone... or don't let others force you to change." He remembered his parents and pulled out the silver chain with the jade orb. "Never..."

Mason played around with the orb before tucking it back under his shirt. "My parents... they were... afraid. They wanted me to change and so they forced me to stay in my room all day long... but they can't do anything anymore..."

"It's not your fault. They just didn't know how to handle someone like me." He smiled, "But the past is the past. One must not dwell on such things." He stood up and looked out to the sunset as it was beginning to fade.

Mason grabbed her hand and softly placed her on the ground. "Thank you for the wonderful time you have given me. I hope everything goes well with your friends." He saw The Messenger again. "I'm sorry, I would stay longer but I have some business to attend to." He pulled up her hand and kissed it, "Farewell." He turned around and headed for the courtyard.
