The oni was a little perturbed. There was such chaos going on down below. It was downright shameful what they were doing. Not at all pleased with the situation, how it had all turned into a battlefield, Kinpaku was tempted ever so much to strike, but she knew better. She had much to learn. Beginning with Shikon Hoppeta Kasei.

Mulling over the demands, she read softly to herself. First she had to hold chakra in place, and let it spread with the exhale of her breath. A very strange practice, but it was enough for her to deal with for the time being.

Primarily, Kinpaku inhaled deeply. With it, the woman strove to gather chakra up together. It was like trying to stay submerged beneath water, the way she gathered it up, and it was truly something she understood now.

The lady attempted to exhale, but there seemed to be a drawback. There was no actual spread of chakra like she had read there would be. Had she done something wrong? Unknowing of any possibility in the failure, she sighed.

Now the Oni inhaled yet again. This time, chakra pooled rather neatly into her chest, bound tighter and tighter. She yearned to let it go. Moments passed, and she exhaled. The pulse of chakra pulled at her tighter, as she grew. Towering, she knew she had achieved.

[Shikon Hoppeta Kasei Learned]

While she was going on, the Oni figured learning might as well continue. Skimming through yet another scroll, she noted the next technique on her list. Merutodaun no Tenou was next on the list.

Much akin to the alcoholic that meant she was just building upon prior skills for the time being. That sounded utterly enjoyable. Building on basics was a boring task, but it had to be done.

First, she led off with performing the alcoholic gloves technique. Letting it shift about her hand, it was easy enough to perform this particular step. She tried to keep the chakra neutral, for anything else would be a waste for the moment.

Now it came down to some interesting stuff. Letting herself will the chakra in the sake to wind itself up her arm. It was an easy enough, as it was so similar. Simple enough, her arm was encased.

Now came the last bit. Letting the chakra flow, altering it ever so slightly. It was charged rather quickly, sparking freely with the raiton chakra which inhabited it.

Aiko saw the attack from the floor. She responded by forming herself onto the ceiling, and hundreds of spines flew down at the opponents from the ceiling. Her attack filled in any gaps in Matt's attack. Between the two of them, the attack seemed to form a giant mouth, with teeth of bone coming from the floor, and teeth of water from the ceiling. The 5 pills from before were positioned within the spikes.

Meanwhile The other ninja's would find their chakra being slowly poisoned, becoming harder to work with because of the poison she manufactured in their lungs.

Sakaki spotted the prefect chance to strike. He began to dash in between the spikes. When he arrived in front of the group of ninjas he threw a hail of kunai and shuriken, a few of them with exploding tags on them, at the ninjas on either side of the center most ninja. After throwing the kunai and shuriken he dashed at the ninja in the center and threw a hay maker with his flame covered fists.

Cloud Hari

Cloud watched the guitar genin from before walk in and challenge the chunin. With him there Cloud figured Alex could handle himself. Reaching into his backpack Cloud pulled out an old dusty book. It was very thin and had an aged shine to it. It was one of the books that contained the Hari clans techniques and jutsu's, it's pages were all made up of old scrolls. There were bookmarks in it from where Cloud had marked the pages with the jutsu's in wanted to learn. He flipped open the book to one of the bookmarks and began studying the page. He left the others and went to a quieter place to train.

Garasu Bunshin (Glass Clone)

Cloud had found a quieter place, somewhere on the second floor of the academy. Going there he had passed another person training. She was busy in her training so he just walked on. After finally coming to a place that he could train at in privacy he re-opened his book and began to study it once-more. " Create a clone with glass, seems easy enough. Although I've never used the glass technique before. " Cloud started to focus his chakra. After he had focused he made the necessary hand seals for the new jutsu and said " Garasu Bunshin ".

Glass started to form from Clouds body. This glass then started to take a physical form.

The Glass had slowly taken the form of Cloud perfectly. Next the glass started to gain color, detaching itself from Cloud.

The glass clone had gained it's color and now looked exactly like Cloud. The clone tried to looked at Cloud. When it did the clone started to dissolve, it dissolved until it was nothing. " I must have messed up somewhere, still it was easier than I thought it would be. " Cloud made the hand seals again, saying " Garasu Bunshin ".

Th glass clone formed just like it did last time, but quicker and with more ease. The clone then started to move, stretching its artificial body. Cloud studied his glass clone. " Looks like I did it."

Cloud did not know how to dispose of the clone properly, it was made to shatter into glass shards to cut enemies. Before when it dissolved that was just an accident. Focusing on making the clone disappear, Cloud learned that doing something as that was simple. The clone just dissolved into nothing when cloud absorbed his chakra from it. " That's one down ".

Garasu Shouheki no Jutsu (Glass Barrier Technique)

Cloud had already decided what he wanted to learn next, so he didn't need to waste time looking. " Garasu Shouheki no Jutsu will become really handy in battle. It is necessary that I learn it. " Making the hand seals Cloud said " Garasu Shouheki no Jutsu ".

Cloud then touched the ground in front of him with his hand, palm down. A wall of glass started to form from the floor.

Once the wall had stopped forming it stood much taller and wider than Cloud. It wasn't extremely big but it was a decent size. Cloud liked this, he also liked the fact that he could see through it.

Cloud wanted to test it's strength completely, it was suppose to be shatter proof so Cloud shouldn't be able to destroy it. Unsheathing his sword, Cloud held the glass blade b both hands increasing his swing power. He got into a stance that allowed him to gain maximum swinging strength. He brought his sword back and swung with fast and deadly power. The sword collided with the wall, completely destroying it. The wall's shattered glass made a loud noise as it hit the ground. Cloud looked over the mess, " That wall had a good resistance for my first time performing the jutsu."

Cloud made the hand seals again, saying " Garasu Shouheki no Jutsu. " Cloud put his hand to the ground, palm down and watched as the glass wall grew in front of him. While the wall grew the shattered glass covering the floor disappeared. Cloud got back into his stance and swung his sword just as he did last time. When the sword collided with the wall, nothing happened except for the noise from the collision. Cloud repeated the swing three more times, ending with the same results. Satisfied with the wall Cloud undid the jutsu.

Garasu Shuriken (Glass Shuriken)

Cloud sheathed his sword and prepared for the next set of hand seals. He made the hand seals needed for the next jutsu. He then said " Garasu Shuriken. "

A glass shuriken formed in his left hand and a glass kunai in his right. To test their strength Cloud held his arms out to his sides and rushed them together, slamming the two glass tools in his hands together. They shattered instantly into tin glass shards.

Cloud re-performed the jutsu. He did the same thing to thing to test their strength. They shattered again, but this time there was still some of the tool left.

Cloud did the same thing but this time the two tools, when slammed into each other, fell from clouds hands. They were cracked from the collision and did not shatter until they hit the ground.

When Cloud did the performance again the tools neither cracked nor shattered. This jutsu would allow him to use much stronger tools that could withstand much more pressure. " Perfect "

Garasu Yoroi no Jutsu(Glass Armor Technique)

Before Cloud could even think of trying the next set of hand seals, he had to sit down and rest. He had to do this for a couple of reasons. One, his hands were bloody and sore from his last jutsu's training. Second, he wasn't used to using this much chakra at once. Third, he had to check on what jutsu's he was going to learn next. When he was finished he realized that the amount of chakra he would have after these next few sets of jutsu's would be close to the danger zone. He could fight and train until his chakra was nearly depleted due to his high amount of stamina. The downfall of this was he could easily push his body beyond it's limits. For today though, the consequences for going that far could be even worse since he wasn't used to using this much chakra. " Well it's not as if I'm going to be out of chakra, so I won't die but still it's going to risky. Well there will be more dangerous things up ahead. "

Cloud stood up and made the necessary hand seals. He said " Garasu Yoroi no Jutsu. "

A layer of glass armor formed around Cloud's chest. It was heavy and dense, carrying a green tint to it. This jutsu was a bit complicated to perform, so Cloud was going to break it down to learn it.

Cloud re-performed the jutsu. Then a layer of glass formed around his legs.

He re-performed the jutsu again. This time a layer of glass formed around his feet.

After re-performing the jutsu again a layer of glass formed around his hands. The glass armor was heavy and would reduce his speed at making hand seals.

Indeed Clouds speed to make hand seals was reduced, but he could still make them at the speed of the regular ninja of his rank. Again, he re-performed the jutsu thus completing it with the final layer of glass forming around his head.

After undoing the jutsu the armor dissolved into the air. This armor was heavy, which would slow down his speed to that of the regular ninja of his rank, but it was dense, greatly increasing his defense. It was a useful jutsu, but Cloud had to be able to create the glass armor all at once. For the last time he made the required hand seals and again he said " Garasu Yoroi no Jutsu. " The glass armor formed around Cloud all at once. Checking to make sure he had gotten everything, which he did, Cloud undid the jutsu. He was already starting to feel the pull of exhaustion.

Garasu Ni-Doru no Jutsu (Glass Needles Technique)

It was time for Cloud to learn a true offensive move so after making the jutsu's hand seals he said " Garasu Ni-Doru no Jutsu. "

Cloud put his hand on the floor in front of him. Tiny glass needles formed about a yard in front of him. They were small, thin, and could be broken from being stepped on. This made them useless.

Cloud re-performed the jutsu. This time they went out 3 yards. The needles were still thin, but Cloud could tell they wouldn't be easily broken.

He re-performed the jutsu again with similar results. The needles went out longer and got taller.

After re-performing the jutsu again Cloud had his true improvement. The needles went 10 yards and were long-enough to become useful.

When Cloud re-performed the jutsu again the needles went 15 yards and were even longer then before.

By the time Cloud performed the jutsu for his last time he was able to get the needles to go 20 yards and they were long enough to immobilize an opponent for the rest of a fight or kill then if they fell or were on the ground. It was here that Cloud felt the real pull of exhaustion. He more than once had to sit down to regain his breath, not too long from now he would still be fighting at top performance with this amount of chakra left. But this was his first day of using high-amounts of chakra at once and the toll was great. He knew he should have stopped but he also knew he could survive one more jutsu.

Garasu Subeta no Jutsu (Glass Sword Technique)

Clouds movements were starting to get sluggish and his speed was decreasing but he was still moving at a productive pace. He made the last set of hand seals and said " Garasu Subeta no Jutsu. "

A short thin sword formed in Clouds right hand. It's weight was off and it wasn't sharp enough nor durable enough to use. Just like the other jutsu's, Cloud knew this wasn't the jutsu's real product. The sword dissolved into air as Cloud undid the jutsu.

He re-performed the jutsu and had the same results. He was having trouble concentrating due to his exhaustion.

Cloud was tired but he realized he was also slacking of. He picked up his head and began to concentrate on the jutsu. He made the hand seals needed and said " Garasu Subeta no Jutsu ".

Cloud had made a real improvement this time. The sword had completely formed to the length and shape Cloud wanted. The weight was off and the blade still wasn't sharp enough but he knew he almost had it down.

Cloud re-performed the jutsu and got the same results except for he had gotten the blade sharpened to his liking.

When Cloud re-performed the jutsu for the last time he had perfected the blade. He quickly undid the jutsu and fell to his knee's.

Cloud started coughing extremely and kept coughing continuously. He somewhat pushed himself up but he stumbled and collapsed towards the wall, he was able to guard his face from slamming into it. He pushed himself over so his back was against the wall. He was coughing deeply the entire time. His body hurt all over, the pain hurt more than it normally would. The world spun around him, light fading in and out, he even had an extreme headache. Sometime during his painful, drunken, drowsy state he fell unconscious.

Alex stood there shakily trying to peer through the smoke. he leaned against the wall and watch carefully. some time while he was watching he fell out like a light.

As the explosives around him wnet off, there would be smoke and a few bangs, but amidst it all Kay had taken much of the damage with a grain of salt. "That it?" He asked. MOst of the bombs near him had been rendered useless by the tsuuga, and the resulting impact would have pushed them far enough away from him anyway. "Well, you look like you need more work, so get on with your training kiddo." With that he turned, Akatsuchi barking at Kay, who shrugged. She wanted training.

alex stood stretching his body and checking himself over. he had no wounds and felt fit as a fittle. looking around he yawned and went up stairs to find Cloud. once he found him Alex nudged him with his foot waking him with respect instead of a stab wound.

Cloud woke to find Alex standing over him. He had a minor headache and felt drowsy. " The pain seems to have gone away at least. " Cloud pushed himself up and looked at Alex. He had woken him, but not with a sword in the back. Looking out one of the windows Cloud asked " Do you want to go get something to eat, I'm hungry. "

" Yes, someday. " Cloud meant it as a joke but his voice came out fully serious. He had forgotten how to tell a joke a long time ago. He then took a couple of steps past Alex when he stopped and looked at him " Where to? "

Alex let his comment go. he thought if the day came when he tried it again then he would fail."ramen sounds good lets go. Alex turned and walked out of the dojo trusting that Cloud would follow.
