The caravan filed into the trading area, splitting up and hitting various shops. The "suspicious" trader headed for a shop specializing in various trinkets and knick-knacks, and purchased several dozen. After a varying few purchases in other shops, he yawned and headed for one of the various guest hotels that lined the streets. Purchasing a room, he entered and lay on the bed, seemingly falling quietly asleep, his bags of knick-knacks lying to one side.

The innocent trader's eyes shot open. Looking down at his arm, a single black band was on it, which pulsed and a small section in the middle faded. Getting up, the trader opened the window, then walked over to the closet and stepped inside, where he shed the cloak, pricked his thumb, and wiped it on the hole on the band. It glowed once and faded. Performing a complex serious of handseals, he faded from view and disappeared, undetectable to anything except the Sharingan and the Byakugan. The closet door swung open, and a brief woosh of wind was all that was heard as he made his way out, his soft-soled shoes muffling almost any sound of his activities. As long as he avoided Dojutsu, he would be fine.

 ~ Suzume Kinjo ~ Kumogakure ~ Chuunin ~ Bukijutsu ~
Chakra Pool: 250 ~ AC: 6050 ~ Ryo: 0 Today in the shopping district of Kumo, the day was just like any normal day. People were out this fine afternoon shopping, conversing with friends and family. Although really it was not the best of days for Suzume. It seemed that she had reached a block in her training. That did not mean that she had plateaued, the red head refused to think like that. It just... did not seem as easy as it had been before. Training should not have been easy but maybe she should wait until she went up to the next level. As a chuunin there was only so much she could learn right now, maybe she was already ready for the next level?
The female sighed, hands in her pockets as she and her dog walked down the street. This nice day was just far too humdrum for her liking. Maybe she just needed something exciting to brighten up her day. "Cheer up Suzu... you'll get through this block." Instead of receiving a verbal answer, Suzume merely reached down and rubbed his head. With Cloud talking now it was nice to have some company at home. Especially since she was so out of it she could not find fellow Cloud members that she liked talking to. No M., no Sypher, no Doko.
She did not notice it at first since she was off in her thoughts. Yet as she walked down the street and got closer to a gathering crowd, she heard the sound of frantic murmuring. Wondering what it was, she soon got her answer from Cloud "Blood... someone's dead, Suzu." Gaze hardening, becoming serious, the red head pushed her way through the crowd so she could see the scene better. A man had been tossed through the window of his store. Only he was lodged about halfway through and was gutted on the jagged class. "Damn this is nasty."
Right now she had no idea what happened but she knew basics. One, secure the crime scene, two, track down and drag back the guy that did this. Forming the necessary seals, she created four basic clones that would stand guard and preserve the crime scene. "Everyone stay back! I'm a chuunin and I'm going to deal with this! Cloud, see if you can't pick up any fresh scents." Nodding, walking inside he sniffed around for the freshest scents and picked up something that seemed about right. A scent mixed with blood that was heading out the back into the alleyway.
"This way Suzu!" he said, rushing out through the back with the chuunin in tow. The scent was still fresh and there seemed to be drops of blood this way and that. They soon left the back alleys into a public restroom. Not caring that she was heading into the men's room, Suzume and Cloud rushed in and caught a guy washing blood off his hands. "Don't move!" Eyes wide, the man instead scowled and drew out a large knife and tried striking her in a downward stabbing motion. Suzume easily moved to the side before delivering a side kick to his stomach. With just enough force to send him flying back into the wall and drop the knife. "You're coming back with me and you're going to answer some questions."~Cloud ~ Male Puppy German Shepherd ~ Ninja Dog in training ~ "There are no limits. Only plateaus, and one must not stay there, you must go beyond them.”

Chakra Pool: 250 ~ AC: 6050 ~ Ryo: 0 After Cloud got her some rope, she tied the man up and dragged him back to the shop. It would just be so easy to beat the information out of him... probably. Yet that would not fall in line with justice, due process of law, and all that crap. Sure he still had blood on him and that would be enough to convict. There had to be a why though. Why he killed the shop owner over whatever the reason was. Suzume was not sure if she was smart enough to figure it out but she would try before the Anbu got there. Well, they were probably already there but she wanted to still give it a shot in figuring things out. If she was going to prove she could be a jounin then she had to show she was smart, right?
Finally making it back to the shop, she left him off to the side while looking around the rest of the shop. Since he was awake by now, perhaps it was time to put the pieces together. "Okay, you don't have to say anything, I'll probably figure it out. Let's get the obvious out of the way, obviously there was some kind of argument, I'm thinking maybe you stabbed him and managed to push him hard enough he fell hard enough into the window. You must of been really pissed off." The man didn't say anything but she was sure Cloud would be able to sense his moods. Plus she was already getting a feeling that this guy was nervous as she talked.
Looking around, she noticed that things were knocked around here and there. It seemed to be some sort of book store, shame since it seemed like a really good one. Suzume spotted a couple items of interest that she had read before. It did not seem as if anything was gone, although looking about, perhaps one or two choice books were missing. A case had been opened and some old books had been messed up. Did this idiot really try to steal some old books to sell? Looking over at the cash register, she saw it was open and empty. He probably did not steal much before he had to bolt. Even if she did not look at every aspect and detail, it seemed clear cut to her. "You tried robbing him, he put up a struggle, then you killed him, right?" asked Suzume.
Looking over to the man, she could see him squirming uncomfortably. Suzume guessed that was good enough. Soon an anbu or two arrived and she was told to leave. Although they said they would mention her in the report and her actions to help would be noted. Merely nodding, Suzume walked out of the shop with her dog, the clones dissipating. Well that had been exciting... now what else was she supposed to do with the rest of her day?~Cloud ~ Male Puppy German Shepherd ~ Ninja Dog in training ~"There are no limits. Chakra Pool: 250 ~ AC: 6550 ~ Ryo: 0 She had been back here earlier and from looking at the shop where the murder happened, it was all cleaned up. The anbu had certainly done a good job and now everyone was going about their daily business. It was totally safe for them to do so since Suzume could not see any sign of an enemy. This was turning out to be a rather uneventful mission to say the least. With no sign of an enemy, Suzume was off to the next area to check for enemies.~Cloud ~ Male Puppy German Shepherd ~ Ninja Dog in training ~"There are no limits. "Yosh! Now I'm in the shopping district!" Shunketsu said excitedly. "Wait, why am I excited about that?! This place is filled with greedy people! And thieves!" His voice was so loud that it bounced off of the facades. Almost everyone in the entire district became silent and turned toward him. "WHAT?! YOU HEARD ME!" He shrugged off the hostile stares and continued with his mission.
"Note to self: Don't talk to yourself....loudly." He mumbled to himself. "Otherwise, the townspeople will stare all hostile-like." Unfortunately, he didn't realize that they were staring at him because of WHAT he said, not how he said it. "Crazy townspeople. Anyways, I need to be on the lookout for any strange activity. Other than the thieves that I have no intention of stopping. The store owners need to learn to keep all of their merchandise safe."
Surprisingly, there wasn't much of anything going on in the shopping district. Not even stealing. "Huh....that's strange. There's not even thievery going on. Don't the poor people need to eat?" He frowned, thinking that it was suspicious that there wasn't any stealing going on today. "Well, whatever. I guess that makes my job easier, huh? I won't get yelled at for not stopping thieves, cause....there aren't any today!"
"Since there doesn't seem to be much of anything going on today, I'm just gonna go off to the next district in a little bit. This is really depressing, though. I mean...there's usually SOMETHING going on here. Not today, though..." He sighed and started to listen to his MP3 player. "Man, am I glad I brought this along. I would probably go crazy talking to myself....wait a minute." Shun paused as he noticed something out of the ordinary. "I'M STILL TALKING TO MYSELF!"
"Okay then, this place seems clear." Shun checked his surroundings one more time, just to be safe. "Yep. This place is clear. Now, it's time for the next district! Yaaaay." Sarcasm aside, he enthusiastically ran off to the next area. "Wait a minute....where am I going to next?!"

Get two sets of flowers. her hunter mask tapped against her hip as she walked. "Hmmm." She stepped out of the way of people walking by her as she kept to thought. She leaned against a wall of a shop and looked up to the sky. Reon and Yoko...haven't seen them in nine years....... She closed her eyes and sighed. Can''t believe it's been nine years... He staggered again as Shi whined when Kyo smacked his face into earth. He got up immediatly and ran after a taller boy who stole his backpack. "Come back here with my backpack!!!!!!!" The boy fell on the other side of the street from where Dai was and Kyo tackled him. He hit the ground with his fist, bad eyesight made him miss crushing the kid's head in. She scream as she wrapped her arms around his waist and hoisted him off of the thief. She placed him down and grasped his shoulder tight so he couldn't get out of her grip. "That's enough, Kyo." Her voice was stern to him. She turned and gripped the thief by the shirt. "Try not to pick on those smaller than you, yeah? Sometimes they might have friends in high places." She breathed at the boy. She watched as his eyes moved to her mask at her hip. She pushed him back and snapped her fingers. "Get out of my sites." She hissed at him. The boy scrambled to his feet and took off running. She turned to Kyo and sighed. "What is with the older boys always picking on you, Kyo?" She sighed and smiled. What was so comfy behind his back? He looked at her when released. "I was already there, t-they had me take painkillers and my body dosen't like them." There were two Dai's for a bit then focused to one. Shi barked happily to Dai. Kinda embarrassed that it had to be her little brother that had to ask her. "They set females apart from males.' She cleared her throat and looked at Shi, who looked up at her with a ' wtf ' look. "What!? I can't exclaim them either." She told the dog. She looked at Kyo and jabbed a thumb to the shop down the way. "Come on, Kyo." She turned and walked down the street to the shop she need to go to. Trying to cover her chest from unwanted eyes. Dai pointed to the wall as Shi and Kyo came close to her. "Wait here." She walked into the store and began looking through the hunter wear they had. She looked up and found something a little different from normal hunters. She pointed to it and looked to the owner. "I'd like to buy the set of armor." The shopkeeper looked at her and then to her mask. With a nod and after being rung up Dai stepped out of the store. She smiled at Kyo. "To the Raikage's." She smiled as she swung the back around her shoulder.
