"That is not true and you know it." Nowe said and stood up, stretching. "So...I'd love to stay and talk till the sun rises, but I have some ninja briefing to catch up on....Gotta start getting back to being payed afterall." He offered a hand to help her up, "Want me to walk you home?"

 The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Kiri rolled her eyes as she accepted his hand, letting him help her to her feet. "I can get home on my own you know. I don't need protection from the things in the night." She grinned wickedly. "They need protection from me." She said with a laugh. "But I wouldn't say no to the company." She added with a kinder smile.  The tiger that should be....isn't....

{@Zimbu: M'kay.} Tsumi calmed herself down before she started to cry her eyes out. "You know what, Rai-chan?" she said to her kitty, putting the cat on her shoulder, "Let's not just sit here. We can do that when the moon's out, but for now let's just go around the village and try to have a bit of fun. You with me?" Rai mewed her approval. "Let's get then!" she said, jumping from her roof to another and then again to another roof. She continued jumping on the roofs of house until she neared the gates and saw a team of ninja. She jumped down and stood there, looking at them curiously. 'So teams eat together sometimes, eh?' she thought, 'It's like a family...' She shook her head and got a hold of herself. 'Stop it, Tsumi.' she scolded, 'Ninjas aren't suppose to cry.'

Nowe smiled and held his arm out towards the village. "After you." He said, letting her lead the way. As they began walking, he decided to fill the time with conversation. "you remember that time we were attacked by that giant bird? I found a whole area of them once. It was so cool."

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Kiri chuckled and led the way down towards the village. She let the silence go, not feeling a pressing need to fill it. When Nowe spoke, she glanced at him. "Seriously? Man, those things were big. I've never seen a bird that big before or even since!" The tiger that should be....isn't....

"Yeah...though you have to consider that those giant summons do come from somewhere." He shrugged, "Though...I woudln't know where mine came from to begin with. Snakes arn't to chatty."

"I would trade you for the silence, but the toads have some fascinating stories. Really. I'm going to have to summon one for you one of these days." She told him easily. Nowe laughed, "I'll hold you to that. Should be interesting." He said. Once they reached her house, he stopped and looked at her. "Well..here we are....and I'm sorry if I stressed you out tonight....maybe I should have kept it to myself."

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Kiri chuckled and nodded. She stopped when they reached her house. She frowned at his apology, hugging him fiercely. "Don't be sorry. I'd rather know what's going on around me." She whispered to him. "I'm glad you told me. I just.....need some time. To think." She said with a smile, letting go and taking a step back. "Till tomorrow then. What time do you want to meet?" The tiger that should be....isn't....

"The usual time, what else?" He said with a laugh, but blushing a little from the hug. "But thank you...it's easier to tell things to people that dont' freak out." He took a few steps back, "But...I'll get going. I'll see you later. Good night Kiri." he said.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Wasn't sure you even remembered what the 'usual time' was." Kiri told him with a smirk. Her smirk softened into a genuine smile. "Goodnight Nowe. See you tomorrow." She waved then turned and entered her house. She went straight to her room where she sat on the bed, brushing out her hair. She needed to think. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Nowe watched her leave, then his smile faded. His expression became emotionless. He vanished, then appeared ontop of the Hokage mountain. He looked down at the village with a cold look. "....I told her how I feel...now I have no regrets..."

The team sat and ate, before Katsu noticed a sound from behind. He casually turned his head in the direction of the girl, but didn't actually look at her. "Whoever is there, you are welcome to join us, if you like that is."

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Kiri was silent as she worked, brushing her hair and thinking. She didn't quite know what to make of Nowe's confession. Thinking about it made her blush faintly. Did she love Nowe? She wasn't sure. Could she love Nowe? Probably. She sighed, not really knowing what to think. Out of habit, she played with her bracelet, letting Nowe's chakra comfort her. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Laying in his room kyo sat sprawled out on the floor as he looked up at the ceiling. "Water style jutsu's aren't very effective if I can't keep a source of water close by" he was muttering to himself as he worked out many different battle plans in his mind. In terms of jutsu's he had a good deal of water style at his disposal but was not strong with them away from water sources. His shadow sewing was by far his strongest set of moves but to use it took all of his mobility from him during the process.
