Berner shrugged "whatever" he smiled then entered in and looked around "Hm?" the looked like it been stripped clean of artifacts and heiroglyphs... but the ruins went deeper so Berner kept walking "Man this place smells musty" he then stepped on a pickaxe... it looked rather recent as well.... judging by it these ruins must've been raided at most, 3 weeks ago or so.

"Oh what are you so worried about" he stepped on a floor trap and it triggered stone pillar to crash down on him. something like that could kill a man

Elly quickly ran over to the scene to try and help Berner, "Oh please don't get killed Berner!"

at first he flailed abit but then hands pushed himself off the ground like he was getting up, and any part of his body that got smashed in by the pillar dissappeared in flames and it was like a hole in his body as he stood back up and formed back into his original form, thankfully Kaito was on his harm so he was unharmmed. "haha, wow that was close, any second later and I woulda been a goner hahahahaha"

He turned to her as he got up dusting himself off "A pillar crashed on me, weren't you paying attention?" he blinked as if that was the issue she was talking about."

"Do what?" he blinked still unsure what she was referring too. come to think of it he acted like it was a defense mechanism, perhaps he was so used to that ability that he doesn't pay much attention to it when it activates

"Oh that?.... doesn't everybody else do that?" he blinked, he never actually seen anyone else but himself in such a situation so now that he thought about it maybe she had a reason to be freaking out.
