Wulthgrand eyed the female suspiciously, more so when she grinned so wide. Her excitement about him being alive was... Probably a good sign. It did not really hint that she wanted him dead, yet. It was not the first time he had seen a harpy of course, probably the first time seeing one so young though. "I plan on staying that way." Wulth pointed out, not at all interested in dying just yet.

His grey eyes locked onto the girl's talons when she swung them into better view and into the open. The end of many a creature, those sharp talons would sell well at a mercenary's offices. He reluctantly lifted his sights to her fair face and listened. He rolled his eyes at her firmer response, really not wanting a fight with this one. "Pffffft," he let out the noise of exasperation from between his jaws, "as if this lot could catch you." He insisted and gave a smile, the best he could, to the creature.

After some quiet thinking time and looking around the room, Wulthgrand could not find anything to entertain himself. He looked back up at the harpy. "How does one of your kind end up here in the sands anyway?" He asked rather straightforwardly, genuinely curious. Harpies were mountain dwelling beasties, a people that liked having the high vantage point on any victim. The deserts really lacked any high rises of any sort to please her, surely.

V'i ignored Wulthgrand's first statement about staying alive for the time being. She didn't too much care what the werewolf wanted at this point anyway. Something would have to happen for that opinion to change. But for now, V'i didn't really care whether Wulth wanted to live or die. Instead, she focused on the second thing the werewolf said; the part about being captured. Her pout immediately disappeared, being replaced by a grin of satisfaction. "Damn straight! They wouldn't be able to catch me in a million years!" If she picked up on any sarcasm that Wulth meant through his tone of voice, she didn't appear to outwardly.

But his question about why she was all the way out in the desert was what next caught her attention. V'i blinked in mild surprise as she considered the question. Her head tilted to the left a bit as she thought for a moment. "I'm not really sure... Let's just say it comes with my job and leave it at that." V'i finally answered with an added nod of affirmation and a wide grin. "But just because I'm here, doesn't mean I like it." she added with a stern glare at the werewolf. "Sure there are plateaus and canyons and things like that, but that hardly compares to the mountains." She was saying all of this because she still did think that the mountains was where she really liked to fly the best. The winds were the most beautiful there. "But the same could be asked of you, Mister Furry. What's a werewolf doing out in the dessert, half-dead and unconscious?"

Gmurk was standing by the meeting point, gazing to the direction of the markets, while tapping one of his small feet impatiently against the hard ground. Time was pressing on and they needed to be going, but he did not trust his lucky to have run out just yet. He had been quite fortunate with what went on in the tavern and was keen on seeing that not end.

The darkness was like clear day to him and ironically a clear sunny day was quite stressful for his eyes. But he saw them coming the moment they turned into view from behind several buildings. "Alright, they're here, let's go." Gmurk spoke up quickly. The group turned to their horses and mounted, starting to move down the road before even waiting for the duo just now joining them. They all lifted up the hoods of their traveling cloaks, making them appear merely as a bunch of different sized, robed individuals. No reigning attributes, nothing significant. However, glancing back at the dancer, Gmurk had to wonder if she understood the term 'subtlety'. It was time for work, so he was taking the little things far more seriously. There was no time to start educating the lot of course.

The large city gates leading to the long ramp which went up to the surface were gaping open once they arrived. There were several other travelers already making their way up further along, but no evident guard's were stationed. Whoever was leaving for the desert to travel would gladly do so now for the day was no time to be on the sands. The moon was the greatest companion to any traveler in such a hot climate.

Gmurk kept his peepers on the gates and its surroundings, glancing around suspiciously every now and then till they were through. "Speed up." Gmurk let out then, and the animals were slowly made to head onward quicker. They could ride to their heart's content once completely out on the surface.

Mia led the general Sasha into the Silver Hall, bringing her to the parlor where Ahriman waited. Upon arrival, Mia opened the door to the parlor, and held it open while standing to the side to allow the general entrance. Of course, the fairy servant kept her gaze to the floor, as a sign of submission and respect to the visiting general. "My lord Ahriman. General Sasha is here to see you." Mia spoke softly, alerting her master of the general's arrival.
When the two sat down for their meeting, Mia retreated to a corner of the room, making her presence as invisible as possible. She sat quietly on a small velvet ottoman, scribbling notes in her large ledger. When Mia saw that the meeting between the two was almost over, the young fairy stood, preparing herself to find a servant to escort the lady General to her chambers if she so wished. Mia waited though to see if the two General's had any further words before moving from her corner of the room. It would be a grave mistake of a servant of her stature to cut a meeting of such elevation short from ambition to act.

"Your attire causes a disturbance. That is proof enough that you need to clothe yourself properly." Cara pointed out, honestly starting to grow rather irritated with this male fairy. Did he make it his life's goal to make a mockery of himself? "And sir, I am quite capable of finding you clothes make specifically for a fairy such as yourself, as to not hinder flight, and to not cause your extremities to blacken and fall off." She pointed out, hating that she had to tell him the obvious.

When the male finally threatened to continue singing, Cara put her hands up as if to stop him. "Oh no. Please don't. Your singing is more of a disturbance than your lack of clothes!" Between his singing and his body, the goddess obviously meant for his body to be the more exposed of the two. He was quite muscular after all, like one of the chiseled marble statues of the warriors of old. At times Cara found her peripherals fixed on the hard lines of his torso, though she would never admit to it. Giving up entirely on trying to convince him to wear clothes for the time being, Cara turned from the man once again, and hovered in the direction of the Silver Hall. "Come with me. I will show you to your room."

She led him back to the palace, through the guarded gates and down the eastern wing where most guests were housed. The room she brought him too was the third door along the gilded hallway. She opened the door to allow him entrance. It was richly furnished, only containing the best hand carved furniture and intricately woven fabrics. In a word, it was immaculate. "Your chambers Sir. I shall arrange for a servant to come and tend to your needs. But for the time being, is there anything else you require?"

Miriallia picked up one of the small fish in her hands and began to eat. It tasted of smoke and salt. The saltiness picked up from the rock it was cooked on. Her fingers moved carefully along the spine, plucking out the cord of vertebrae along with the many tiny rib bones with it.
"Do you mean tonight? Or in the distant future?" Miriallia asked while she ate. "Tonight...I think the closest city is the capitol. Risky I know but I think their annual festival is happening soon. So long as we keep our hoods up, no one should pay us much heed I think." She murmured. So long as they kept to the shadier parts of the city, where humans are less discriminated against so long as they have coin or trade in their pockets.
"In the long run....what if...we tried to find a way to Mythomortia? I've heard that there are harpies who frequent our shores and will carry you over...for a price. And there are ships who might take passengers across the divide. I know there's a way...it's just a matter of finding it. At least over there...our master would no longer be able to look for us. A man of his standing would never cross the divide, even if he had the resources."

Wulthgrand rolled his eyes. So easy to please and so very arrogant. At least she was not any angrier he figured. His pale eyes set back to her fair form as she went on about her history next. Well that was... Very vague. It did sound like she really missed her home. Was there a reason she could not go back? "Why not flap those feathers of yours and get going, just get back to the rock?" Wulth asked calmly. Seemed easy enough for her to leave this dreary desert.

Wulthgrand's expression apparently killed itself when she referred to him as 'Mr Furry' before asking her question. Her stared at her with disinterest and displeasure. "... Shut up chicken." Wulthgrand murmured and looked away. "I'm just a courier." A courier that had been rather busy trying to survive after his... encounter.

Wulthgrand struggled to stand, wincing at the pain in his leg, but managed by taking support from the wall. Still not exactly good to walk on. It really did not help that he had not rested after the fight and actually moved so much. Yet he kinda wanted to go see outside and make sure his package was alright. Being stuck here was not particularly enjoyable.

Although the fish's taste wasn't that great Demios was just glad to have something to eat, not to mention fish was one of his more preferred types of food. He was careful to avoid any bones that could cause him to choke and wrapped the ones he came across in a small cloth to save for later in case he needed them. As they talked about what their plan was he herd mention of the capitol and looked down "I was afraid you'd say that" He mumbled not liking the idea of how dangerous it would be, but he knew she had a point and he'd be lying if he said he preferred where they were. "We'll just have to be extremely careful" he said to her. He knew that the duke would likely have people out looking for them. Odds were he was still angry about being hexed and even more so about Miriallia disappearing. When they began talking about future plans Demios had to pause to contemplate the idea. "It seems like a good plan to start with, but we'll definately have to do more research into it, all it would take is one thing to go wrong and we'd be screwed" He said to her.

"Alas, I know when I am beaten, very well, I will see what I can do, though you must know, not all of my kind would listen to me, no matter how blessed I am of the goddess. Most of us are far too set in our ways to militarize or teach," Sasha said as she stood and bowed her head respectfully saying, "As for needs, the only things I request is that any heating magic placed on my room be removed and a fresh bowl of fruit in the morning." The Witch of the Frozen Wastes then turned and started to head for the door, her icy gaze crossing over the fairy servant as the room seemed to warm as she exited.

Ahriman nodded in response to Sasha's parting comments. "I trust you to do the best you can. Mysto prevail." Ahriman stated coolly. Whatever they could get would be a welcome addition. The crusades were to continue until Mytho lay defeated, as such war preparations would never cease, not unless there was a better way.

Mystocentria, considering their ways, had of course made numerous other attempts at getting their victory rather than all out combat. In the past it ranged from assassinations to bribing Mythomortian officials, even kings, and ingenious use of magics for starters. Most memorable probably being the airship lifted by a group of air elementalists and flown through the clouds, straight to Mytho's shrine in the far lands. A lucky harpy had then spotted the group and, having used up so much magic by then that they were useless to fight back, they were all quickly had for dinner.

At the small request she made, Ahriman gave a glance and a short nod to his servant. "Make it so." He commanded, easily allowing something so simple to be put into effect. The service staff in control of heating in the cold environment had a busy job, they would likely be more than happy to divert energy from one of the rooms and let it succumb to the natural cold elements surrounding the entire city.

Outside the room were several servants, all standing up against the wall, and waiting. With a guest around, their presence was likely to be required and as such it was only right for them to have arrived early. They simply needed instruction, which the higher servant could grant.

Once Sasha was tended to accordingly, Ahriman finally rose from his seat. The day was ending and there were the most minimal tasks left to complete. First, there were papers to see in his own quarters including the new schedule for the festival. Then he could return to his Mistress's side as the rest of his kingdom rested.

So, first, his final official duty. Ahriman's usual brisk pace was kept in his movement, the quiet thump of his shoes echoing down the long hallways he traversed. In the room, Ahriman took a seat by the desk at the back-middle of the room and removed his gloves, setting them aside for later. It was the most quiet time of his day, no other company and no distractions. Him, his currently single servant, and mere reading to be done. Ahriman's bone fingers went through the papers and documentation, particularly paying attention to the schedule for the festival.

A pout came to V'i lips when she heard what Wulth asked her about going home. "Well, obviously, for one, I have work to do. And besides, flying around the continent is much more interesting and exciting." she replied, giving her statement a nod of affirmation. It was true. V'i had been rather bored back at home. Though, she would be lying if she said she didn't miss home sometimes.

However, the mood in the room changed drastically when Wulth called her a chicken. The young harpy's eyes narrowed dangerously as her hands pulled the fabric of the hammock into a death grip. "Don't insult me, Puppy. I can tear your throat out faster than anything you could possibly do to me. Especially in the physical state you're in now." Vi's tone was at a low and menacing level. She jumped off of the hammock and, while hovering in midair, kicked Wulthgrand in the back with one of her talons. It was a rough shove, but it wasn't enough to break skin and just enough force to most likely send the werewolf sprawling onto the wooden floor of the wagon. "I'm starting to wish I had eaten you instead of saving your asinine hide..." she added bitterly with a scoff as she turned her head away from Wulthgrand.

Sasha sighed with a small relief as she entered the cold room, releasing the control she held over her powers as the room was instantly encased in a light sheet of ice and frost quickly cooling down to a temperature that she found more comfortable, the ice keeping the cold winds from exiting the room. She took up a meditative position and began to sleep like that, the cold seeming to resonate with each heartbeat, the wind mimicking each breath.

Elvin cheered quietly to himself, and took note to make reference to singing when he didn’t want to wear clothes. He knew that he would probably be pressurised to wear clothes again but then again Ahriman hadn’t made any note to the lack of clothes and so it wasn’t a big concern. He floated after her, looking at all the riches that the palace had within its walls. Even the room for the guests was grand, much grander than he had seen in all his times of travelling but then again this was the palace. He had heard the rumours, like everyone else, but he had never bothered to pay imagination to what it might be like.

He flopped down on the bed with a sigh. Even the bed was a goose feather mattress it seemed, something to sink into and quell his weary bones. Not that they were very weary, that made him sound like an old man. He sat up suddenly and looked at the tapestry that was opposite the bed. Red thread interwoven with golden pieces, pictures which spoke to the guest on how great the goddess Mysto was and all the wonders she had created. He barely heard the question at the end but he quickly looked over at smiled.
“Your sister is very pretty,” he said softly, “take good care of her. She’s most certainly the quieter of you two.” He said with a laugh and then a horrifying thought occurred to him. “You’re not going to make me wear clothes are you?” he asked, eyes narrowing at Cara. “Clothes are a big no, no, no, no, no.” He repeated, wiggling his finger. He did have a personal reason for it, although no one ever asked him why.

((Damn it, I'm sorry I've been gone. A couple weeks ago, a roommate spilled gatoraide on my laptop's keyboard, pretty much killing the keyboard. Had to ship it out to get it replaced and to make sure nothing else was damaged. Luckily, it was under warranty. Unluckily, I've been unable to keep up with anything that's been going on via internet. Really sorry about this, guys. I'm really bummed that this happened as I was really liking the rp. If there's some way I can slip back in, I will. Else, I may just sit back until an opening finds its way for me to proceed. Again, my apologies. ))

((Whoa, harsh. Welcome back dude. I'll make sure to update you so you can come back in straight off the bat!

For Mythomortian side, Wulthgrand the werewolf fainted in the desert while traveling and was rescued by a group of human merchants. He is now chatting with a creature under hire by these merchants - the Harpy V'i.

Gmurk the smuggling goblin hired a few peeps and left the capital city of Mythomortia. He's now traveling the sands to meet Vex's human rebels nearer to Mystocentria. Posts pending.
Vex's other rebel is in Mystocentria now, in the capital city, wandering the streets.

There's a new escaped human slave character, and a Warlock that likes her. These two have escaped from the Mystocentrian capital and are living in a random forest.

Ahriman and his two servants are in his castle, with Elvin the mage guild fairy.

Most importantly for you, Mystocentria has a new General. Sasha, water elemental and a witch. She's in the Mystocentrian castle right now as well.

The RP is sorta waiting for what on earth you planned to do with that person you kidnapped. So you're just hopefully posting where you left off. Kidnapping a council member has severe consequences in terms of the RP world and we're all sorta looking for you to fix what you've done, somehow. ))

Iri hung in the clouds, circling the city. He calmed in the sky, his head clearing with each buffet of wind. A thrum rumbled from his chest, attempting to wake the little one. He looked down at the city and sighed. "Home, huh? Been a while since I've truly considered this place as such." He thought back to his parents, both of whom he hadn't seen in years. This, of course, led him to thoughts of his own brood and a lingering sadness overcame him briefly before he hummed again and continued to talk to the air around him. "Do you truly consider this as a home or a prison? Is this truly a life that you believe you wish to live? Caught and trapped within the confines of legal and royal bounds? Mysto, I know not what you want from me with this child. I know not what you were directing me to do. I know not this little one's purpose. However, I do know my own duties to the country I've lived in and dare to call home. May the little one forgive me, but I cannot risk my race for the freedom of one." With another rumble, he began his song and his decent to the city, cradling the elf carefully against his warm chest, his heartbeat almost matching the slow rhythm of his wings. With a tip of the wing, he turned and aimed for the courtyard of the palace.

(( I actually hadn't planned on kidnapping her. For two weeks, I've been seething because I couldn't lay out my train of thought. But, I'm glad I can get back on track. ))

That sounded about right. They all had to work, and the mountains did not sound as exciting as the forests. Though a lot of things beat the desert when it came to entertainment factor. The sands did not exactly offer constant comic relief.

Wulthgrand did not take the harpy's poor temper well in response, or her wording. "You're about to cross some lines there, bird." Wulth growled quietly. It was then that she took into the air in the small room, and goddess forbid Wulth was hoping she did not have the nerve to start a fight - then the kick landed.

Wulthgrand was pushed to the floor, the skin underneath his fur easily bruised by the force of impact. The werewolf turned his head back, opened his vicious maw wide and growled furiously. The sound shook the small vehicle and frightened the animals leading them to a frenzy. The guards struggled and shouted as they struggled with them. Inside the werewolf was just about ready to leap up, pull the feeble creature from the air, and smash her repeatedly into the wooden floor.

The owner of the caravan and its cargo appeared with hurry inside, followed by bodyguards closely, and took in the scene in horror. He was shouting off the top of his lungs to get the two beasts to calm down. Wulth took little notice, but it kept him from striking back.
"Being eaten would probably be preferred to your living company."
Wulth murmured darkly.
