Dodging around the piles of books and under the swarm of book bats, she found a clear path through all of the chaos going on and made a break for it. Almost there! Next time that boil needs any help, he can go drown in the abyss. She thought.

	In her panic to escape the bats, the baku didn't notice where she was going, realizing that she had stepped on a book only when it slipped out from beneath her foot and sent her stumbling forward. In the flailing attempt to right herself, her arm slammed into another stack of books nearby, sending them tumbling to the floor. Xiu momentarily spared a glance back at Avery, who had paused and was looking none-too-happy about the mess, before rushing off. Escape points: +1 / -4

	Shaking his head, Shun collected himself once more. Well, sort of. He vaulted over another table, though he didn't see the books on the ground below. Landing on these, he ended up slipping ahead, knocking some things down along the way. This seemed to work in his favor, though, as it caused the librarian to take a moment to figure out the damage. In any case, he was now free. Escape: 3 positive \|\| 2 negative.

	(( 1d6 Roll: 6 Escape Points: -0 / +3! Free at last! )) Staying on the path she'd found earlier, Tsukiko marveled at how it remained unobstructed. Glancing behind her, she saw why... it seemed the other students were being mobbed by the book bats. She winced in silent sympathy as one ghoul in particular seemed to be a beacon to the cursed things. Kaimana, you are one lucky charm. She thought, wondering if the minipet had sneaked into her belt-pouch earlier that day. If so, she'd soon find out when the stash of crumbs in the smaller pouch were gone. Putting on one last burst of speed, Tsukiko broke free.

	So close, yet so far. Just as Xiu was about to reach the exit, the bats came back, swooping over and around her. Startled by their return, the baku stumbled just long enough for someone to catch up. Feeling someone grab her shoulder, the ghoul immediately sagged, letting out a sigh. Well, she knew who that was. Certain that now was not the time for excuses (even if it was the truth) and hoping that he'd hear her out when he was slightly...less...grumpy (...they had made a mess of the place, after all), she simply sighed. "...Sorry, sir." Escape points: +2 / -5

	West's first thought was something along the lines of porno mags are banned? His second was to sock Avery in the jaw, which was followed quickly by his third: get the hell out of the library. He took off around a stack of books, smacking at several of them on his way past with the intention of blocking the path behind him. 	He decided to take a peek over his shoulder to see where Avery had gotten off to, and as he did, West's arm smacked into one of the shelves.
