Lemath let R'am up with a nuzzle of his hair and a little crooon to him. Her eyes radiated that vibrant blue as she watched her brown brother with his. Her heart swelled and her eyes mixed with sadness and happiness for him. That impression was of mixed feelings. She honked a little at R'am, nudging him with her head before skittering through the sands, leading R'am away from a lot of the commotion for now.
He had a hard day already, getting tossed around.
R'am was feeling a bit haggard and burned. The sands were blazing hot and no doubt his skin had burned a little. Not blistered, he hoped, but it wasn't exactly comfortable anymore.
Come this way! Lemath was excited! Bouncing over to her sister, Varionnith, and rubbed up against her a little.
R'am sighed when they got to a table. He hoped it was relative safety from all that commotion. Someone had impressed the brown, and from the looks of it, it was a very emotional sight. R'am swallowed a little and just looked to Ellain.
"Hey. Uuuh, lots of feelings flying around."

The Emperor watched with red eyes as Elzebuth finally Impressed. He growled low in his throat, a warning, even as Goran accepted his brother's pleas. His wings remained flared, his little chest heaving from effort. He sported a few scratches and bite marks from Elzebuth, but didn't care. While his brother had not submitted, the brown at least had picked a chosen, and the rest of the clutch would be all the better for it.
Certain that Elzebuth no longer would continue to cause trouble, he let himself relax when his golden clutchmate approach. He leaned into the others touch for a moment, taking comfort in her presence, before he turned and stalked deliberately back to the group of remaining Candidates.
There was no need to deliberate. He did not need to move from person to person, and though his eyes continued to whirl red, he no longer attacked. He walked around those in the way, until he had finally found the one he had been looking for all along.
I don't know what you see in him, Mine. Why does he consume your thoughts, when I have been yours from the start? The bronze reared back, and rested his claws gingerly on the other. He reached out with his neck and pressed his face against the others, tenderly. Love, warmth, affection, and perhaps, the tiniest bit of worry flowed through the boy as Impression was made. Is your Aresoth not good enough? Have you no room in your heart for me? And this time the bronze did give a plaintive creel, his confidence fading in a moment of rare insecurity.
Caderyn had (from Aresoth's view) been smitten by the Devil so much more than himself, and the bronze's heart simply couldn't take anymore rejection. From the awful Touching, to Elzebuth's attempts to hold sway, the bronze just couldn't take Caderyn's eyes on anyone else any longer. He needed assurance, but he needed it from Caderyn and Caderyn alone.

Excitement was abound as two of the hatchlings began to fight. Jacomus contemplated making a bet with anybody who would on which dragonet would win, but before he could inquire, the fighting had stopped - The young brown had Impressed to somebody. He smiled, more to himself, before looking around.
And then a movement caught his eye. A boy, who couldn't have been much older than Jacomus when he'd Impressed Kraketh, was moving through the crowd. "Well somebody's a bit of a klutz..." He turned back to watch the hatchlings, only to have his head invaded.
J'mus, that young man looks off. Kraketh's eyes had gone from the hatching to Taysen, watching his movements. He looks as though he's stumbling through, but he's much too old to be that clumsy. You were never clumsy at that age. I think he might be sick.
Jacomus shifted, glancing back toward the young man he'd noted. I'll keep an eye on him, Kraketh, don't worry. Though I'm sure these hidebound Weyrfolk will know if this is unusual behavior or not for him. He hummed, then looked back to the sands.
Strawberri Stardust It would appear Taysen has been noticed! But nothing is suspected yet

With Goran - how would he choose to shorten his name? - gone, Nadry felt infinitely more vulnerable. If not for Ichta, she would have felt very alone as well, even with the other boy and the injured girl. With the chaos calmed, she felt compelled to close ranks again, and sidled back in close to the others, even if she was still reeling from everything that had happened. Which was ridiculous, she chastised herself. She was completely unscathed, thanks to the people around her. She had no reason to feel so..so...she didn't even have the right words for it, really. It was stress and longing and worry and shame and so, so many things.
She forced herself to close her eyes for a moment, counter to good sense but it was just a moment, took a deep breath, and tried to compose herself. She could do this. She could do anything. But that feeling from the Touching was so far away, now...
Nadry bit her lip and looked to the Tower, hope flagging but not quite gone yet. You showed me I could soar, she thought wistfully, Please don't leave me here on the ground.

Amila had curled up by the Healer's table, letting herself be seen to, but soon, without leaving, she watched the dragonets. The brown and bronze fighting was awful, and the girl wiped a few stray tears as the dragonets Impressed. Still... She gazed not to the golden empress, but the Star. The Star, ever so in need of knowing it was safe.
And what of the others? Some didn't seem in a hurry, but what if they didn't Impress? E'ion said... But...
Please, be okay little ones. Amila thought, frettingly. Yours So want to meet you... Please, don't be afraid. Think of the hugs!

Seeing the brown Impress, glad that it had stopped fighting with the bronze, even if the bronze had started it. He was going to respond to Luiciand when suddenly the bronze was making it's way over to them. His eyes watched as the bronze move towards him and then, he felt the voice in his head. His eyes opened wide, he had not expected for this to happen and yet, it did.
There were no words for him to explain why he had liked the red egg, so he could offer no words of apology to him as he was suddenly face to face with the bronze. He had tenderly placed his claws on to him and Caderyn felt them tear through the robe, but not harming him either. "I'm sorry." That was all he could say. A quick shake of his head as he heard the worry and then he wrapped his arms around his neck, holding the dragonet close to him, keeping their heads pressed together. "No, you are perfect, there is no problem for you Aresoth and my heart has more then enough room for you." He didn't care if Luiciand, Cami and Demanthra could hear what he was saying to his dragon, he was just so overwhelmed with emotion and needing to help him feel better.
------------------------------------------------------------------
A bugle escaped Gareth from where he was perched on the ledge watching everything. His A'dras' son had impressed, he had impressed a bronze and a very handsome one at that. He could feel the pride that came from A'dras at the sight.
Branwyn pressed herself close to A'dras as their son Impressed, a smile on their lips, a very proud moment for them.
------------------------------------------------------------------
Dorianus smiled as he saw Goran impress, he had gotten a little worried when the brown had come towards them, but there was a change it in. Then his attention moved to Caderyn, his roommate, former roommate now. It seemed he had Impressed as well. Though his attention went back to Nadry, smiling softly at her before looking at Faren, the girl who had gotten hurt.
"Are you sure you are alright?" He was watching her arm, there was something about it that was bothering him.

Farensil watched the blurs clear up again and become people and dragons again as the pain in her shoulder went through a withdrawal, probably due to a stilling of movement in the limp limb.Voices seemed to have cleared up, and she peered sideways as Dorianus fussed over her alongside the others. "I'm fine. ... None of you are impressed, either, get your butts out and go meet dragons." She muttered, pushing up with the only arm she could effectively use and wobbling some before she started for the rest of the sands. "The ground's too hot to sit around anyways."
She shrugged her good shoulder and pulled the other wrist in front of her, holding it carefully to keep it out of the way in case she needed to move out of someone's way. She might have been more cautious earlier, or even in previous hatchings, but she had decided not to wait for the hatchlings to find her anymore, sidling in amongst the edge of the egg's nest-wallows and dragging her fingers over the nearest; the High Priestess. "You lot coming out, or is it just too comfortable in there?" She wouldn't wait before moving along to the next; the medium pink that used to sit by the Wheel of Fortune, now alone in the sands and leaning on none. "Let's go! Time to get up, you guys! Didn't you hear there's a party?"

Uridith
The gold seemed to almost sag with relief when both brown and bronze impressed, and were accepted by theirs. No more fighting on her sands, lest those not involved be drawn into the mess and frightened. The gold wanted nothing more than to see all her babies paired and happy and healthy. There were yet a number of hatchlings roaming, including her precious golden daughter, and things might finally be calming...
Until she spied something that she did not like. In a beat the gold had half stood, wings flaring just slightly as her eyes fixed on Farensil, whirling a slow, unhappy muddy color between green and orange. They will hatch when they are ready. Remove your hand. The queen mother's voice thundered into the girl's head, and a ripple of her lips showed a flash of teeth. Get back with the herd, or get off the sands and have your wound seen to, before you pressure one of MY babies into what they are not ready for yet. It was a real enough possibility that a hatchling could feel pressured, and stressed, and between at a hatching, and the gold would rather chase off a willful child than let that happen. And she would, if Farensil did not get back where she belonged.
Vitre
High up, Vitre's poised hands finally exploded into applause when the brown, to his eyes cowed by the bronze, went scuttling to its chosen boy. The bronze went soon after, leaving a few greens, a blue, and the golden queen. At last a breath of joy seemed to be flowing like fresh cool air back into the stifling hatching sands (and boy were they hot! He hadn't even noticed until now!) and setting the crowd at ease. "That seemed like a close one. But they sure look happy now, don't they? Man...I can't imagine it. I bet it's just the best, huh Nebbi?" He slid to the edge of his seat, bouncing slightly and much more eager for the fun to begin again now that no one was fighting!

Wait- What-
While Nadry was busy mooning over a dragonet - a sharding brown dragonet, stupid stupid girl - their new fourth companion took it upon herself to get up and move, with surpising speed, towards the remaining eggs. Her breath caught in her throat and she stuttered forward a few steps, one hand out as thought she could catch at the other girl, but she was already too far away. She couldn't chase after her, she would be more likely to make things worse than help, but she called out after her, "No, don't! Come back!"
She was already hurt, but so much worse could happen!! And now Uridith was upset. Shards and shells!

Ohhhh no, no, no, no, no...
Ichta reached out for Farensil but the woman was out of her reach before she could grab her....and harassing the eggs. Did...Did she go to do something? A knot of concern welled up in Ichta's guts, looking at the other Candidates on the sands before she moved forward, step by step, to see if she could get the injured (and possibly slightly delirious) Candidate back in check.
"This is a bad time for this...please..." her voice was soft, quiet, and had absolutely no authority in it whatsoever...but still there Ichta was to try to maybe do some damage control.
Or get Maimed.
Whichever.
"Let's get you over to a healer." she looked around, which way was the closest one?
