Marcel nodded his head at how Virgil pointed out how the killer loved making messes of his victims"Oh yeah, they went all out on the special effects" he gushed a small bit once again. Marcel was a sucker for actual makeup and props, unlike all the usual CG that most movies used these days. He always liked how the girl who normally died first in these movies actually was able to be the first to harm the killer. However Virgil's comment made Marcel snort a bit in amusement and smirked a little bit at the other man with a quirked eyebrow "Fair point, that would keep even the most psychotic of men down for awhile" he laughed a small bit before turning his attention back to the movie just as the killer put the rag into the tailpipe and smirked a little "This is actually the most tame kill that he performed" the Hispanic would comment as the killer would simply leave the cop to die from the fumes as he slept. It was so different from his usual, brutal style but the killer had people on his list that he wanted and he would be efficient when he had to do so. Finally the scene would shift to the infamous bath scene that made many people extremely sickened at the movie. In fact it was even banned in some theaters because of it. It would start simply, some soft music playing from her phone as she slipped into the bubbly water. The scene would shift to the boy and girl next door, downstairs in the basement planning what they could do to stop the killer. Meanwhile it would then show the killer in the house, silently locking the basement door from the outside and propping a chair against it for extra measure. He wanted them to stay down there. Finally it would shift back to the flirty girl as she closed her eyes and rested against the bathtub. The Killer would silently open the bathroom door and seemed to take in the sight of her form before grabbing her by the hair and shoving her head underwater. She would begin screaming and fighting as best she could, however just as she was beginning to lose air he would lift her head back up for her to catch her breath before dunking her back underwater. He would do this several times smashing her head against the porcelain tub to make her dizzy before then using some plastic ties and tying her arms to the shower bar. Once she regained herself the flirty girl would begin begging before the killer produced a knife from his back pocket as he cut a thin line down the center of her chest with the blade dipping well below the waistline where camera was now allowed to show, instead now stopping at the center of her stomach before it cut back to the basement where the flirty girl's screams could be heard. Both friends would bash themselves against the door to free themselves and ran upstairs to the now silent bathroom. However when the opened the door they were met with the sight of the flirty girl's whole torso flayed open, revealing all the internal organs. However unlike before they were still pulsating as the flirty girl would look up and croak out for them to run.

I was then that the final stand was fought as the boy next door had his head torn back for his throat to be slit, however the youths hand shot up just in time to protect his throat as a growl of frustration came from the killer. Marcel would nod his head approvingly "Smart kid" he had actually seen that used once or twice by some soldiers who were quick enough and it did save some lives. The killer would proceed throw him against a wall and went to stab him, however the girl next door would hop onto the killers back as he began shambling trying to get her off of him. She would bite his ear as the two ended up both falling down the stairs. The two would begin a struggle for the knife with the killer beginning to overpower her, however it was then that the boy next door came down with a baseball bat and smashed the killer over the head. It was then that retribution was served as the girl next door grabbed his knife and stabbed it into his chest, commenting that it was for their friends and her brother. The Boy next door would begin bashing the killers skull in while she repeatedly stabbed him in the chest until the killers body was just an unidentifiable red mass with arms and legs. The movie would end with an ambulance and several cop cars arriving on the scene with the final scene being with the two in the hospital walking down the hallway with flowers. Revealing that the flirty girl of all people survived, granted being horridly maimed in the process. With that the credits would roll and Marcel looked down at the man sprawled across his lap before rubbing circles in the werewolf's back "So what did you think Querido?" he would ask for the others opinion since no doubt Marcel was extremely biased to the movie.

Bloody and messy as possible seemed to be the serial killer’s favorite way to end people so when it appeared that he aimed to drown the girl, Virgil was unimpressed until he remembered Marcel’s comment about how the cop’s death was the least violent one. He rolled his eyes when the cut away from the maniac actually murdering his victim. For all the hate this movie no doubt received, the pansies should at least be thankful that they didn’t show the parts where he was cutting into people while they were alive. Not that it would have bothered him as if they had, he wasn’t a stranger to gore after all. He had to surprise a chuckle when her friends rushed into the bathroom to find her hanging there with her flesh opened like some high school biology project waiting to be poked and prodded. Of course, he only found humor in this stuff when it was fictional. A well-rested wolf was also an energetic wolf, and he found himself beginning to grow restless as the film went on. Though he managed to keep his squirming to a minimum, only shifting carefully on occasion when being completely still became too much for him to handle. He wondered if it wasn’t better for him to not get so much sleep, being half-tired as he had the last few days might be a better alternative to have feeling like bouncing off the walls like a hyper active pup. And the thought of doing something like that was almost tempting. Virgil wasn’t going to make a comment on the kid’s life-saving move, which was something he had never thought to do the one time someone had tried to cut open his throat. It would have saved him some trouble if he had. ”They’re both smart…” He’d comment once it became clear that the murderer wouldn’t be getting up again. Maybe all the beating and stabbing was overkill, but it couldn’t be said that the pair wasn’t thorough with finishing him off. ”Liar, liar, pants on fire.” He grumbled out as a joke with how the movie ended since Marcel had mentioned that the flirty girl would die earlier. He would consider it a happy ending.
The lycan let out a noise of appreciation as soon as he began to rub his back. It was enough for him to remain where he was despite the urge to get up and do something, wanting to enjoy being touched for a while. ”It was good for what it is. Kinda sucks they just played th’ psychotic card and didn’t give him ah reason for wantin’ ‘em dead.” It would’ve given it a better plot in his humble opinion although it wasn’t like he knew of many movies he could compare this one to. ”Think th’ killer shoulda lived.” Sometimes it was hard to not root for the bad guys and that guy had been pretty talented, after all. He closed his eyes until he heard the opening music for another movie starting. It seemed to be some post-apocalyptic world by the look of the abandoned street with nearly destroyed buildings that a woman in ragged clothing was walking down. She went into what used to be a convenience store through a smashed window and began to rummage around for anything edible that might be left. ”Zombie movie?” Virgil questioned as the camera panned to a withered corpse an aisle over from where the woman was. Something inside of its mouth moved before something black and slimy slithered out from between its lips and seemed to taste the air, the eyes soon opening as it slipped back inside. With that, the corpse stood up but rather than shambling toward the woman, it agilely jumped over the shelving unit separating it from its prey. She screamed as she was knocked to the floor, its mouth gaping open unnaturally as five tentacles lined with sharp barbs came out. Whether the woman managed to save herself from the creature or not wasn’t something they would find out because as soon as he saw her trying to grab the pistol she’d dropped, he grabbed the remote and changed the channel. ”Well, that was disturbin’….” And kind of interesting, but he wasn’t going to risk triggering the veteran’s PTSD to find out just what sort of thing that was. In no mood to listen to an infomercial for a so-called miracle bra another second, he flipped channels again and landed on what appeared to a medieval fantasy show. Whatever. It would do until the movie buff found them something. They wouldn't have to worry about hearing any gunshots while it was on, that was the important thing to him. "Want anythin' from th' kitchen?" His cup was grabbed as he made a move to get up.

Marcel would watch the scene completely unaffected by what was considered shocking and horrid for the general audience. Truth be told Marcel was simply too jaded to be bothered by some internal organs and and blood, although he would shoot Virgil a look for a second "And I'm the one who needs to get his brain checked?" he commented with an amused grin at the man who actually chuckled at the scene that made others sick. Of course he wasn't one to judge, he had laughed at some things that were less than savory. He would look down at Virgil who would squirm around a little bit here and there, he couldn't help but wonder if the other man was getting restless. It wasn't too much but he could at least tell that Virgil was becoming more and more antsy which wasn't too much of a surprise. The Werewolf seemed like someone who could only sit still for so long before needing to do something or anything. The Hispanic could appreciate the fact that he was so willing to sit there with him for as long as this movie was. Marcel would then nod his head when Virgil commented on their intelligence in the situation at hand. He would then glance down when Virgil made that lovely noise and smirked a little bit before he began to give the Werewolf a full on massage simply because he was able to given their position. Once Virgil gave his own analysis the Hispanic would contemplate it for a moment before shrugging his shoulders a bit "I could agree, the most they ever gave was that he was obsessive or something" admittingly enough the Movie did have it's glaring faults such as the killer being nothing more than a bloody vehicle for unique kills and murders. Marcel would then chuckle a little bit when Virgil wanted the killer to live "At first I thought so too but then I remembered that the killer surviving leads to shitty sequels, I'm personally thankful they killed him so it would close the door for any bad ideas" at least that was how the Veteran thought about it. He would then blink as the newest movie began to play and he would watch it for a second and shrugged his shoulders "Haven't seen this one before" he would blink in surprise when the creature pounced on the woman with an agility that caught him off guard. Usually they were shambling and slow, however the sight of the gun caused Marcel to cringe just a bit. Thankfully though Virgil changed the channel, sparring the Hispanic from the ensuing gunshots. He would chuckled a little bit at the others comment and offered a small smirk "Gracias querido" he spoke as he had been massaging the other man the entire time. This time however the Hispanic's hands would stop just above the hem of the others shorts and smirked as he rested a hand on one of the cheeks "All I need is this beautiful man, thanks" of course Marcel kept his hands on the other, not quite holding him down but certainly not making it any easier for the Werewolf to get up.

”Been there, done that. I’m damaged goods, darlin’.” Virgil uttered dryly with no real anger at the comment. His doctor hadn’t thought it was a great idea to release a werewolf with his history back into society without giving him a psychological evaluation first. He hadn’t exactly passed with flying colors, but they hadn’t tried too hard to keep him from leaving the facility. Everything was fine with him as far as he was concerned, he hadn’t lost control of himself yet and didn’t plan on letting it happen anytime soon. That was a conversation he should probably have with Marcel in the near future, but it could wait for one more night. Dragging up something horrible that might not happen was something he didn’t have the courage to do now. Having his hands going from rubbing to massaging had another one of those noises coming from him as he practically melted underneath his touched, at least enough that he would make a wise-crack about how it didn’t shut the door on shitty prequels. It was hard to believe that he didn’t want there to be another movie following the same theme considering how much he had enjoyed the one they had finished watching.

”Mhm.” Gracias was one of the very few words that he knew of the Hispanic’s native tongue. A brow was raised as he felt his hand pause on part of his rump, which he soon wiggled. ”Now who is th’ one bein’ cheesy?” Wasn’t him for once! He settled back down, telling himself it was because of how realistic the CGI dragons on screen looked and not because of the hands trying to keep him down. Somehow, the voice-actors that portrayed them managed to even sound draconic as they spoke. A young one was questioning its father why they allowed the humans to treat them as beasts of burden. What the elder dragon’s answer was wasn’t something he heard because he stopped paying attention to it. Virgil sat up, but rather than standing, he swung a leg over him and sat down in his lap. He put down his cup and grabbed the former soldier’s hands, bringing his arms around him again before making his hands slid down his lower back until his palms rested over his backside. He gave a languid roll of his hips as he did, biting down on his lower lip as if he was trying to suppress a groan at the simple touch. He continued to hold them there while he leaned forward to close the distance between their faces, but a toothy grin and a wink was the only reward he would get as he pulled his hands away and let go of them and quickly hopped off of him. The big guy chuckled softly to himself as he went to the kitchen to get a refill. When he returned a few seconds later, he moved passed to sit down were what seemed to him to be the most comfortable spot on the couch, right at the joint of the L-shape. Considering how vindictive his lover could be, he was under the impression that it was a good idea to keep his distance. Crossing his legs, he glanced to Marcel. ”How’s your neck doin’, babe?” Asked as if he hadn’t tried to tease him and give him unhealthy ideas a moment ago though he was genuinely concerned about the injury.

Marcel genuinely laughed a little bit at Virgil's rather dry comment as he gave a small smile and rested his hands on the other mans shoulders as he massaged him "We're both damaged goods Babe, it's why we're perfect for each other" his gave his own retort with an almost amused tone. Amused simply for the fact that both men had horrible issues and through that, they could both sympathize and understand what the other went through to some degree. Even if they both fought different battles, shed blood in different ways, and lost important people in different ways, they both had been through hell. Except each of their hell's were seen through different lenses but in the end hell was hell, neither one any better than the other. The Hispanic would then smirk a little bit as Virgil visibly relaxed under his touch and made that beautiful sound again. A wide grin would form on his face at the others smart a** comment "I can come up with a good one every once in blue moon" honestly he didn't know about being cheesy, it sounded more like a pick up line than anything sweet or romantic. At least to him. Marcel wasn't even paying an ounce of attention to the movie at this point as he was far more interested in the man under his touch than a new dragon joining their little discussion. He didn't do anything to stop the other man from getting himself up but when he instead swung a leg over to sit in his lap Marcel gave a smirk as he let his hands be moved by Virgil. Once his hands were placed over Virgil's rump he would give a squeeze of appreciation, the man's body was damn near perfect! He would feel some serious heat beginning to form him parts of his body as the other rolled his hips that was almost sinfully too good. Marcel was just about to lean forward to lock lips with Virgil when he saw that grin and wink 'Oh hell no!' the Veteran was the only one who did that kind of teasing! The Werewolf was clearly wanting to play with fire it seems! Hmm what to do? Marcel's vindictive streak was now raring to go, he was heated in every way right now and there was no way Marcel would let this one slide. So while Virgil was refilling his drink the Hispanic man would think of a quick plan on how to get back at him. It was then that the idea hit him and he had to hold back the grin that wanted to form on his face, it was a bit mean but he was rather sure it would be fine. And so what if it gave the impression that Marcel could be petty, it wasn't true. Well not by much at least. With that he would set his face into a facade of indifference as he folded his arms and his brows would furrow just slightly. He would look just slightly unhappy as Virgil would rejoin him on the couch and sit in the corner of the L, oh now he really was going to lay it on. Marcel would not so subtly scoot away from Virgil until he was sitting beside the armrest where he'd place his elbow and rest his chin in the palm of his hand as he watched the movie talk about how dragons had lost some power or something. Once Virgil posed his question the Hispanic wouldn't even look in his direction "It's fine" was his sharp reply as he continued to feign something being wrong. Virgil wanted to dare play games with him? Well he'd double down.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.Virgil knew something was up the moment he noticed the other man moving to create more of a distance between them. Despite the short time they had been together, he had already grown quite addicted to being near him so that was something he quickly took a dislike to. His hard-headed nature just as quickly denied the desire to crawl over to him. He wasn’t going to cave just because he seemed to want to avoid him like he was diseased vermin. His curt response had him blinking a few times and looking away from the screen back to him. His neck wound might be fine, but it didn’t sound like everything was. The tone was generally only used when the person speaking was angry and brushing off the person that was pissed off at. Green gaze studied Marcel carefully, paying attention to what his body language and expression were saying. Needless to say, the translation he picked up on wasn’t a good one. If it was the Hispanic’s plan to make him anxious as ********, it was working. Though there was little change in that stoic façade aside from how he would keep a watch over him out of the corner of an eye. Only when he thought that the other man wasn’t paying any attention to him. His caution over the human’s change in mood might come off as strange, but he was cautious creature when it came to dealing with new s**t. And, as he was under the impression something was genuinely amiss, trying to figure out how to soothe someone’s anger toward him was new. If he didn’t a give a damn about him, it wouldn’t have bothered him at all, but here the poor b*****d was. Metaphorically sweating it. Much like old days, he sought time and comfort in his alcohol while he looked back to the t.v. once again. He couldn’t concentrate on the history lesson the second adult was giving the younger one, how they lost their seat of power in the world thanks to the treachery and greed of a dwarven king. The scene faded to the next morning, where the young dragon was now dressed in gear similar to horse tack along with a harness which had several more humans attached to it. She, of course, protested when she saw another rider punishing their mount for fidgeting and her efforts only had her receiving the same harsh beating. Absent-mindedly, he wiped condensation from the plastic with his thumb. It had crossed his mind that Marcel could only be screwing with him, but the relief the thought was short-live, dying as he remembered it seemed as if he couldn’t handle it as well as he could dish it out. Virgil stretched out his legs and leaned back. If he wasn’t antsy before, he sure as hell was now. ”Ya sure? That everythin’s fine?” It was taking a lot for him to not be a defensive jerk about it and give him the cold shoulder as well. He rubbed at the back of his neck with his free hand. ”If I did somethin’ ya didn’t like m’sorry. Won’t happen again.” The apology would come out in a rush, assuming his earlier teasing was the problem.

Marcel would make sure to keep an eye on the other man as discreetly as possible to see the reaction he got. Just as expected the other man seemed a bit put off and surprised by the way the Hispanic man reacted. But dammit all Virgil, he wasn't supposed to feel bad about this little act! Even if he was genuinely mad there was no way he'd not be able to forgive him after something like that. His eyes to would wander over to the movie before them where the dragon would find solace in her friends after receiving the same beating earlier. Seemingly both of them hated this life that they had and wanted to do something and change it, a smart choice really. Marcel would look a bit contenplative before reaching up and finally removing the the now browning bandage that covered his neck, a finger reaching up to run it along the large scab that was there. Truth be told Marcel hadn't even paid much attention to the wound from the moment he got it from the beach, at least he tried to ignore it as best he could. It still stung like a b***h if he put pressure on it but otherwise the wound would eventually become just another scar to add to his collection. Not exactly one of his proudest scars but still it was just another story for him. He would then glance over and sigh a little bit, he couldn't stand the thought of the other being so anxious over this. It was a bit too mean but yet Marcel wasn't about to let it go completely "Hm alright" he spoke with a thoughtful tone before standing up and looking over at Virgil "Come into the bedroom in five minutes no earlier, no later, if you don't then I'll make sure you go another six months without anything" that "Anything" probably didn't need to be elaborated on for the Werewolf although he was serious about it. He would happily settle on his own hand for six months just to prove that he's serious about such a threat coming true. Marcel would then walk to the bedroom door, still finding it amusing how the Werewolf had managed to punch a hole right through it with just brute strength. He would leave the door partially opened as he flipped on the light and quickly grabbed the leash that was hidden in his drawer before turning his back to the door and bunching the black and pink, cloth leash in his hand so it was hidden at least a little bit. If Virgil did come in on time he would look over his shoulder and smirk at Virgil "Now close your eyes Virgil" of course this whole thing might come off as strange at first but if he did do it then Marcel would approach the man and click the leash onto his collar and give a sharp tug "Such a good, obedient doggy you are" he'd purr out with his cheeks only becoming a bit red as the sight would be almost too much for him.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.Honestly? If Virgil had a clue this wasn’t anything serious, he would admit to preferring to being blue-balled. Physical was far better than mental anything in his book. He couldn’t be blamed for worrying about upsetting him. The other man was good, perhaps too good, at playing a convincing role. Of course, he watched as he removed the bandage from his neck. By the discoloration, it kind of looked as if Marcel hadn’t bothered to change it recently. But he wasn’t going to gripe at him for it since the wound looked like it was healing normally with no sign of infection. The show was abandoned by him now, the Southerner finding it hard to find interest in it no matter how cool he thought the scaled beasts looked. Hard to do much of anything aside from sitting on pins and needles as he waited for some sign that his apology would be accepted or not. Thankfully, he wasn’t left waiting for too much longer. He relaxed somewhat as it appeared he was being forgiven for whatever the ******** it was he’d done. With plans of getting up to do something constructive, he started to move only to grow still again as he listened, soon giving him a look that would suggest he was unimpressed by the threat. Once upon a time, the brute believed he couldn’t possibly live so long without the implied thing but the last year taught him that he very much could. Marcel could do as he pleased, but if he believed that he didn’t have a vindictive streak as well, he was wrong. He’d make sure that every hour of those six months was uncomfortable for him.

With his tormentor no longer in the room with him, he went back to watching the television though it soon ended with the small group of youngsters formulating a plan to free themselves. Previews for the next episode were shown as the credits rolled at the bottom, showing hints of a bloody fight between the dragons and the humans. As the next show began to come on, he pressed the info button on the remote to see to check the time. One minute left, he needed to get moving. Standing, he popped the lid off and downed what was left of the moonshine. The cup would be left on the counter on his way to the bedroom, counting down seconds as he moved. His head tilted to a side as he noticed how the Hispanic was standing after he pushed open the damaged door and stepped in. Virgil did as he was ordered and shut his eyes, curious as to what Marcel’s newest game could possibly be. The hard pull had him inhaling quickly, unprepared for how the motion combined with a very slight weight attached to his collar could make his body tingle so. He let out the held breath with a pant as he tilted his head downward and cracked open an eye. Marcel hadn’t told him he could look, but he couldn’t resist sneaking a peak. ”It’s…pretty…” For some damn reason, simply saying that he liked it was hard for him to do. The thought that his beau had actually put some thought into the purchase by picking out one that would match his collar was an endearing one. ”Is this your way of askin’ if ya can take me for ah walk?” The teasing question was out before he could stop it. So much for being a good doggo. While Virgil wouldn’t mind indulging the dog lover with something like that, but he hoped that his intentions with the leash weren’t completely innocent. His gaze glittered with both mirth and lust as he respectfully raised his eyes to Marcel without moving his head. The sight of the veteran holding onto the leash sealed the final nail in his coffin and was definitely worth any punishment if he was actually reprimanded for opening his eyes. Afraid of giving in to his desire to touch him, he folded his hands behind his back and let out a soft sigh to calm himself.

With an amused noise Marcel would simply release the other man and went back to snuggling with the man he loved. If he was fine then Marcel wouldn't push it, he wasn't going to complain any. He would lay there and shook his head a little bit at the other mans comment "Oh please, you're just saying that because you love me" Marcel stated with an amused smirk as no doubt he was just as biased as the other man when it came to stuff like that. He would finally sigh a bit and pulled himself out of his lovers embrace and sat up, stretching a bit and smirking over at Virgil "As nice as this is, let's continue this on the couch with some leftover pizza. What do you say?" their previous activities has made the Hispanic a bit hungry now that they weren't in the moment anymore. He would clean himself up as best he could with Virgil's abandoned shirt, the thing was already dirty so no hard in making it more so. He would then turn his head and stared at Virgil one more time, appreciating the sight of his lover before putting some shorts on and made his way out to the kitchen. From there he would pull out the pizza box and remove his own slices with jalapeno peppers on them before throwing them in the microwave for a few seconds. He could always heat up the oven to properly reheat the pizza but the Hispanic was too impatient to take the time to do that. Finally once it was done Marcel would take his food out and placed it on the counter, pausing as he remembered that he head bought ingredients to make Bloody Mary's. Now this was something he would take the time to make! He would leave the pizza on the counter while he fetched the ingredients he needed. Some horseradish, hot sauce, tomato juice, and lemons were just a few of the needed ingredients for a good Bloody Mary for him. Although for some extra flavor he would put in his glass a few slices of fresh tomato since his ratios usually favored a bit more vodka than tomato juice. He would take the time to mix everything together and do it properly before thinking for a moment "Virgil! Want a bloody Mary?" he called out to the other man, Marcel was sure that he knew the answer but it didn't hurt to ask none the less.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.”Well, true…I do love ya.” Virgil murred out in an almost contemplative way. His opinion might be biased, but he also believed it wouldn't hurt Marcel to give himself a little more credit. The younger man cut a striking figure, and love had little to do with that thought. There was a little reluctance in his grasp when he felt him pull away, but he let go of him all the same. Honestly, the lycan was comfortable enough to remain where he was until his hunger became too much for him to handle. Though he supposed he could be just as comfortable with Marcel on the couch with some food now rather than later. ”I’ll be there in ah sec… He'd reassure as he stretched out now that he had the bed to himself. After sleeping on the hard ground and shitty cheap motels beds most of his life, he was growing more and more thankful to have a proper bed with each passing day. After a full minute, the laidback male finally did get up and picked up his boxers briefs from the floor before putting them back on. His pajama pants were slipped on as well, but he didn’t bother with finding a clean shirt to wear. Little point to in his mind since he had no plans on venturing out of the apartment unless he absolutely had to. Virgil went to go join him in the kitchen, eyeing the ingredients that were laid out on the counter for the Bloody Mary’s when he was close enough. ”Eh, sure.” He wasn’t a huge fan of them, but he figured that he might as try one. Alcohol was alcohol, after all, and after the drink Marcel had made him the other day he was more willing than he would’ve been otherwise. The Hispanic seemed to know what he was doing when it came to mixing drinks so he would trust that he knew what he was doing in that department…kind of. ”Just…no tomato…” It might not change the taste that much, but the thought of sucking down a piece of tomato was off-putting to him. Of course, he would always act as if vegetables and most fruits were something he was highly allergic to. As a predator, Virgil preferred more protein rich foods, of course. Such as his pizza loaded down with various types of meat. A piece of which he grabbed and began to nibble on despite the fact it had yet to be warmed up. It didn't matter to him, he like cold pizza just as much as he did hot. Maybe it was rude to start without one's companion, but he really didn't consider it to be eating. At most, it was just a little light snacking! With what was left of the piece hanging from his mouth, he went to take Marcel's out for him once the mircowave was done. He'd stick it back in the box before he carried it to the living room, sitting down on the couch with their food on his lap. "Better hurry up before I eat all of it." Virgil joke after polishing off his first slice. The former soldier had little to worry about, he had no desire to eat another peice of his pizza.

Marcel would throw a grin Virgil's way and shook his head a little bit at the other man's request, stopping mid slice to not cut more than he needed for his own drink "You're not even supposed to eat the tomato, it's for flavor!" still though he obliged the other man and didn't cut anymore than was enough for his own drink. He concocted the savory drinks while Virgil made his way to the couch nibbling on his own pizza. Marcel would mix together the Worcestershire, tomato juice, and horseradish all together before then adding in the rest of the ingredients to a blender in the corner. Specially bought for this one and only reason when he first moved in here for when he had bad hangovers. However Marcel rolled his eyes at Virgil's comment and proceeded to pull some celery out from the fridge "Oh please! My pizza has peppers, you couldn't handle it you baby..." he was of course referring to the fact that they were fruit and not meat, of course he was confident either way the other man wouldn't eat them. The Hispanic man would finish the entire mix off with an extremely generous amount of vodka before blending one final time before getting out two tall glasses and filling them with ice. He would then pour the Bloody Mary's into the glasses and placed them on the counter, grabbing a stalk of celery and tomato and sticking it in one drink before pausing at the other stalk and sighed a bit before grabbing both glasses and handed Virgil the glass without anything in it and shook his head as he sat down "Only reason I'm obliging you is because I know you'll waste it!" Marcel would state before grabbing a slice of his warm pizza and took a bite before taking a drink of his Bloody Mary and groaned in approval to the taste, the spicy and savory drink complimented the spiciness of his own pizza rather nicely. He would then reach and place the glass down for a moment before pausing on one channel that was on commercial break before suddenly they were back to playing what they were previously, which unfortunately was one of those war movies and they were met with gunfire and loud explosions. Marcel would blink for a second and his breath would hitch before he quickly changed the channel, stopping on some cooking show and sighed in annoyance "Give a Vet a little warning next time..." he muttered to himself more than anything before grabbing his drink and shifted himself over to lean against Virgil just a bit as he took another bite of his pizza.

Click to show.Virgil found himself chuckling despite being called a baby. ”You’re all th’ spice I need, is all…” He easily dropped as he picked up another piece and took a bigger bit than necessary as if to make a point about being a carnivore. One of these days he knew he would have to eat something more vegetarian-friendly to shut Marcel up, but until then, he was going to enjoy himself. His glass would be taken with a nod of thanks and after some slight adjusting, he set it down on his thigh with a hand over the top to keep it from spilling. ”Ain’t never heard of wastin’ garbage.“ He couldn’t even stand the smell of celery. It was just so gross in his opinion, and he rather glad that Marcel hadn’t bothered with adding it to his drink. He was already skeptical about it and it would’ve turned him off to the whole cocktail otherwise. For the first time since sitting down again, he turned his attention to the television. Virgil was desensitized to such sounds though he still flinched as sounds of wartime violence came, a sympathetic reaction to what his companion suffered with. His expression became concerned as he looked over at him. When it appeared that he wasn’t about to have a breakdown or flashbacks of his own experiences, he relaxed and gently bumped his leg against his in a show of support since his hands were full. ”Always thought they never shoulda touched that subject…” Seeking entertainment at the expense of things real people suffered through seemed wrong to him. Then again, following that logic, it would take away a lot from movies if they completely avoided darker subjects. He blinked somewhat at the channel he stopped on. ”What are ya, seventy?” The older man teased just before eating more of his pizza. He’d always been under the impression that only the elderly or people who had a real passion for food watched cooking shows. It didn’t take him long to lose interest in what the female host was talking about. Making crème Brulee looked like it was more trouble than it was worth. But maybe he was being insensitive about it or, more likely, he was overthinking Marcel’s reasons for putting it on the channel. ”If ya ever wanna improve…I could help…” He would offer softly to the whole cooking thing. He might be paying that much attention to the show, but it didn’t take long for the Southern to become rather annoyed with the lady’s fake country accent. Wiping grease on his pants, Virgil took a risk and picked up the remote to find something. He only flipped it over once before letting it drop, leaving them watching what appeared to be a paranormal investigation show. He relaxed back while the team of men was talking about how the abandoned building was used for demonic worship by some dark cult. A short time ago, he would have laughed his a** off at it. Now though…Virgil was more open-minded. Still, it was dumb how they overreacted to everything little thing.

Marcel's gaze was lowered to the ground as he made sure to collect himself before opening his mouth any further. Thankfully his mind was at least able to discern between gunshots and explosions in real life from the ones in movies, although if he tried forcing himself he would begin to suffer badly for it. Marcel hated this weakness so much, what would happen to him if he ever got shot in real life again? Would he just sit there and take it, frozen and scared like a newborn deer in headlights? He had tried weening himself into more and more violent shows but his mind all but rejected the sounds that he had been so accustomed too during war. Then when holidays came up and fireworks were shot off? He would quite literally hold one of his pillows over his head while having his TV on full blast until it was all over, he hated fireworks especially. The sounds they made at the point of explosion were way to similar to that of a bombs. Marcel would sigh a bit as he placed the pizza down, suddenly losing his appetite now that his mind wouldn't stop racing with a million different thoughts. Thankfully he would listen to Virgil and the big oaf managed to make him smirk just a bit as he nodded his head as he wasn't even paying attention to the woman "What can I say?...I gotta feed this beast somehow..." of course it was the best witty answer he could give the other man at the moment as something so trivial as some gunshots and explosions from a movie were ******** with him so badly. He just needed something that was calming to some degree and the simplicity of a cooking show was good enough. The Veteran might not have had his panic attacks or breakdowns but that s**t still ******** him up quite a bit as pathetic as that might be. Talk about broken goods. Marcel would then turn his head to stare at Virgil for a few moments after he changed the channel and offered a small smile "I love you Virgil" he knew the other man was only talking about cooking but at this moment Marcel would think back to their promises to each other and it made him a bit sentimental. Marcel would lean up just a bit and captured the other mans lips with a soft kiss, almost like their first kiss in the ocean. As long as Virgil was with him the Hispanic could deal with his issues, no matter how bad they might get at times. After breaking the the kiss Marcel would slowly lean back against the couch and grabbed the pizza he put down, knowing that he'd regret not eating later. So with pizza in one hand and a Bloody Mary in the other Marcel would try to relax himself to pay attention to the paranormal show Virgil put on. He never quite used to be a believer in paranormal things or anything of the fantastical but with that damn demon and the fact that his lover was a Werewolf, the Hispanic didn't quite have any room to be a skeptic at this point. He did however find the History of the location quite interesting, even if they were hamming it up for the camera. He kind of wished they would quit yapping about how terrifying the place was and instead explain about how so many people died there and why. Of course he would eventually get his wish, but damn these people liked hearing themselves talk.""

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show. The witty remark was sounded rather flat to his ears. Idiot. Stupid, stupid idiot. Virgil mentally berated himself as he let out a small sigh. Just because things appeared to be okay on the surface didn’t mean that they were underneath. The sounds might not be real, but he didn’t think Marcel was pathetic or weak to still be affected by it. Some things were beyond anyone’s control. What was left of his current slice was crammed into his mouth before he draped his arm over his shoulders, something he felt he should have done immediately after that stupid war movie had come on without warning. ”I love you too, Marcel.” He murmured after he’d managed to chew and swallow his food, a hint of a smile coming to his features just before his lips were claimed. Virgil still meant everything he had told him, a vow that only death would be able to make him break. Even if the younger man grew tired of his presence and no longer wanted him around, he would try his best to remain in his life in some way to be there for him when he needed the support. Once Marcel pulled away, he placed a kiss against the side of his head before he turned his head to watch the show. Finally, they were explaining the history of the building, how it started off as a hospital for injured soldiers during some war over a hundred years ago before it was converted to an asylum for those born with both mental and physical disabilities. And, apparently, the cult had a hand in the building long before it was shut down as one man explained how several nurses and doctors would torture the patients in name of their so-called demon overlord since they believed endless suffering would be better than outright murder and sacrifice. Virgil shook his head when it became known that one doctor would lobotomize any repeat troublemakers with a nail gun of all things and, supposedly, his spirit was still around along with several others and more demonic things. ”Dunno if they’re brave or ********’ stupid for pokin’ around in ah place like that.” He wouldn’t for damn sure. Risk the chance of running into some pissed off ghost of a homicidal maniac or worse? There was a whole list of things he would rather do than go in a place with a history like that.

At long last, he would take a drink of his Bloody Mary to see how it tasted. His nose wrinkled a little as he did, unprepared at first for just how spice-y it would be. But it wasn’t as terrible as the lycan had originally thought though only because he could taste a bit more of the vodka than he could the tomato juice. The vampiric version, where actual blood was used, was better in his opinion- not that he thought it was all that great to begin with, either. An unexpected scream from the television had him coughing mid-sip as some of the liquid went down the wrong pipe. On screen two men scrambled to show one’s back, pushing up his shirt to show not just red whelp but actual scratches with blood slowly oozing out of them. Virgil grimaced somewhat as he cleared his throat and tucked his glass down between his thigh and the arm of the couch so he could grab more pizza. ”Think it was staged?” He asked while they replayed footage seconds before the man had screamed, slowing it down to show a disembodied blurry black hand with fingers that came to needle-like tips reaching out for the guy that had been clawed.

Marcel would watch the show with some level of interest as this was now something that did catch his attention due to his own experiences with something akin to the occult. As they explained Marcel tried to put together what war it could possibly be that they were talking about, however he wasn't much of a history guy so he came up empty. He would see one of them explain about the history some more before going back to the footage of the people poking around in the building. Marcel would chuckle just a little bit as he was finally relaxing a bit more now that his mind was more occupied by something else as well as Virgil's presence and commentary on the idiocy of their actions "Probably both. Some people get their thrills by jumping out of planes, others do it by poking around haunted places" that was Marcel's reasoning for them doing something that was just plain stupid in his opinion. Having now dealt with a real demon you couldn't pay Marcel enough to go poking around in places like that, no point in taking unneeded risks. However the Hispanic watched out of the corner of his eye as Virgil finally took a drink of the Bloody Mary he made, at least he didn't go and spit it out. Marcel would reach over to his own glass with his other hand and used the celery stalk to mix the drink around a little bit before sticking the whole thing into it. He would then take a drink as he heard the man on the TV scream in pain and he would reach over to pat the now coughing Virgil on the back as he turned his head to the man who was lifting his shirt up to reveal scratch marks. Marcel grimaced and shook his head a bit at the sight before contemplating Virgil's question "Hard to say, the cuts are oozing blood so it could be real. But then I doubt the person would actually let them hurt him just for the sake of views..." he thought for a moment as he considered their earlier actions in the show "Then again it could just be convincing make up but at this point in my life, I'll just say anything is possible" while he would admit that he was still skeptical of them and their show, he would no longer say it was a sham unless there was hard evidence to support it. When they slowed down and stopped the footage however Marcel would blink a bit and shiver as he remembered the clawed hands of that ******** creature that was torturing him for so long. But he would relax as he picked up the last slice of his own pizza and nibbled on it as the injured man would temporarily leave while the others continued their investigation "Brave, stupid, or staged. It has to be one of those things..." no way in hell any sane person would continue after what had just happened to that man, then again these people could just be a combination of those things.
