Tristan got out the carriage after it parked outside Castle St. Ivalice, then Tristan opened the carriage door for Kaydel, so she can exit the carriage. Kaydel, this is St. Ivalice, Water Crystal Nation & Capital of Ivalice Island. Do you like it? Tristan said this to his beloved little mermaid. He was quite a gentleman, opening the carriage door for a mermaid turned human girl & she was wearing a blue ballgown. Kaydel, you're really beautiful in ocean blue. I love that about you. Tristan blushed toward her as he saw her getting out of the chocobo carriage, then gave her a kiss. Kaydel, are you ready to enjoy the Full Moon Festival ball, along with a lovely night of dancing with me? Tristan asked Kaydel, his Little Mermaid girlfriend, as he was escorting her inside Castle St. Ivalice and into the castle's ballroom.
After entering in the ballroom, Tristan began to dance with his beloved Little Mermaid Kaydel & saw that she was blushing toward him with a feeling of love. He could tell that this was the happiest night that his new girlfriend is having: Tristan feel in love with the little mermaid Kaydel at first sight, turned her human, helped her, taught her how to dance on human legs & shared a first kiss with her. They were a perfect fit together and they loved each other so much.
