Iki had gone inside to rest on the bed for a while. Her eyes were shut and she opened them only at the sound of Lexander's voice.

"I wonder if we'll have two full sized eggs to carry with us on our trip, Lexander," she said with a smile, "it will be soon."

Finally, it was on the brink of christmas. Lexander had gathered what bags they needed which wasn't much. "Ok Iki. Let's be on our way now. It shouldn't take us very long. Hopefully the eggs hold out till we get there. Just in time for christmas. That's very special."

Iki nodded. The eggs hadn't hatched yet, but they'd arrived. She smiled. Maybe they would hatch at their home. That would be something special, with friends and family all around them. She'd found some very special scarfs and ribbons to wrap them in for warmth and she kept them on a pack so they rested on her breast.

"We're ready."

She was so excited to go home again.
