The droid goes old school by pulling out a revolver and a whip. It dons an old leather hat and smirks as much as a droid can smirk without facial muscles. It cracks the whip at the girl and fires a round.

Esme grabs the whip’s end and tugs. The droid spins and is bound by the whip. Esme smacks the smirk off of the droid and follows through by knocking the gun out of its hand. She smiles sweetly and punches the droid in its midsection.

Esme arms herself with her light saber and deflects the darts back toward the droid. Having no cohesive matter, the darts fall to the ground. The droid eagerly rolls forward but, trips on some of the darts. Esme senses a battle victory and hurls her weapon at the droid, neatly severing the droid’s arm at the bend. She recalls the light saber with the force.

The droid diverts all of its remaining power resources to its chassis shield, knowing that if the girl comes into contact with it, she will surely be disintegrated, if not severely uncomfortable. It pounces, hoping to land on her.

Esme routinely avoids the droid’s chassis and swishes her light saber. She cleanly removes the droid’s other arm. Esme slaps it and the droid’s head spins out of control until it crashes on the floor. She sweeps the trash into a corner under a rug.
