"I need to...... get this thing...... off of my head...... I think it's...... trying to eat me......" Exor poked and prodded at it and tried to pull it away, but it seemed to be getting the better of him.

* walks over to the man and grasps the creature and ushers a small flame to his hand and as it grew bigger the creature let go and he holds it firmly * What manner of creature is this...? I have never seen one in all my centuries.

Exor moaned and sat up, quickly retrieving his glasses from the floor and replacing them to cover his eyes. "I have no idea...... It followed me here, and it seemed harmless enough...... By the gods, though...... I think I now know what it eats......" He rubbed his head and tried to gather his mind and get back into step.

The man growled to himself as he forced himself to stand, though leaning on a nearby table for much needed support. "Uhm... my face...? What's the matter...?" He picked up a glass and looked into the reflection. Damn... The little blighter WAS eating my very life force, he thought. He looked around the bar, seeing faces familiar and new. "Uh, wow... how bout that...?" Exor rubbed at the black streaks on his face, but they wouldn't budge. "Hm. Any better...?"
