"Henrietta, there's a switch on the side of your xtransceiver," Eunmi said. "If you switch it on, it'll global sync with the network and let me see where you are.
"We're gonna come to you guys, and help," she said, unintentionally volunteering Salieri for the quest to hunt down Melty.

Salieri had kept her head out of the conversation when she had heard Wayne's voice. Does he know about his bathroom? Okay girl, pull yourself together. If he doesn't say anything, you should be fine.
So when Emi said "we", Sal remembered that she had volunteered. Wait, she only wanted to find Henrietta, not Melty. That candle thing was creepy, especially to someone with senses like hers.
Sal had always claimed she had a sixth sense, ever since she was a kid. Most people said they didn't believe in ghosts when she said that, but she still claimed that she got the shivers when a ghost was close by. Which is what she thought she might feel if she was trying to track down Melty. Unfortunatley for her, just like how she felt bitterness towards Psychic types, she felt a childlike fear of the Ghost type.
Plus, that pokedex entry was creepy. Won't that thing steal my life energy? Ugh, I hope that isn't true. Please be an urban legend, please be an urban legend...
The battle girl gulped. "Wha? Uh, sure!" Salieri chimed in, poking out her head in front of the screen so she could wave to Henrietta and Wayne. "When you got ghosts in the neighborhood, who you gonna call? Salieri Del Forrest, that's who! Ghost Hunter extraordinaire!"

"Thank you," Henrietta said as she turned the switch thingy to reveal herself to Eunmi's C-Gear. She turned to Wayne, dizzy, and she fell at him in a sort of awkward hug fall.
And promptly, too tired to keep going, fell asleep.

"Ghost Hunter?" Eunmi thought, her brow furrowing. She most definitely did not leave home to get involved with ghosts...
"Alright, Henrietta, are you sure you're feeling up to running around looking for Melty?" Eunmi asked, hoping to have an excuse to avoid chasing down spirits. As she spoke, Henrietta collapsed.
"Damn it," Eunmi sighed. "Please wait for us to get there, I'll take her back to the hotel..."
Eunmi murmured as the xtransceiver would lead them to Wayne and Henrietta's location.

Wayne sighed. Looks like they'd be tracking Melty down without Henrietta. He grunted as she shifted her weight about, picking her up piggy-back style.
"Alright, Solosis," he said to the pokémon, "Guess we're helping her out."
[Dude, it's late! I don't wanna do that!] the pokémon squeaked before rolling off down the hill and stopping at the gatehouse just outside Nacrene. He waited for his trainer and Wayne eventually caught up, Henrietta on his back.
Wayne figured he'd wait here for Eunmi and Salieri.

Blackbird chuckled. "Shashasha, you really have an interesting sense of taste! Very well, I shall play you the tune of the one of my few recipes I have gotten from my travels!"
****
And soon enough, in front of Robby there were two large green leaves each with a heaping amount of fried noodles in them. They were of a golden color, each one less than an inch thick. They were large and crispy, but still slightly flexible. A seasoning was in the noodles themselves, mixed in during the cooking process and created with various tiny flakes of hot yet tangy flavor. Little blue specks dusted on top provided a sort of juicy, fruity flavoring. And there were slices of a green fruit of some kind mixed in as well.
It would all mix together to create a seamless blend of an exotic, spicy and crunchy noodles with enough fruity taste and texture to create the sensation that one was eating the a filling, organic meal.
"I got the recipe for these noodles from a guy in the marketplace up at Driftveil City," Blackbrid said as he sat in front of Robby and passed the obese lad two twigs to use as chopsticks. "They're called Vagrant Noodles. He said he'd traveled all sorts of seas, and that these noodles were his favorite because they were always delicious and you could make them almost anywhere the ingredients were common in so long as you had a fire."
Blackbird picked up his leaf of noodles and held it up to his mouth, producing his own set of pseudo chopsticks. He felt that if he didn't, Robby would eat his noodles too. "Well, I hope you enjoy it!"
****
Damn. That girl just fainted. "Wow, she really does not hold her drink. Like, at all."
While they walked to the gate to reach Henrietta's location, Salieri began to wonder what they'd need to find a ghost. "We're probably going to need some sort of holy item. Like, uh, holy water? Or a cross? But we don't want to kill it, so...hmmm. I don't know, I've never hunted for ghosts before."
She snapped her fingers. "Oh, I know! We just need to trap it in something! Like, a magic jail for ghosts! Think Emi, what's the first thing you think of when you think of a ghost jail?"

"Seals trap ghosts. Ghosts are attracted by death. The phase of the moon increases appearances of ghosts..."
Eunmi shrugged, raising her arms above her head to stretch. The best way to track down Melty would be to try and attract it to them rather than trying to find it, but Eunmi wasn't very well versed in that.
You see, Eunmi's family were Seseummu, practitioners of Muism - or, basically, spirit mediums. But Eunmi didn't like ghosts, nor did she share all of her family's traditions.
"If you see something dying, we could start with that," Eunmi said, a bit morbidly. "I guess we could battle Melty - but holy water might actually work since he's a fire pokemon."
EDIT: To speed things along - the two would arrive at Wayne and Henrietta.
"Sorry if we took a while," Eunmi said.

"Somebody dying? Uh, yeah, didn't you see that giant Torchic in town before? I bet you a lot of people got hurt, we can use them." And then Sal laughed, changing her tone from serious to lighthearted. "Kidding, kidding. That's just something I thought I saw for a second when I was drunk."
The Battle Girl pulled out her pokedex. "While shining a light and pretending to be a guide, it leeches off the life force of any who follow it. Litwick shines a light that absorbs the life energy of people and Pokémon, which becomes the fuel that it burns."
She slowly craned her head to Emi with an ever so slightly disturbed look. "Are we sure we want to be luring him out?" she asked as they arrived in front of Wayne, who had Henrietta slung up on his back.
"So, do you know how to hunt ghosts?" she asked Wayne with a sigh signaling that she was running low on ideas.

"He's Henrietta's Pokemon, I'm sure he can't be that bad," she said, never having actually witnessed Melty's complete wrath. She tossed a Poke Ball out, and D-Vee appeared.
"If anything, D-Vee will at least be immune to Melty's ghost attacks if you find him," Eunmi said, holding her arms out to take Henrietta from Wayne. "We've got a hotel close to here, so I'll take her back.
"Deev, help 'em out, okay?"
Even though Eunmi didn't intend to be a trainer, there was an ulterior reason Eunmi's mother had given her D-Vee. She didn't know how the Pokemon had come into her mother's possession, but all her family members had a normal type pokemon to protect them from spirits. There was more to it than that, but hell if Eunmi knew.
"Maybe he could paint a satanic symbol to lure Melty out," Eunmi joked.
[You're looking for that candle? I'd say good riddance the way it was leering at you earlier,] D-Vee replied to no avail.

Robby looked at the noodles, then the other man's. Unfortunately, they were out of his reach, and the man was right. Robby would have eaten his in an instant, then the man's. He was about to eat them all in a single instant, and then glanced up at the man who'd given it to him. Well... he could... try to be a liiiiittle respectful... With a sigh, the obese lad ate it in four bites instead of a single instant.
Upon fully embracing the taste, he looked up to the man, and seemed to stare up to the sky a moment, judging it. After a moment, he would stand, looking to Blackbird in a completely serious manner. "Sir." His hand would go out, in a fist, allowing space for the other man to bump his fist. "Knucks."

And because the double battle is still not complete ((Seriously, I've only had the chance to write the first round of moves. XD)) and it will most definitely not conclude or start before the time skip to tomorrow...... Luka, having arrived home and had his battle, the result of which nobody would know until the morning in a super cool flashback, he settled down in bed and went off to sleep in his fantastical dreams that unfortunately didn't involve huge super giant Torchics.

"Iron Hide, Protect!" Came Takamaru's hurried command. but it was for Naught because after just using the shielding move Iron was slow to erect the defense, thus he was struck with the attack. you didnt have to be an authority on Pokemon to know that Iron Hide was on his last leg. this knowledge made Tk's Insides squirm. 'Dammit...' through out this entire battle so far Tk's goal had been to win with out letting his pokemon be hurt to much, but he had failed.
"Spike, Sandstorm!!" boomed Tk's small voice. from there Spike ushered a stream of sand from his maw. The sand began Ragging across the field reducing vision by about 65%
Both normal Pokemon would be continuously Injured where as Spike and Iron hide Felt right at home. this Would gauge just how in tune Lenora was with her Pokemon with out them being situated in front of her vision as well as give Iron Hide Cover in order to regain his composure.
But Spike didnt just stop there, directly afterwards he rushed back in towards the Watchog and herdier with a Metal claw attack, his speed doubled with his 'Sand Rush ability'
Shortly afterwards Lairon would commence with 'Dig'. What with Sand storm reducing her Sight Lenora would have no Idea that Iron Hide had tunneled under ground, And with both Normal pokemon being distracted by Spike they too should Be oblivious to this fact.

"Oh,cause he's a Normal type? I got you."
Salieri tossed out her pokeball, and Salem materialized on the spot. She yawned and scratched her ear with her hind leg. "I'd rather not have the life sucked out of my pokemon, thanks. That immunity will come in handy."
The Battle Girl pointed at D-Vee. "D-Vee, right? C'mon, paint something evil." She had taken Eunmi's joke seriously. "Oh, you know what ghosts really love? Little girls! Like in all those movies."
****
Blackbird's eyes opened up, and the amber in them glistened over with some watery tears. Robby was asking....him...for knucks? Over this meal? He almost did not want to stand up so he could let Robby have the high ground the whole time, but he decided that it would be rude not to.
He bowed down as he bumped his knuckles into Robby's. The fist bump could be heard all throughout the forest, it was that epic. "Thank you for the praise!" he almost cried, before suddenly standing up straight again, looking at Robby with no tears and a grin.
"Would you like the recipe? You're supposed to pass it on to each person you feed it to, for good luck!"

((Ha. Cool. I bet Trop that you'd use Dig this next move razz Not that it matters ninja
Also dude, in this RP it's not against the rules for pokémon to have both of their abilities, just as long as they don't have their dream world one. So Spike would be getting a boost from Sand Rush and Sand Force, doubling his Attack as well as his Speed. That is, unless you only want Spike to have one Ability))
Even when the visibility dropped, Lenora was still able to keep track of her pokémon; the yellow rings around Watchog's body began to shine a bright light, its Illuminate Ability coming into play and casting a yellow glow amidst the Sandstorm.
At the same time, the Sandstorm wouldn't prevent any of the challenger pokémon's moves from going undetected. Watchog's Keen Eye Ability meant that it couldn't lose accuracy from tactics like this. They knew Spike was launching himself forward. And they'd know of Iron Hide's Dig as well.
"Evade," Lenora commanded.
And Herdier's Sand Rush ability finally saw action as he kicked sideways and allowed Spike's Metal Claw to stab into the ground. Since Watchog was still gripping tightly from the end of the last post, he was carried along as well. Sand Rush also made the normal type pokémon immune to Sandstorm, so the only pokémon who'd be getting the marginal damage would be Watchog.
"Tactic 90."
As they sped sideways, Watchog now on Herdier's back like a surfer on a surfboard, the gym pokémon made their moves. Herdier utilised Sunny Day, shooting a blinding ball of light from his mouth to the air.
Sunny Day would immediately end the Sandstorm, get rid of Spike's boosts and slow Herdier, who was still running, down. Then Watchog spotted where Iron Hide would emerge from with his Keen Eye and timed it so that when the pokémon came out, he'd be getting a flash of Focus Blast to the face.
The chance of this happening increased immensely when you took into account that Sunny Day was a miniature sun in terms of brightness. Except it was around the same size as a basketball when we only perceive the sun to be as small as a pea.
Or in other words, when Iron Hide came out of the ground, he'd be looking upward and thus directly into Sunny Day, which would probably rob him of his sight for long enough to be struck by Focus Blast.
In terms of positioning, if Spike hadn't moved after missing his attack, then he'd be on the exact opposite of side of an imaginary circle drawn around Iron Hide's exposure point with a decent-sized radius. So like, the fastest way to Watchog and Herdier would be through his own teammate. Assuming he hadn't moved anyway.
Lenora took the time to speak in the authorative tone of a teacher, "It's not my teamwork that's being tested here, young man. It's yours."
***
"Actually," Wayne said, a look of enlightenment crossing his face, "I think I just thought of something. I think."
He shifted Henrietta over and reached into his pocket, retrieving another pokéball. "We should go into the city first. That pokémon seems pretty clingy so I doubt he'd go off into the routes on his own."
Solosis stared at the pokéball. Was that Petilil? He looked away and sighed. Guess he wasn't needed after all...
