{{I'm pretty sure he's been around since then. That "romantic weekend" you're referring to actually happened -before- she gave him the key. Some time afterward he moved in and had used the key a few times to go straight to her quarters after getting off duty instead of socializing in the bar. I seem to recall something about him lugging her off in a fireman's carry back to her room, and I'm pretty sure that happened some time after Valentine's.
And no.. I didn't change the channel. Soap operas have murder mysteries in them too sometimes, don't they?}}

Seems like this place is getting busier and busier. Well *takes a long drink of his scotch.*…I'm going to go see if Katana's in her room. Excuse me a second, Sir. *goes into Psyzapp's office and through the secret entrance, down the hall to Katana's room, he pulls out his key and opens the door.* Hello…hey Katana. *He sees Katana and some guy he doesn't know and based upon the looks of things, he figures out what has happened here. Without saying a word he just turns around and walks out to give Katana her privacy. He heads upstairs again and heads out the door.* See you later, Sir.

{{I don't either, dame. But it seems one of the cliché things that people parody from soap operas is that someone dies and then somehow they're magically alive or something like that. There's some kind of soap opera magazine by the check out at the grocery store that almost always saying something about either some guy mysteriously disappearing or mysteriously reappearing just in time to catch an affair or some nonsense.

Exor cocked his head as the officer departed. How many damn cops... He noticed Katana's sudden drop in enthusiasm and sat down next to her, concerned, "What is it, love...?" What was that all about...? Bah, I'd rather not get into it with anybody today, but gods help them if it comes to it...

*she sighs and turns to Exor* Do you remember the night at Kathy's? When I was speaking about my absent bodyguard? Well, that was him. Of course, I suppose that won't be happening anymore.
To make a long story short.....Icy is a bounty hunter. She went out one night, and came back here wounded. The next thing we knew, those goons were up in the bar, shooting up the place. So, Dougherty and Showcase are here for our protection. But, Showcase and I developed a relationship of sorts. However, he's been gone for weeks, I haven't had any contact with him whatsoever, and I had no idea of what was going on...if he was on assignment or if he had just up and left me.
*she turns away from Exor and sighs again* It's probably for the best......this isn't called MW for nothing. We have ties to certain.....people.....that didn't appreciate cops being here all the time anyways. Psyzapp is covering her relationship up with "the boss" and I've been brought in to take over for her so she can focus on the expansion.
