A soft nod came from Hoshi as she listened to what her sister had to say. "Hmm. Well perhaps the UHV attacked the again and this time wiped them out. Not to be a pessimist or anything, just a possibility since they can't work together. From what I've heard of Kiri they can be withdrawn people. Give them time sis. Perhaps they'll become a useful ally in the effort to take out the UHV." She'd smile softly and look over at Tenchi as he took some of her hair in his hands. "Be careful little one. Don't wanna hurt your aunty." She'd giggle softly for the first time in a long time and hug the child gently. After she said this her attention turned to Daichi and Noriko, their little back and forth making her giggle some more. "Guess I'm gonna have to do a lot of training if I'm gonna be any use in fighting those UHV." She would say to her sister as she watched Daichi and Noriko.
James walked gently into the office, lightly easing open the door and moving to his spot on the couch. James had sat in that spot for his entire adult life, and he wasn't going to give it up until he died.
"Kiri is going to be about as useful as a s**t flavored lollipop", James said with a huff as Kier flopped down near his feet.
James then looked at the children in the room and made a silent shrug.

Hoshi shrugged gently and watched as James walked into the room. She'd step off to the side and continue to hold Tenchi. "Oh no you didn't hurt me sweetie. I was just making sure you didn't." She would say to the child with a smile as she held him a little closer. She personally felt like she should leave the room but, she wasn't quite sure so she sat there for a moment just holding Tenchi.
James gave Ayame a nod, visibly relaxing into his spot on the couch. "Oh ok," he said easily he closed his eyes and leaned back slightly more as he spoke, "The Kiri ninja have no idea how warfare works, and somehow expect that we are going to politely ask the UHV to surrender when we..." James would suddenly stiffen, eyes snapping open and his weight coming forward.

Ayame laughed to the point where her sides hurt. James was always one to make her laugh. Especially when he was flustered. Noriko gave a whimper at James's loud voice and Daichi would shake his head at James then curl his tail around the small girl for comfort. Our son was not careful and Asami was pregnant with these two then some rainbow chakra picked her up and spit her out with them in her arms. So there ya go.She said smiling and watching Hoshi with Tenchi. The boy was absolutely fascinated by his Aunt and was calling her star.

Hoshi giggled softly as she listened to James's response to hearing that he had grand kids. However, her attention would be turned towards Tenchi as he sat there calling her Star. It seemed that the child had given her her first nickname. It wasn't much of a nickname since it was the literal meaning of her name but, she didn't mind if the child called her it. Hoshi would slowly walk over to a chair in the room and sit down, setting Tenchi in her lap. She would then smile softly as she relaxed against the chair. "Ever close your eyes. Ever stop and listen. Ever feel alive and you've nothing missing. You don't need a reason, let the day go on and on." Hoshi would sing softly under her breath as she relaxed, listening to her sister explaining the children.
To those with sensitive hearing the clicking and clattering of bones would punctuate the arrival of Ayame's assassin as he landed onto the balcony from yet another rooftop. Rolling into the landing, the cloak of bones he wore around his waist still clattering, he hopped to his feet and strolled up to the window of the office and stuck his head inside,"Hello Milady. Heya Daichi, big guy, ....." He blinked for a moment at the girl he did not know and after a moment smiled,"Snow." Placing his arms on the window he smiled at the grouping.

Ayame looked over at the window and raised and eyebrow at Nariomi. She could hear him coming from a mile away. Nari you do realize that having that cloak will make you more noticeable and not much of an assassin? She said looking at her sister for her reaction on Nari calling her snow. Daichi just gave a chuckle at Ayame's words and wrapped his tail around Noriko. Ayame gave James a look wondering if he was too shocked to say anything.

Hoshi's singing stopped as soon as she noticed the man sitting at the window of the office. Her eyes narrowed when she heard the man calling her by Snow. At first she remained silent as her sister spoke to the man. He was familiar. 'It's the person that was sent to retrieve that kid and me to bring us to Ayame.' She would think to herself. At that time she didn't know his name but, now she did. "What a surprise. The person that couldn't even get me to my sister in a timely manner can't even be sneaky when they're supposed to be an assassin. Not only that but, can't even remember who I am. You could have just asked my name, rather than show your ignorance and make a fool of yourself." She would simply say before looking back down at Tenchi and giving him a kiss on the forehead.
James looked at Ayame for a moment in a large sense of wonder, what in the world had gone on while he was at Kiri.
"So...what are my two grandchildrens names? Is Theodin around and who exactly is AsamI?"
James would have said something about the new arrival, but he had enough on his plate to deal with the two new surprise additional members of the family.
The young man simply laughed a bit,"True however I am not trying to be sneaky Milady, none here pose a threat to you. Besides I am sure Daichi would beat me to the punch so to speak if they did." Turning to snow he smirked,"Oh young child you have much to learn. Had I the desire to be silent then none of you, not even Daichi would be able to detect me. Yet as I said, I have no desire to be at the moment. As for forgetting you name, we were never introduced and I have honestly no desire to learn it given your manners at the moment. Behaving in such a manner is unsightly and unwise." Turning his attention to Ayame he questioned,"Milady may I instruct her in the error of her ways?"

Ayame answered James first Asami or Kaiju as she was first known. You treated her for dehydration and such when she first arrived. The boy is Tenchi the little girl over there is Noriko, she hasn't left Daichi's side since Asami left. Ayame said giving a smile. She would then look at Nari and shake her head, Nari my sister is in the right actually. You were told to get my sister and Kohaku and yet never delivered them to me before I left. Her name is Hoshi by the way, and of you're going to teach him a lesson Hoshi please hand me my grandson. In all actuality I wouldn't try it as Nari is two higher ranks than you. Ayame would say sitting back in her chair. I love the faith you have in Daichi and me Nari. We can hear things for miles hun we'd still hear ya.
