*takes a few stitches out and they look good, so she takes out the rest and removes cone and draws a warm antiseptic bath and gently massages off the dried green grunny-stuff that looks like blood, before wrapping in a towel and drying. puts some teat tree and aloe on fading scars*

It might have something to do with the idea that grunnies don't make very good pets. They have been known to occasionally turn people into zombies.
