He sees that I have been content running the bar. I'm not sure and he hasn't said anything, but Paulie wants to see that I'm taken care of in every way. There is this Italian man that's showing a keen interest in me. The only reason I have not told Paulie about you is because you are a Cop. I don't know what he'd do and it could be fatal! You don't just walk up to a mob boss and say, "Oh by the way, I'm in love with a Police Officer. I hope that isn't a problem."
And for you too. What are you going to do if the time comes where people besides Officer Showcase find out about me? At least your life wouldn't be in danger because if it.

Who is this other guy that's showing interest in you? I obviously have access and could look up his records to see if there is somethin there, anything that could put him away for a very long time. That could at least take him out of the picture. It would be a start, at least.

His name is Anthony Fontana. *She sips her latte and contemplates as well.* William…I have an idea about this situation that may work. I'm having Leko work on erasing memories in a human. In theory, she would basically erase me from Paulie's mind and I would then be a complete stranger to him. He would have no recollection of me whatsoever. If it would work…I would be free.

OK ... Anthony Fontana. *pulls out his Blackberry and types in the name. Then his eyebrows furrow* Memory erasures? I'm not familiar with that at all, but the mind is a tricky thing. Not something a novice should be dealing with. Something else to consider in that area would be all of Paulie's henchmen. I'm sure you've dealt some of them as well. Just something to consider there.
