Although Hikari could have left at this point in time, she was not done here. "U-um..." [Text] Vincent listened to the mission report given. He lacked knowledge of the Saiketsu clan primarily because he and his family were foreigners to begin with. One of the three had gone missing on the mission, Vincent found this troubling but chose not to speak up out of turn. When the kazekage turned to him and spoke he merely replied "Yes Lord Kazekage" bowing politely to the lord of the sand. Vincent would need to learn more about the politics and clans of the area, the Eld family taught him of a few, primarily those other clans that had ancient connections to the senju. Vincent would one day become head of the Elds simply by possessing the mokuton, but for now he would keep this as secret as he could, for the one thing he was taught was that he may become a target should anyone learn of his abilities. Raising his head he looked the kazekage in the eyes "Is there anything you wish of me?" He spoke in a polite tone.

Bast strolled into the Kazekage's Office with a yawn. Her back hurt from sitting outside for so long, and her tea had long since run out. She had a golem making more back at her place, but given the time that had elapsed since she last came to see this building, she was starting to feel a bit estranged from it. On the way in, she waved to the secretary and then headed upstairs. She leaned against the wall out in the corridor to wait for the Office to clear out some, but knowing her successor would likely sniff her out immediately.

Hikari said nothing as she was dismissed from the room. Rather, she nodded, bowed and left an earth clone outside the office as the newly promoted chuunin exited the building. There was much training to do, but there was also an errand to run first.

As people started filing out of the Office, Daichi came out and nuzzled Bast. She responded by patting him on the head, greeting him, and then stepping inside the Office. It had been a while since she had last seen Ayame, and the sight of her successor doing so well was certainly a good one, but Bast was here on business. She approached the desk, bowed slightly, and began to speak:
"Lady Ayame," she opened formally, "it seems I interrupted something, so I will be brief. Given the recent booms and busts in Takumi, I would like to investigate the economic climate there and try to stabilize it as best I can. Additionally, I would like to purchase materials for the creation of a special workshop for our village, so that we might have some extra insulation against the economies of our neighbors. If there are no objections, I would leave at once."
There was a slight buzzing in the woman's ear as some ANBU chatter came in over the radio.
"Additionally, it appears that someone has decided to grace our Gates with their presence, though we know not who. It appears to be a man and his two children. They profess to have been ambushed and have been wandering through the desert for a while. Medical attention appears to be needed. I can address the situation on my way out, if you would like."
The woman, clad in white robes hemmed with royal blue, stood before the Kazekage expectantly.

Daichi followed Bast into the office and sat beside Ayame. Ayame would give a smile to Bast. It was still way weird to have THE Lady Bast bowing at her and asking her permission. At least she asked unlike Sanshi, who Ayame wanted to pummel a lot of the times. I don't see any issue with you going to Takumi. Keep an eye out for Koneko she went on a mission with the two females that were in here before you and did not return with them. I'm hoping she's still alive, but that has yet to be seen. Those two didn't go back and try to find her either so something will be said about that. Ayame gave a short pause to go through and find Koneko's file. She grabbed the picture and handed it to Bast. As far as the gates yes check it out and radio back to me your thoughts on the situation and what you think would be the best course of action. I don't trust random people just walking up to our gates. Injured or not it could be a ploy. She would give a sigh, and remain standing, Is there anything else you will need before you leave?

Bast nodded and stared at the picture, looking for any particularly noticeable identifying features. Aside from looking distinctly like a teenager and seeming to lack a frame suited for combat, not much stood out.
"I'll keep an eye out," the woman assured Ayame, scanning the picture one more time before slipping it back into the file. "That's all I can think of right now. If you need me for any reason, you can always summon me. Now, if you'll excuse me, there are some potential corpses awaiting me at the Gates."
So saying, the ex-Kazekage bowed again and strolled out, tapping the clone outside the Office as she went.

As Tenshi and Noriko could be heard through the hallways screaming with joy there was an additional voice. It didn't take long for the three of them to get to the office. An iron samurai entered with two children clinging to him. "I was created to watch after these kids. They're driving me insane even as Asami's mission is going well. Could... could I get your help?" The samurai asked kindly of the Kazekage.

The iron samurai sighed as his metallic voice filled the air. "Her mission is going well. She just made contact with the creatures that your husband wanted." He said as he stood tall near the doorway. Noriko was getting more charismatic and energetic than normal. Perhaps because of her brother's influence. "Mind if I ask how you're going to get her and Theo in the same room?" The samurai tried asking to pass time.

Ayame sighed and looked at her granddaughter then her grandson, Everyone assumes James and I are married, but we are not. He is my mate, a more powerful bond than some metal around a finger. As for my son and Asami it won't be up to them. If the children wish it then I would hope they would both do what is right for their kids. If not I'll knock them out and do it myself. Ayame said nuzzling Noriko.
