Eunmi turned away and leaned over to look through her bag. A second later, she turned back and sat on the edge of the bed. A flash of metal would be seen in her hands, and as she leaned over Henrietta, she flicked the pocket knife she owned open. She cut the thin, but strong threads, quickly freeing the girl.
"For once, can't you at least try to stay out of trouble?" Eunmi asked, still leaning over the girl a bit.

With her hands free, she'd bring them from the headboard toward herself. Along the way her shoulders would brush, accidentally, against Eunmi's arm. Henrietta didn't seem to notice, not until she saw her hands, a little too high.
They stopped, aligned with Eunmi's head and then she drew them to herself, brushing the other girl's cheeks as she went and Henrietta felt the blood in her face, the closeness, the body heat between them. The warmth from Eunmi's shower. She found her eyes on Eunmi's face, the shape of her eyes, the curve of her mouth, her lips, her-
What am I thinking!?
"I-i'll t-try!" She broke herself away from her thoughts and locked her eyes with the other girls. She didn't look uncomfortable this time, however, just embarrassed.

Despite being asian, it wasn't odd-looking when Eunmi's eyes widened a bit - instead, they just seemed to brighten, even through red colored contacts, but she quickly drew away from Henrietta, and so did the light that seemed to flash in her eyes.
"You better," she said harshly, brows furrowed again. She stood up, tossing her closed pocket knife in her bag.
"I'm going to go get breakfast," she said and left, her cheeks tinged a rose color.

"O-o-okay," Henrietta said as she watched Eunmi go. Soon after Eunmi left Henrietta felt the butterflies subside and she rolled over onto her side.
That was weird.
Do you like her?
As a friend.
Really? Friends make you feel like that?
I wouldn't know.
Does Wayne?
No...
So you like her.
I... hardly know her.
And yet look at you.
Henrietta realized then how hot her cheeks felt, her body felt. How relaxed she'd been laying there and how relaxed she'd felt now. Embarrassed but not tense, not uncomfortable.
Would you have stopped her if she'd tried something?
Yes.
Really?
...
Henrietta climbed out of bed, grabbed her bag and took a shower. It was cold.

[Are you mad?] D-Vee asked. The teenager had let her Pokemon out to pick what they wanted for food.
[Bounce bounce bounce!] Mondrian said hopping back and forth between Eunmi's feet.
"Just point to what you want," Eunmi urged, looking more and more annoyed with each bounce of the Cottonee.
[O-okay,] D-Vee said, catching the cotton ball pokemon in both hands and holding it still while it tried to wriggle free. [You're acting like that time Sam stood you up on a date for that game release.]
"What do you want to eat?" Eunmi demanded.
[P-pancakes..!] D-Vee stammered, pointing to the picture on the menu, accidentally freeing Mondrian, who then poofed cotton spores in his face.
* * * * *
Eunmi walked back to the hotel room, delicately balancing two coffee cups in one hand, carrying a plastic bag in the other. D-Vee trotted behind her, careful to keep about a yard between them in the event that Eunmi yelled at him again.
"Hey, open the door," Eunmi said loudly, annoyed, and somewhat bossy.

Whoa! She'd gotten back faster then Henrietta had anticipated. She had planned to make her wait, just long enough for Henrietta to change back but then- "Hey, open the door." Henrietta turned to the door and felt the familiar feeling in her stomach. Why does that keep happening? The answer is obvious. Shut up..And so, Henrietta opened the door, dressed up. She looked at Eunmi and then cast her eyes off to the side. "W-welcome back," she said.

Eunmi gave Henrietta a quick glance before walking past her and setting everything down.
"What are you all dressed up for? More 'training' with Wayne?" Eunmi said.

Something about her tone was off. Henrietta stared at Eunmi as if she could discern how she felt for the girl. Training with Wayne? She'd said it like it was something bad, or that's how Henrietta felt.
"Emi," she said and she approached the other girl and looked her in the face, searching for something. "A-are you okay?"

"Yeah," she lied. She rubbed the back of her neck, exposed only because her hair was up.
"Stop fretting over something stupid," Eunmi thought to herself. "You have to focus on the tournament..."
"I'm just nervous," Eunmi said.

"You look tense," Henrietta said. Henrietta built up her confidence in that moment and said, "I can give you a back massage if you want." She felt the blood in her cheeks and she willed herself not to stutter.
"If that'll help. I can't do anything without you, so I want to support you."

((Ah, Eunmi can be tsundere.))
"D-don't say such strange things," Eunmi said, cheeks flushing.
"Besides, I'm not ...tense." She looked over to Henrietta. "Just stay out of trouble, and I let me focus on the tournament, and things will be fine."
The teenager fished out an item ball from her bag, and inside, another bag appeared, where she would begin rummaging through it.

"R-right," Henrietta said and she moved to the edge of the bed and grabbed her bag. She looked over at Eunmi then and decided to wait until later to finish changing.
"E-emi," she said as she turned to look at her, pulling her legs up onto the bed as she did. "Please don't get hurt."

Eunmi had retrieved what she was looking for - a pair of what looked like they could be leggings, maybe, if it hadn't been for the harder material attached to them. She sat down on the bed and kicked off her shoes to slide them on, black and white shin guards.
"I-" Eunmi glanced at Henrietta, noticing the girl's dress was exposing more of her legs than they should, and quickly looked away.
"I'm not going to get hurt," she said. "...I'm more capable than I look."
And Eunmi looked like a small asian fashionista more concerned with the color of her nails than any sort of fighter. Oh ho ho, how wrong appearances could be.

"I'll be rooting for you," Henrietta said.
As the morning had gone by the color had slowly, but surely, returned to her skin. She'd recovered from having her life force sapped and looked pretty normal now.
She wore a soft smile in the form of a slight curl of her lips.
Be casual. How to be casual. Er...
"I would have w-worn a cheerleader outfit, b-but this is the best I have, s-sorry if it's not p-preppy enough," she said as she brought her hands up, trying her best to make a joke.

Eunmi's brow raised at the 'joke'. Had she been in a better mood, a comment like that would have sounded like a challenge to the girl who wanted to be a fashion designer. She would have hopped up and had Henrietta try on some of her clothes, but instead, feeling awkward the whole morning, Eunmi just gave a slight nod at the girl.
"Just don't slip and fall in that," Eunmi warned, smiling lightly.
