Theodin entered the tower where his mother’s office was, like he had so many times before, and waved to the secretary as he headed up the stairs. As he walked through the halls and up the stairs through the floors of the building, he tried to put together how he was going to explain everything to his mother, including the part of him returning without San. As he reached the office, he saw the door was open and walked on in, noticing his mom holding something. As he got closer, he gave Ayame a quick wave, growing slightly confused when he noticed it was a little girl that his mother was holding and he noticed another child, a boy, asleep on the couch. He then saw a samurai looking figure standing slightly behind him at this point, giving it a quick nod before speaking, "Uhhhhm......what's with the cubs?" he'd ask quickly to the room in general.

The iron samurai held his tongue for a bit as Theo entered the room. At this time he didn't know whether or not to tell Theo himself. But when Theo asked about the cubs it was clear that it would be best if Asami's conscious answered his question. The iron clone had a minutes to think about everything then sighed with the normal metallic edge to its voice. The samurai then spoke. "The cubs are yours and Asami's." It said to him and waited for him to let the information sink in before anything else.

Theo heard the samurai speak and turned quickly, noting the metallic edge to his voice giving it away as an iron sand clone. Then what was said hit him and his mind started running wild. Stumbling over his words a little as he looked at the two children, “Mine…..and Asami’s? But I don’t know anyone by that name…..” The two kids definitely had the trademark white hair of the Hatake clan, then he caught the little girl’s, apparently his daughter’s eye and saw the bright gold iris and the truth hit him like a ton of bricks…Dropping his staff, he felt his knees getting weak as all energy resources were going to his brain to sort things out, so he sat down on the couch, elbows on his knees and head in his hands, next to his sleeping son. He muttered one word “Kaiju….” Before looking back at the samurai “That would mean….that night after the attack…….damn, she must be royally pissed at me.”

The iron samurai grunted and began to think of what to say to Theodin. Nothing came to mind at first until the iron clone felt a pull. "Perhaps you two should talk directly?" He suggested to Theodin before he finally dispersed into a puddle of sand. Asami entered to office as the door was already open and Tenshi and Noriko's eyes went wide. "Mommy!" Both of them shouted as they rushed towards her. A smile lit up on her face as she kneeled down to pick the both of them up. "How are my little angels?" She asked of them kissing both of their foreheads.
"Mommy you stink." Tenshi said holding his nose and Asami laughed a bit. "It's because I'm covered in sweat. Happens when you're in the desert for a bit Tenshi." She spoke as she kissed his forehead again before letting the both of them down. "Did you drive Grandma Ayame mad?" She asked as she looked up walking to the desk to report in. Seeing another Hatake in the room she shook her head as they were practically sprouting up like mushrooms at this point. "Lady Kazekage the mission that James sent me on is finished. His creatures are being handled by the anbu currently trying to find a spot for them. I'm going to take my kids to the residence and begin looking for houses later." She spoke as she was about to leave until Noriko said something.
"But mommy what about daddy? What's he going to do here?" She asked and Asami stopped in her tracks. Her skin turned even paler as she turned to see the Hatake man before her. Could it be Theo? He had changed so much in such a short amount of time. Gathering her courage she was afraid he'd be upset with her for some foolish reason. "Theo? When suddenly the clone crumbled, Theo kind of spaced out for a second, thinking of what he’d say to Asami. When she walked in, he smiled slightly as the kids both got up excitedly and ran to her. He looked up, she looked different, but still as beautiful as the last time he’d seen her. As she heard her report in, he chuckled slightly ‘Dad sent her hunting, eh?’ and when he heard his daughter ask Asami about him, he couldn’t help but smile. Seeing her turn pale as snow he stood, pulling his staff to his hand with a quick burst of wind. “Hey…Asami… much prettier name than what they were calling you before, I must say.” He chuckled, smiling slightly as he walked toward her, reaching out and stroking his daughter’s hair, “Daddy’s gotta report in to Grandma Ayame for the mission he’s been on. That’s why I haven’t been around, honey.” He then looked Asami square in the eye, “Which I really am sorry for, Asami, the kids are beautiful. I wish I could have been here for them, and you, from the beginning.” He pulled the string out of his hair, shaking his hair loose and running his hand through it quickly. “So how’ve you been?”

Licking her lips she didn't know what to say to the man whose children she gave birth to. Taking in a slow breath and letting it out she looked deeply into his eyes. Not sure of what he was going to do either. This brought fear to her heart as she hated being lost in the unknown. Then finally she sighed heavily and took off her helmet. Scratching her head she answered his question after a few minutes.
"As of right now I'm alright. Could do with a shower." She answered honestly as she looked to her kids. Both the Shy Noriko and the Charismatic Tenshi were paying attention as if this were the most important thing of their lives. "We need to talk later. Firstly about what to name the kids and... What happens between us." She spoke as there were a lot of traditions from her family that needed to be discussed.

Theo watched Asami as she sorts of fidgeted, he could tell she was nervous talking to him, though he wasn't sure why. He then got the feeling they were being watched intently and glanced down to see their kids staring up at them as if this was the most important event in the world. He then went back to staring into Asami's eyes, listening as she spoke, nodding when she had finished and giving her a soft smile. "Yea, we definitely have a lot to talk about. How about this: go take a shower," a clone of Theodin would then appear next to him, behind the children, " my clone can watch the kids so you can relax, then once I'm done with my report, I'll come by the house and we can go to the tea shop and discuss what we need to." He'd then turn to his two children and kneel down to give them both a hug, "You two be good for mommy and my clone, ok?" He said giving them a big smile, it would take some getting used to, but he couldn't help but be happy to be a father, even if it was the last thing he had expected to come home to.

When they are up to speaking I will talk with the father to gather some more information. Request to head to Konoha is granted as well as Takumi. Remove your masks before doing so, so as not to frighten the children, they have been through enough. When he heard Ayame welcome him home, Theo stood back up and turned to face her, “Thanks, mom.” He said smiling, then stepped forward towards her desk, “Alright, well, I managed to find where the armor that the UHV wear is made, and it’s route through their territory to a large stockpile at the Shinjiro Factory in Sasagi City. Apparently it’s produced in their smaller military compounds in the minor hidden villages, and shipped through Otogakure to Sasagi City. The factory also appears to be the major supplier for many of their weapons, I spoke to a man in charge there under the guise of an arms dealer looking for new contacts and saw some of the senbon launchers the UHV army used on us during the attack being built. Ayame would listen to Theodin's report then nod as he left. She had no idea how things would go with Asami, but she hoped the girl had a good head on her shoulders. If not Ayame might have to show a little teeth. Soon after she was left in the office by herself she got out of the chair and went over to Daichi. She got down on the floor with him and he curled his large body around her. It was a small moment of vulnerability as she curled her fingers into his soft fur and buried her face within it. He'd always been a comfort to her. The first member of her pack, and one of the most loyal. After everything they had been through in the beginning he still trusted her enough to be her partner. He still trusted her enough to fight beside her and put his life in her hands and her's in his. As she thought this, Daichi whined. Ayame would smile and look into his eyes. His face hadn't changed much since they'd been partners. Except for the fact that at the beginning you couldn't see his teeth through his lip and both of his eyes had once been that extremely bright green. She gave him a scratch under his chin and snuggled right back into his fur. Wish things could stay this safe and happy. Daichi would give a smile and nuzzle into her cheek, If only it were that easy to keep a pack this size happy and safe at all times. Won't stop us from trying though. Ayame would laugh and nod. No, no it won't.

James slipped into his lovers office with a lot on his mind, and it was nothing unusual that he would find as many new questions in the Kazekage's office as he would answers. He found Ayame in the floor, sitting and cuddling up with Daichi, and seeming to let herself soften for a little bit.
James saw the moment as a good thing. Training and the responsibilities of leadership had given the mother of his child a hard edge lately, and James was glad to see that the gentle soul she had carried when they first met still had a bit of life.
