Hmm, tell your boyfriend to get better info on low dose birth control pills. HE could go to Planned Parenthood to get reliable information. No matter how low is the dose you take (I take low dose too, since I take the pill for heavy periods so I won't get anemia), you won't get preggers.

I looked more on the pill you take (you mentioned on an earlier post), and is a combined pill. The first hormone (estrogen) prevents ovulation, and the other one, progestin, will increase your uterus lining; this will prevent fertilization and even implantation (if the uterus has too much lining, it cannot fertilize eggs, or implant an egg) . The low dose your pill has is to prevent other side effects, like acne, morning sickness, weight gain. You cannot get preggers if you take the pill everyday at the same time.

The best way to prevent this kind of misinformation is to get educated on how BC pills properly works. This information I just gave you, you can look for it on a book, Planned Parenthood, or any other reliable source.

That's the main purpose of the pill; to prevent pregnancies. Find more info on how it really works and show it to your boyfriend. You can also take him to Planned Parenthood to be better informed on how BC pills really work.

Very important:

When the pill was developed in the early 60's, those early pills had too much hormones and caused serious side effects. These days, the high dose hormones are mostly for menopause women. Low dose are for young women, so they don't develop the side effects I already told you.
