It seemed like an eternity, just her and Nari. For a moment she had forgotten about why she was here and the UHV and the war and it all, all of the issues and problems she had. It was just them, and the sunset, and this kiss. Sonyo was slowly able to work out exactly what she was supposed to be doing and she quickly got better. Then it was over as Sonyo almost reluctantly pulled back, taking a few deep breaths before even attempting to speak. "I-I.." She took a moment to gather her thoughts, "I've... He was a bit shy about admitting it but eh it was Sonyo he felt like he could tell her anything. Brushing a bit of hair from his face he smiled before returning his hand to her cheek. After a moment he chuckled softly,"I know I have said it before but you are the most beautiful woman I have ever seen." Sonyo's heart slowly began to calm down and she nuzzled in to Nari's hand, unable to meet his eyes. She stuttered for a bit before she could reply to Nari, "Y-You're really beautiful too... Now it was Nari's turn to blush as she called him elegant then compared him to a hawk. It kinda made sense considering he did wear hawk feathers in his hair. He couldnt resist this time without an ounce of hesitation he pressed his lips to hers quickly kissing her once more before he smiled,"Give it time and you will have the same level of control love." Rising to his feet he smiled holding his hand out for her,"Its getting pretty late. Ill show you how to get to the house." Truth be told they were literally standing directly over his apartment. Not top floor but the one under it, the top was for the kazekage though she never used it.

For a second Sonyo was confused, what did Nari mean by that? And then it came to her, she had agreed to live with him since she didn't have a place of her own and needed somewhere to stay. Now she'd be staying with the guy she just kissed and somehow that was harder to swallow than staying with a complete stranger who was a trained assassin who could kill her in her sleep without knowing. She would have to look in to why that was harder when she had some time to sit down and think about everything that had happened. Sonyo cleared her throat, "R-Right.... sorry I uh... Once she had rose to her feet he lead her to the stairwell and showed her the little trick of jiggling the handle to get it to open before he descended past the top floor to the one just below it. Pushing though the door he held it open for her, once she passed though he lead her down the hall to the door set literally in the middle of the building. Using his key to open the door he stepped to the side,"Sorry its a tad plain, I dont really have much cause to decorate it other than the standard furnishings but it does have a really sweet view of the sunset. " If she put two and two together she would realize that his room was directly below where they had been sitting on the roof. After a quick tour of the rooms he smiled,"Make yourself at home. I need to get out of this armor." With that he headed into his room and quickly stripped the heavy armor off setting it into a neat little case. Next he proceeded to begin the long process of disarming, unstrung and storing the bow, pulling the dozens of kunai he had hidden from their various places and storing both into their own cases as well as his quiver. After about ten minutes Nari reemerged from his room wearing a silk shirt and soft silk shorts, with a chuckle he smiled,"Man its good to be home."

Sonyo looked around Nari's place as he disappeared to go get changed, inspecting the small and fine details of the house like the worn part of the floors where Nari had walked and the decorations that were a part of the house. Nari had spent many nights and days here, relaxing and wasting time, waiting for Ayame to need him. The young female flopped on a piece of furniture, pulling off her sleeves. A lot had happened and suddenly the fatigue from the day started to wash over her; she was just so exhausted. She sat back, her eyes closed, pulling off the pieces off cloth handing from her shoulders and kicking off her shoes. She wondered faintly where this whole thing would go, her being here in Suna. What would come of her and Nari? Would she really be able to help the kazekage fight against the UHV? The fear she had felt trying to escape the city was still lingering in the back of her mind; she knew they wouldn't come for her, she meant nothing to them, but there were still wondering doubts bouncing around inside her head.

She was zoned out now, staring off in to space, not realizing Nari had come back. There were still so many unanswered questions for her.

Sonyo jumped, letting out a small squeak. She hadn't even heard him approaching her, he was always so silent. She cleared her throat, blushing lightly out of embarrassment. "I just have a lot to think about..." She said softly, looking down at the floor, "I left Otogakure for varying reasons, but one of them is because of something I witnessed under the city, and the dawning of what my village was doing. I was harassed by the UHV for a while, you know. They knew I saw something I shouldn't have, but I wasn't giving them any proof so they couldn't put anything on me... I was so scared, I was only just out of the academy and I was already up to my neck in political issues... I think my body is just trying to relax, it seems so much more calm here even though I know war is brewing. My body isn't used to it, I've been on guard for months, it takes a lot out of you..." She started playing with her hair, thinking back on all the things that had happened. "That and I think I'm still trying to recover from almost being killed at the gates."

A small sigh escaped his lips as he listened to her for a time. After a moment he leaned over and wrapped his arms around her pulling her into him. With his chin resting on her shoulder he began,"Sonyo. What your experiencing is entirely natural. You were placed under pressures that they had no right to place you under and forced to shoulder a burden you shouldn't have. I know the feeling truly I do. When my lady sends me on a mission there is no room for error, it must be completed regardless of the price to myself. So please, do what I do. Relish in the moments of peace and let those moments be your anchor in times of strife. When I am on a mission and the stress starts to wear on me I just think back on memories like today, the warm sun, the sunsets, and those I care for. Draw strength from those around you. Nobody says you have to do this alone Sonyo. You have friends here to support you and care for you." He smiled as he finished and gave her a soft kiss on the cheek before leaning back into the couch and relaxing.

Almost instantly, Nari's words soothed her. She felt her mind finally rest at ease and she, too, rested back on the couch, closing her eyes. "Thank you Nari... Nari gave a soft chuckle as he shrugged,"Naa its nothing. Its what I do." As he spoke a small firework caught his eye bursting over the village. After a moment he put two and two together and grinded widely,"Hey Sonyo, you know how I said we work hard and play hard right? Well its play time... festival time." Every year there was a festival and he must have lost track of time to forget his favorite thing of the year aside from the summer solstice.

The moment Narimoi said the word festival, Sonyo perked up to attention, a wide smile filling her face. It's like all of the energy that seemed to have left her a minute ago was all of a sudden back again like inhaling.Festivals were one of Sonyo's favorite things in the world, and what better to get her mind of the current events like losing herself in to festivities. She jumped to her feet, bouncing vigorously and clapping her hands. "What are you waiting for slowpoke! Let's go!" With all of the energy in her tiny and short legs, Sonyo was out the door and running towards the sounds of the festival in full swing, looking back and running backwards a few times on the way to make sure Nari was following.
