Akane sat up and shook her numb arms out, making a face as they complained to her brain. Standing up, she beamed up at her sensei.
"I'm fine Shika Sensei!" she quipped, wincing as he prodded her arms. "Ita!!....maybe a bit there, Shika Sensei..." she added, a bit more truthfully.
"But nothing bad!" she said, hurriedly, just in case her teacher thought she was a wuss. "What will we train next, huh? Will we do running, or swimming," (Akane hated swimming) "or tree climbing, or what?"
Akane jumped from one foot to the other, looking for all the world like an eager puppy.

Shikatsu felt her arm and looked at you. "You pulled something in your arm Akane. Here, just let me..." He held his hands up to her arm as they started to glow green. He was healing her arms. As he finished he looked up at you. "Better?" He asked. "Well, I don't want to do much without our other teammate here. Why don't you show me what you already know Akene." He said standing up and offering her a hand.
"Your life is to short, so don't go throwing it away so easily."
Akane winced again and bit her tongue as Shikatsu poked as the pulled muscle in her arm. Perhaps for someone who always overdid everything and had a tendency to run into things and solve them on the go due her impatience a sensei who was a healer was not such a very bad idea...
She did, however, take the treatment without word of complaint, and even watched curiously, knowing that this was one type of jutsu that she had absolutely no talent for. Her aunt was a proficient healer and had tried to teach her by tugging her along on her rounds a few times, but gave up after Akane practically dehydrated herself by crying the whole day long through sympathy.
Akane had a vivid imagination and could imagine herself in the patient's situation without any effort and immediately lost it....
"Hai, hai,Shika Sensei!" she chirped happily, reverting to her bad habit of repeating herself when she was pleased. "Much, much better now! Arigatou!"
Akane's eyes then oggled as her sensei asked for a demonstration. But her natural extrovert-self saved her and this shocked state was almost instantly replaced by a sunny beam and small dance of excitement.
"Hai, hai,Shika Sensei!" she chuckled, then went silent and still from one moment to the other, with a small frown of concentration on her forehead and she took up a pose, with her hands forming a seal, then said:
"Henge no Jutsu!"
With that Akane disappeared in a puff of white smoke and in her place appeared a small, young oak tree....wearing a blue ribbon. After a moment, this plant then shuddered, then went 'poof' and Akane re-appeared, beaming happily, hands clasped together and waiting for her teacher's judgment.

Shikatsu finished up and was glad he could heal her. He watched her do the jutsu and re-appear. HE smiled and chuckled slightly. "Very cute. Now Lets see here." HE stood up and did the ame hand sign she did. " Henge no Jutsu!" HE said as a puff of smoke appeared. As it cleared,he was gone and another Akane was there." How do I look?" He asked striking a sexy pose and winking.
"Your life is to short, so don't go throwing it away so easily."
Akane beamed at the praise (which was to Akane as oil was to a burning fire..), then oggled as Shikatsu took on her own form, and laughed in dlight and clapped her hands.
"You look wonderful!" she said gleefully, then took up her pose again, and frowned in concentration, and went 'poof'.
In Akane's place now stood Shikatsu, who now grinned and gave the 'Akane' a thumbs up.
"What about me, eh, Shika Sensei?" she asked, grinning like a pumpkin.

Akane roared with laughter in her form as Shikatsu, then puffed back into her own form, rolling on the ground in laughter. She did not think her sensei would be such a fun person.
"Hai, hai,Shika Sensei!" She chittered gleefully, then jumped to her feet, danicing about in excitement. "What next?! What next?!"

Shikatsu watched her as she rolled on the ground as he poofed back to his form. He waited till she was finished before he spoke again. "Next you say, how about Taijutsu? Hand to hand combat as it may. Are you up for it?" He asked curiously.
"Your life is to short, so don't go throwing it away so easily."
Akane 'squeed' and jumped up and down in excitement, hands clenched into fists, now looking like a puppy who had gotten rather high on excitement itself.
"Hai, hai, Shika Sensei!" She all but shouted, hair flying, "Sounds like fun! I'm pretty good at that, ya know Shika Sensei!"
Akane nodded complacently, flowers bobbing in her hair. And she was.....all by herself against a log or dummy....

(OOC: I have no idea. I didn't know him before we met here, and I haven't gotten into contact with him....)
Akane nodded like a toy bobbing-head dog on the dashboard of a semi-trailer.
"Hai, hai, Shika Sensei!" She chattered and took up she own defensive pose, crouching low and holding out her right hand before her, palm towards Shikatsu, and her left hand wound up behind her back.
Taking a deep breath, Akane then shifted her weight to her left leg and pushed herself off in a frontal dash at Shikatsu, pulling out a pair of kunai as she did.
Approaching Shikatsu, Akane threw her weight to her right leg just as she step up to her Sensei and kicked herself off of the ground, lashing up with her left foot in a kick and spinning around, stabbing with her kunai to see if she could actually hit anything.

Shikatsu frowned as Akane attacked him. He was annoyed now and decided to show er something. He caught her kick and her kunai wielding hand. He then continued his movement and slammed her down hard on the ground. After this he moved the kunai to your throat." Now Akane, you seem bright enough right? I said tai-jutsu. So why are you using A Kunai knife/" He asked smiling.
"Your life is to short, so don't go throwing it away so easily."
Akane hit the ground with a grunt, then looked innocent.
"Opps." she said, with a winning grin, "I got so carried away, I forgot, Shika Sensei! Gomen!"
She then made a face as she pulled herself up, and dusted herself off.
She tossed her kunai away as she stood and took up another stance, bracing her feet apart and holding her hands in front of her.

"Just don't do it again. Now then where were we... Oh yes, now I remember." He said as he vanished only to reappear behind you. He sent a super strong punch straight to your face. HE stopped short just before your face, but the wind was enough to knock you down.
"Your life is to short, so don't go throwing it away so easily."
Well, it was worth a try, I suppose.... she thought, then blinked as Shikatsu disappeared in one moment only to appear behind her and let loose a punch right at her face.
"Kyah!" She screamed in panic then fell back with another thud and cloud of dust.
Akane sat in the dirt with a rueful facial expression, then sighed again, looking like she was about to cry, then pushed herself up and aimed a kick at Shikatsu's stomach as he stood over her.
