Half-Blood War (Aslumber)

Ren glanced at Erik. "I'm hoping my brother wont have a fighting rage and try to fight Jason." She was honest with him. She didn't see a reason not to be. She let out a sigh. They hadn't gotten back yet. She was getting worried for the both of them. Ren let her fingers touch her lips, but she quickly moved them away, looking down at the floor.

"Well then I hope it is. Isn't he really strong? I wanna spar with him." Gerad was very excited. The son of Zeus. He wanted to meet him so bad.

Jason walked up to the small group, noticing their appearance first, beat up and tired looking. "Hello, nice to finally meet all of you. Cousin Luna, Devon nice to see you again, Gerad, i've heard some promising words from your mother, Amia, and Rhi as well? You sure have been busy Devon."

Devon couldn't help but smile and walk up to Jason. "I should have known it was you, Jason." He grabbed Jason's hand and clasped it. "You're as tall as ever. How has it been?" Devon's mind finally got off of having to go see Hades... And maybe even Malinda.... He shook his head. He'll have to talk with Jason about it later maybe, but Hades seemed impatient. He needed to leave soon. He was starting to get his idea on how to leave.

Luna and Len were both confused at how Devon and Jason got along. She didn't know Devon knew him like that. He talked so formally about him around others.

Gerad looked from Devon to Jason, equally perplexed. Though when he thought about it, it made sense. devon did do work for Zues and he would have seen Jason a lot.

"Very busy." Jason returning Devon's greeting. "Had to come save the twins from Cousin Malinda. She apparently got out of her cage without permission if you catch my drift. Though you probably already knew that from the looks of it. Tell me, how is Cousin Theras these days?"

Gerad just about coughed when he asked the question. How did he know about what they had done, was he watching? "How did...?"

"I know?" Jason smiled and winked at Devon. "I have my ways. Now come, it's time we all got to Jira's place and aquainted each other.

"I honestly wouldn't know how Theras is other than a little sore from Gerad kicking his a**." Devon laughed and nudged Gerad. He only acted like this in front of Jason. He brought out Devon's cheerful side who was really nice and straight forward.

Luna looked up at how tall Jason was. How could my dad and his be brothers? How could we be so closely related yet so... She looked down at her long blue hair that flowed flawlessly and then his hair how short and flat it was. And he was so tall compared to her. Where did that growth spurt come from? She looked at Oceanas, who bayed in confusion as well.

Len looked at the others that were there, taking in how they looked and reacted to seeing Jason. Devon seemed to know him well, yet the others didn't know him at all. He had to think hard to piece it all together.

Jason smiled as he turned and stared to walk towards Jira's. "Oh? Is that so?"

Gerad blushed. "Not especially, no. It ended more as a draw."

"Eh, don't worry about it. Not many can go toe to toe with Theras. Most people just lose their heads." Jaso thought about a few of the spars he and Theras had back in the day. They always came close.

Devon laughed again then pulled Jason in close enough to whisper in his ear so no one else could hear. "I have a delivery to make. Confidential. Help keep it low for me alright?" He knew that Jason would understand. Her remembered the twin's presents in his hand. He walked up to Len and handed it to him. "From your father Apollo, for you and your sister, Ren. Your father said to 'use them well'" He turned to look at Gerad and the others. "Look guys I got more business that came up. I'll catch up with you guys when I'm free." Devon waved bye as he flew up fast. He was glad to get out of there. He already was over the wall of the city, on his way to meet Hades' servants waiting at the opening prepared for him.

Luna looked at Gerad, a little confused. "Where did he go?" She asked Jason, wanting to know. Len stared at the box that didn't light up like it did with Luna. How do I open it?

"There are other demi-gods out there that need him to deliver things to them. Not to mention the gods themselves. Devon has always been the little messenger for the gods." Jason fiddled with his ring as he walked.

Gerad had shrugged when Luna looked at him. Things had already become very weird already.

"Oh, okay." Luna followed him with Len behind her, trying to figure out how to open the box. She turned to him to watch. "You probably need you sister with you for it to open." She suggested the simple solution and he tucked the box away with a blush on his face.


Devon was already entering the gate that was in the deep part of the forest. He was being escorted in by two small demons that hopped out in front of him. He used to hate coming down here, but he grew accustomed to it by now. I wonder if its even safe, with this war going on and all. My father didn't tell me not to come... So I guess I'm safe. Just an everyday job. He just shrugged as he stepped down into an opening in the ground of the Underworld, a secret way they always took him to get him to Hades quicker.

Finally Jason and the others came to the blacksmith. Jason opened the door. "Honey! I'm home!" Jason came inside giggling to himself.

Gerad entered after jason, looking around and seeing two others on a couch. "Sorry for the intrusion."

Ren stood and bowed slightly. "Welcome home everyone." She noticed there were a lot of new faces she hadn't seen before. Len came over to her and presented her the box. "The messenger of the gods gave this to us from our dad." It started to shine and after the glow faded each twin held a sword in hand, Len's bigger than Rin's. They had a sheath too. They were amazed at what happened and sheathed their swords, almost like it was instinct. The sheaths disappeared. "I guess they'll reappear when we need them..."
Luna was still outside the door of the house. "Oceanas you have to stay out here okay? Behave for me." He bayed in rejection to that idea but he stayed where he was as Luna walked in with Rhi beside her still, just in time to see the twin's swords disappear. "Hello everyone. This is quite a big group I'd say." She giggled and let the door close behind her.

Rhi walked in to the building behind everyone. She was still speechless from meeting the tall, red-haired Jason. Still unsure of how she fit in to the entire scheme of demi-gods, Rhi waited to be spoken to. This plan, however, was compromised when Len and Ren's swords disappeared; she let out a little gasp, and stammered, "How... how did you?"

Amia, who had been lagging behind a little, quickly followed Rhi into the building. She had never seen so many demi-gods in one place. Heck, she'd never seen so many people in one place. Not knowing where she should go, she stood awkardly by the door. She smiled, however, when Ren and Len received their gifts.

Malinda finally awoke. She sat up grasping her side which was still hurting, but had healed for the most part. She let her wings disappear into her back, stood, and looked at herself in part of a broken mirror. "I look awful!" She exclaimed. Then another thought drifted into her head. I wonder how the 'talk' is going.. She sat back down and held her knees to her chest.

Jira began to laugh again, but then stopped when she noticed the twins' gifts. She glared angrily at Jason, leaning on the back of a chair as she came back into the main room. "You lied to me, they already have weapons."
"They just got them, Miss Heron. Jason didn't know, or did he?" Erik had taken his place on the couch after deciding not to sit on the floor anymore.
"Same thing." Jira pouted. "And here I was gonna be generous."

After a while, Theras had sat down and taken out a whetstone, running it along the edge of his scythe. Hades didn't seem to mind the sharp scraping noise as it was sharpened. At least it doesn't have any blood on it, he thought as he worked. He wouldn't have had any real time to clean it off.

"Threre, there Jira. I did not lie to you. Now the twin's powers have awakened fully and they shall be able to make that light you wanted. Go ahead twins, try it." Jason turned to Len and Ren.

Gerad was curious too, he had been standing in the doorway to the kitchen, watching and observing the others. He wanted to see the two shorter ones' powers.
