Alrighty, is there someplace I can find like...a LIST of pleco's around 4" ?
Also, the filter is...just...Ridiculous. Like, no longer making noise although I don't dare unplug it so I only did a 25% water change not to upset it too much, but for the past couple days it has been just trikling water even on the high setting it just can't suck up enough water, the level in it is much lower than it ought to be. So I think ima take advantage of the sale and get a new one BUT what makes me really nervous is the filter I had before that I sold to my friend has the SAME problem minus the stupid dying noises. So I'm worried if I spend money on a new filter it will last till the waranty is up and then break down just like these.

Here's 30 plecos under 8" couldn't find a list for under 4 inches, but each pleco says how big it gets.
Try lifting the media in your filter ever so slightly up, the flow should get better.

I haven't unplugged it in over a week. But, I'm bound to have a power failure at some point lol at which point it might get worse.

If you've tried doing everything we've told you and it's still not working, then it must be a problem with the motor, in which case it'll be good to get a new one when you can.

But, it still makes aweful noises if the water level drops more than 25% or if it gets unplugged. I think...I haven't let either of those things happen for fear it won't start again. I was gonna just wait till it was officially broken to buy a new one but with the 10 bucks off I'm really debating just getting it now. Edit: Okay, here's my top plec choises. Angelicus Pleco looks a lot like snowball so yes to that! Closely tied with butterfly plec but at 5.6" might be too big. Then Leopard frog and Tiger and zebra or chocolate zebra. But you mentioned zebra was 200 so I assume chocolate zebra would be similarly priced. Are any of the above mentioned plecs very expensive? So I know not to to even think about it lol.

Chocolate Zebra, Butterfly, Tiger, Leopard Frog, Angelicus the links are just websites that are selling the plecos so you can get an idea of how much they might cost. Breeders usually sell them cheaper than what you'll find at stores or websites that sell fish. I usually go on ebay or aquaricentral when I want a fish that I can't find locally.

The fact that I'm canadian means shipping is guaranteed to be outrageous. If they will even ship here. I just paid $33 in shipping on a box of frisbees that cost $30 gonk

So if it wasn't for shipping I could get stuff sooo much cheaper crying Although I tried to go shoe shopping in platsburg and it wasn't actually that great. evil

Is that price really that outrageous though for what I am assuming will probably be overnight shipping? I drop $25 to have my mantises shipped to me and that can very well be more expensive than the nymph itself but I rather pay to have something shipped overnight in a properly insulated packaged box than go cheap and have a live animal die in the mail.
