"Thank you Every one" Amity said blushing as she clinked there glasses. She was happy to have friends here to spend time with when she was not studying. As she tasted what it was she cooked she was amazed at how good it was and was glade she made it for every one. She watched as Yamille poked fun at Baulken and Cris as she sipped her drink and eat smiling. It seemed every one was happy but one. "Ummm sir Cris is something wrong?" she asked him.

Baulken continued his chat with Yamille as the two were trading dirty jokes they had heard on different travels but he shot a look at Cris said, 'don't you be rude'.

Cris pretended not to see the look but knew he was being given a warning.
He looked to Amity and nodded.

"No, nothing is wrong miss. I am just trying to get used to being around people. I am mostly a loner."

Cris was honest as it was better than being rude and making something up.

Yamille just gave a soft laugh as she smiled and nodded at Amity before going to talk with Baulken. She enjoyed having a friend who she could bug and joke with and get some of the stuff she was saying. Part of her was wishing though that Cris would cheer up and enjoy him self. "Hey short stuff you think you can out do me hell I got one for you" she said as she started telling him about the time she spent on a pirate ship.


"I see...I am sorry if I am troubling you by having you here for dinner" Amity said as she looked down at her plate. She poked at her food and went back to eating it feeling a little bed. She did not understand why he was here if he was a loner...that and Yamille and Baulken where such open friendly people. Still it was nice that he came and he seemed to her that he could use time with friends.

Cris could see that even the bit of honesty he had offered, offended the lighter elf.
"...it was no trouble at all. Please do not mind me. I have much on my mind of late and coming here has given me the opportunity to not dwell on that which I cannot change or fix.

Besides....dinner alone....Is not much fun."

"very much so I have had Malag drag me out of my room for I would get lost in a book or scroll and forget to eat" Amity said with a sweet smile. Studying was helping her get over he pain and lost of Carrow. She had not cried since the funeral and she was not getting crying her self to sleep any more. "Will I hope you stay for desert I have something special that you will all like." she said

"Dessert? You made dessert? What did you make?"
Cris perked up some as he did enjoy sweets to an extent. With everything he had going on with himself and around him, he needed a small fix of something to soothe his frayed nerves.

"will with Yamile's help in getting some thing brought here I was able to make ice cream" Amity said smiling, "Sorry its just plain vanilla but I thought it would be a nice treat. I thought I would let you all try it before I start making big batches of it for the people to try" She eat more of her food in a good mood as she watched every one. "I was thinking shaved ice with some red berry flovering but if I made that much ice I am sure I would freeze the house" she said with a laugh.

A soft green mist formed in one corner of Aeriolous' room then faded to reveal the Goddess in the form of the Mother, the form the Drow knew her best as. As the mist faded, she smiled to see the drow king enjoying a quiet moment to himself for once. She stepped towards him, the scents of summer moving around her and announcing her presence to him.

When he started to get up, she waved him back down and sat on the floor with him, "I've come with news for you. I'm not too sure how you will take it, though," she told him softly, tilting her head slightly as she looked at him.

While she had never actually born a child, there were several races that considered themselves her children and had given her this form. The first had been the Elves and the Drow carried on the tradition that they were her children and she loved them all as if they were her own. But, even among all the races, she still had her favorites. And Aeriolous was one of them.

"Look in your oldest archives and find the Prophecy... You know Lareth has chosen a bride in Cynthia. When you get the news of it, make sure you attend the wedding. Offer to escort the bride to her groom. You will find the salvation for your people when you do," she told him with a very pleased, and slightly mischievous, smile.

Then she actually winked at him before she faded from him in a curl of mist, leaving him with the promising scents of summer.

Aeriolous was taken by surprise as he could smell grass and scents of summer. He had just put down his book when the 'mother' appeared to him.

He was about to hop up and offer her a seat when she waved for him to sit back down. He remained on the floor and ran a hand through his messy hair as he tried to look somewhat decent.

As she said she had news, he nodded and bowed his head in respect to her and waited for her news.

At talks of the Prophecy, he looked up and gave her a small look of confusion. Then there was the order to attend the wedding and escort Cynthia down the aisle.

He was about to ask what she meant by all of this, but soon she was winking at him and vanishing, leaving him alone with the scent of summer.

The drow king made a note to stop by the archives tomorrow to see what the prophecy actually said.

After that note was made, he put his book away and went and flumped onto the bed. He didn't know why, but he felt like this would be a problem later on.....

"Ice Cream? What is that?"
Cris asked, curiosity piqued.

Baulken looked to Yamille and gave her a wink as Cris was at least showing some interest in conversation.
"So did I ever tell you the story about the the barmaid and giant squid?"

Baulken went back into his dirty story mode as he knew Cris would be alright in conversation.

Aeriolous had felt his stomach growl and figured it was time to get some food....and that meant leaving the room. He was just barely off his bed, when there was a burst of energy behind him, sending him flying forward and falling on the ground.

As he groaned and slowly got up he turned his head to find a male there placing Wren into his bed.

The drow got up and grabbed a nearby dagger and threw it past the mans head.

"What have you done to Wren?!"

The male turned fire smoldering eyes and watched as the drow cringed slightly but was already picking up another blade to defend Wren. Rowan held up his hands.

"Peace Drow. I bring lady wren here for aid.....She....she needs a healer or midwife to help."

Amity giggled and smiled as Cris asked her what it was. "Heaven stuff that can be quiet cold" she said, "its made with milk and flavouring. Once every one is done I will go get some with the bowls." She was all most down and could not wait to bring the ice cream out. As she eat more she noticed Malag had gone some where and wondered where she ran off to. "So what do you do Cris?" she asked as she sipped her water.

"No" Yamille said giving him a look, "but have you been to Japan?" She had to ask for it sounded like some thing she would hear from over there. As much as the food and sake was good they stuff they where in to was a little weird. She pulled out a small bottle of Rye and poured some in to her juice and then handed it to Baulken. "So what about this barmaid and giant squid?" she asked

Malag wlaked out of the shadows and stood by he king as she looked up at him. "Mi King Mi can go get a midwif or healrrrrr but forrrr now ou must help" she said, "Amity all so nows som healing too if ou need herrrr" It would be fast for her to find a midwife and bring her through the shadows then calling one and waiting on them to get here. Right now they need the speed to help.

Cris paled some as she asked what he did.
"...i....don't really do anything. I do not know what to do. My head is so scrambled I cannot be an ambassador anymore, and I am more or less forgetful as I have memory retention issues....so I don't do much, except small bits of things that are easy, here and there."

Baulken shook his head.
"I dun even know where that is lass."
He took what was offered and poured himself just a bit into his juice as well.
"Now the barmaid was off drunk one night and fell off the pier near the bar where she worked. A giant squid which was passing by saw her as she fell into the water and scooped her up. He took her to dry land but before he could leave, she seduced the mighty creature and he used his tentacles to..."
It was quite a raunchy story as the barmaid was basically doing a giant squid.

Aeriolous looked to Malag.
"Do not interrupt Amity....go bring a midwife through the shadow and bring her directly here. We do not want this information out and about..."
He looked to a stone faced Rowan who nodded.

Aeriolous went over and checked Wren's vitals and several other things before he went to his personal medicine box and opened it up pulling out some herbs and a grind stone.

Quickly he set to work, getting ingredients ready for the midwife.

Wren gave a small pained sound as Rowan laid her on the bed but managed to take his hand in hers even though Hal's tea was making her very, very drowsy. And more than a bit loopy.

"Don't be mean to him Aeri... He'sh my hushband..." she managed to say then frowned up at Rowan, "Wha-the-hell did he give me?" she asked in soft wonder as she blinked a bit stupidly.

On a better note, she didn't hurt. Of course, that was the tea, so...

She knew it wouldn't take Aeriolous to be able to see that most of her problem had to do with energy drainage and coming into contact with her exact opposite. It was like matter meeting anti-matter, only less volatile and more draining.

About that time, she noticed Malag and gave her a sleepy smile, "You make a better kitty, Malag..." she said softly then finally went to sleep. Probably a good thing too with as high as she was right now...

"I am sorry" Amity said as she finished her meal. She felt bad about asking now and wish she did not say anything. As she got up she gathered the plates and before she went and put a hand on his. "will if you like I need a guild still for around here to help me out?" she suggested. She wanted to be kind and she felt sorry and thought this would help him feel better if he was out having some fun.

Yamille's eyes where wide and ehr jaw was dropped before she started laughing and giggling as her cheeks blushed. "Omg no way" she said to him him as she started to image it, "That can not be true any way." She had to adment to her self that it was really kinky and turning her on a bit but she could not see that being try in any way.

"mi agree's Lady" Malag said with a smile before she jumped in to the shadows. She did like being a cat better for she found it more cozy way to live. But for now being a drow was need as she grabbed the midwife with out a word and pulled her to the room. The midwife was not happy with her and started to swear at her in which she took her small cat form and hid behind her king.

"Husband? And why was I not invited to the happy occasion?"

Aeriolous knew her energy needed to be restored before the midwife came so he crushed up some dried herbs he had nearby.

As Malag had brought the midwife he looked to the woman and shushed her. He explained that he was going to pull out any bad energy with a poultice and That the midwife needed to be ready to check the lady over and make sure everything was alright.

The woman nodded and stood off to the side as Aeriolous worked as quickly as he could.

The poultice he made was considered a light 'poultice' which would clean her spiritual energy completely as well as restore her energy while also acting as a conductor to draw out anything dark.

He grabbed a few other things and was soon making a sort of sticky cream mixture. When it was ready, he rolled up his sleeves and walked over. He looked to Rowan.

"Undress her please. I have to spread this on her body."

Rowan was holding Wren's hand when he magicked her clothes away.

Aeriolous quickly dipped his fingers into the mix and pulled out some of the goop and began to draw symbols on her. As he did so, he spoke softly, his eyes glowing as he used his magic to help draw out any impurities.

At first nothing happened, but soon flecks of black and blood red appeared in the symbols where he had drawn on her.

He then poured the mix on her as he rubbed it all over taking care in massaging it into her skin. when he was done he stood back and raised both his arms and drew the darkness that was still left out of her and into himself. It wouldn't hurt him as he was aligned with the darkness anyway.

Once it was all drawn out, he finished his ritual and spoke.

"You will feel a bit tingly in about 5 minutes Wren, but after that you will be as right as rain."

He nodded to the midwife who went and carefully checked her over. Soon Aeriolous was bringing cloths and and warm water to the woman, as she made sure to push out the last of other fluids from her miscarriage.

Wren was soon cleaned up and resting in a clean bed.

Wren managed to miss the midwife's appearance and dressing-down of Malag. But she did come to when Aeriolous asked his question and gave another slightly goofy grin, "Cause it happened in a garden..." she said, apparently thinking that explained the whole thing. Then she was out again.

What the hell had Hal put into that blasted tea?!

The midwife did what she could and did offer Rowan the news that she would be able to have children again, though it would be better if the second pregnancy was carried through while she was kept on bed rest. After that, she helped Aeriolous clean and dress Wren then motioned for Malag to come on out and suggested that she find them a room since the paler elf would have to rest for a while.

After that, the midwife slipped out of the private entrance to the king's rooms and left them be. Of course, one had to hope she wouldn't wake up for a while longer this time. Wren high or drunk or whatever she was right now, was certainly not something one could get used to...
