A carriage arrived near the front of the campus. A young man stepped down wearing a fez-like black hat and long, white robes. A much older man stepped down as well after him, blessing him with a few hand gestures with a shaku before handing him a piece of paper with a writing in an ancient language on it, "Luck".
"Take care, my son", the older man said. He paused for a while, resting his hand on the young man's shoulder before saying, "And remember. You are the heir to our clan. Always remember to act-"
"-in accordance with the laws and traditions of our people.", the young man said along with him. "Of course, father", he said, taking off his formal garments which he returned to his father before walking slowly to the campus, to reveal more casual clothes underneath.
"See you on school breaks", the boy said cheerfully, waiting for the carriage to be a distance away before heading indoors in a quicker pace. He brought out a piece of paper from the pocket of his green hoody, trying to decipher the location of his next class, having missed the first one due to the long distance travel. He walked in the hallway, whistling a cheerful tune as he ran his fingers over his untamed mane of blazing red hair. Zilaius was his name, more commonly known as Zil to his peers. He squinted as he saw a white flying creature zipping around. He was familiar with seeing strange creatures from his after school activities as a shaman, driving out evil spirits and demons, but he still had a hard time deciding if it was a friendly being or not.

Penny was nervous about the test but relaxed a bit when Ama talked to them. She took a breath and focused on the light orb above her. She held out her hand and focused hard and saw a small part of her orb slowly come down but it landed on her forehead instead of her hand. She giggled though as she looked up at it and it felt kinda warm from the light.
Lilly smiled as she watched the students. "Oh, I remember having to do that when I was young." she said as Kael came back. "My I'm old." she giggled before looked to Ama. "Hello Miss Ama." she said as she lightly petted her on the head gently. She looked back at Kael. "Actually I was just entering your class to ask for some help." she said with a smile.

V. stood at the usual diststance away tinkering with a small device in his hand warry of the others as he wisperd to himself

Luca sighed. "that wolf is threatening...." He muttered as he rested against his cane. He sighed and watched Penny. "Is this all that we have to do?" He said looking to Kojo who nodded. "he huffed as he got off his cane which stood straight up. He put his hands besides the skull and closed his eyes. The fire orb descended quickly and hovered infront of him.
Kojo rested his head against his hand. "Luca that 'wolf' is very powerful. she's not any normal guardian clearly." he said as he pulled the pin out of his floating orb. "Besides....she said don't show off. Their will be time for that later." He said smiling widely as he spun the pin on his hand as if he was twirling it through fingers. (which are nonexistent for the voodoo doll) he looked at Penny and raised a eyebrow. "she's a clutz." He said simply as Luca swatted him with his cane simply by twirling it before returning it back to its original position.
"That's rude Kojo...but yes she seems like it." He said while keeping focus on the orb. He started to make it spin in the air as he was bored.

suddenly the device in his hand began to hiss and spit smoke. quickley without thinking he swallowd it, there was a muffeld explotion. then as he coffed up smoke from between his bandiges he started writing notes as if nothing had hapend.

Penny heard what Kojo and Luca said about her and she looked down sadly. Her little orb went away as she lost focus. She knew she was klutzy, but she tried so hard to hide it in public. She then turned when she heard the explosion and looked at V. "You alright?" she called to him after seeing the smoke.

"Fine, fine, fine" He said belching smoke " just moved the wrong wire" he said as he put away his note pad. "I now know what to do on the full scale project now..."

Kojo raised a eyebrow and looked towards the explosion and shook his head. "Distractions..." He said a she opened his eyes and rested against the cane as the orb floated back into the air

V. pulled out another one of his devices and began to finish it. then siting it on the floor he pressed a small button on the side "this should fix the sound for ya..." he mumbled and sudenly there was no noise it was as if they were in a silent movie.

Penny was glad he wasn't hurt but still felt bad. She decided to walk away from the group and find a little spot where she could sit and not be in the way. She found a nice patch of soft sand and took the towel off her shoulders. She then laid it on the ground and laid on her back on it. She looked up at the sky and started to make shapes out of the clouds by herself.

Xandra looked up at Kai, waiting for him to do something. She really wanted to help him out, but she couldn't if he didn't at least try.

Looking up at the orb and then down to Xandra Kai sighed a bit as he slowly sat down. Putting his hands over his legs he closed his eyes. If it was up to him to move the orb the he would try it like his training had been with patience. Slowing his breathing he did his best to focus on the small pulse of energy that he was constzntly feeling.

Xandra put her forepaws on Kai's leg and slowed her breath to match his. She didn't really know what she was doing, but she felt that it was the right thing to do in order to help him.

The difference between the good guys and the bad guys
Sighing as he opened his eyes and looked at Xandra. Kai reached out and rubbed her head. He could feel her indecisiveness on him but didn't seem to show much as he inhaled a few times. Closing his eyes again he decided to take on this as he had training in his younger days. Focusing on nothing but the orb of water was difficult at first. Locking his mind into nothing but that small orb of magic's wasn't something he had done before so it took him awhile to finally sense it. It took the boy even longer as he seemed to slip into a meditative state the orb finally slowly starting to draw towards him as it moved finally resting just in front of his face.
"Help what could you possibly need my help with Lilly" Kael asked as he rubbed the side of his temple. With this woman a task that would seem simple could be no telling how difficult. She was far to fleeting in her ways for the lich to comprehend several of her actions.
Is whether they use a human shield or make themselves one.
