At some point in the night, Taketori would meander out of the establishment in search of a place to sleep. He mumbled something tiredly to his new Family, nothing too intelligible, when he left. There was a river nearby, he thought as he swayed over towards where he thought it was. It would make a good place to sleep. A good place to train as well, he knew that he was going to need to get much stronger now.

Atsuko gave a weak smile to the joke but shook his head. Magnus was an interesting character, to say the very least. Out of the corner of his eye he spotted the massive giant, hard to miss after all, leave the bar. Likely off to do some sort of training. Or perhaps wrestle another wild animal.
"Work yes. Our group has grown a bit since last night if you couldn't tell, we are getting much stronger much quicker then I anticipated" Atsuko said thoughtfully. Expansion was happening fast, quite fast. Not wanting to disturb the rest of his group Shalamoana and Shazwanga had made their way out already having left through the window for the river bank to complete some of their own training.
The large bird had however had some trouble leaving via the window and after finding some spare butter that Shalamoana had lying aroundthey had both managed to squeeze out and into the night where Shalamoana had taken to standing atop his bird. The large black bird virtually invisible save for its powerful beak against the night sky.

"You've also taken on a few new members, based on last night's escapades," Magnus responded, keeping his eyes fixed on Atsuko even as others started to move about. "If you're confident in the skills of your fellows, I do have something that could use your attention. After your hangover has worn off, please; that would make for a poor excuse if you failed."
From his breast pocket he retrieved a fairly thick envelope and offered it to the young man before him. The air about him was just as it normally was, but his voice had just a bit more gravitas.

"The recently rescued Dr. Hunt provided our employer with important information pertaining to the United Hidden Villages and its presence in our esteemed city. It is believed they have a base of operations in the tunnels underground, far from the main thoroughfare, as a few of their known operatives are frequently seen transporting materials through the area. Your task is to find their location through whatever means you have at your disposal, investigate the operation, and put an end to it. Save whatever documents and materials you find unless doing so would jeopardize the mission. Expect heavy resistance if you're detected. For the sake of assisting your mission, we have gathered some items you may find useful."

Atsuko read the letter with interest. This wasn't the standard kind of mission he was used to, this was something much more. Going underground would be extremely dangerous and to boot it would be crawling with uhv. This wouldn't be enough to deter the Shishin however. Sliding the envelope and its contents inside of his coat he got onto his comms. "Houou, Artemis, I don't know if you are awake yet but if so meet me at the bar as soon as you can. We have our next mission, and it is a big one. I need to go get the other two who went out for some training but I won't be long" Atsuko said over the radio.

Artemis was thankful she preferred tea over alcohol. She lifted her head from the table, surprised at herself for passing out like that. Last night had been crazy eventful, of course. She turned to the sound of voices and caught Magnus sliding over an envelope. She waved at him and peeled herself off the seat, leaving a hefty tip of ryo on the table before following Atsuko to the river banks.

Whise slowly walked back into the moderate man, before he went to the bar he looked at the bounty board and plucked a wanted poster from the wall. Kazaka Shinsetsu, the Jounin who's appearance he had taken to attack Shirley. He would hope that this would be enough to lead them down the incorrect path. A snow wielding shinobi who already has a bad history with the mob of gimangakure attacks one of the mobs main leaders. Hell Shirleys group could have put this up themselves. They could already be familiar with him. He took the bounty and stuck it into his pocket. He didn't need to act on hunting this guy down for now. He then walked over to Magnus."Oi barkeep, just wanted to let you know I'm back on the market for body guard work. But only for those who have deep enough pockets you hear me?" Only a few people in Gimangakure could hire an S rank rogue. Shirley was one of them. With a recent attack and a injured guard he will most likely be looking to beef up his security.
So officially Whise was looking to be hired. Now he just had to wait. Dammit, he should have just killed Shirley the moment he saw him.

Magnus nodded curtly at Whise and offered him a drink menu. Whether or not he accepted, the barkeep would send a note back to the back room via one of the employees and then resume a conversation with a tough-looking samurai-type lady with a kusarigama at her hip. Magnus and Mio were negotiating pay for some job that was getting foisted her way through the Kurokasa's channels. Whatever it was, it sounded like fairly light work, but she was no less passionate about negotiating her pay.

Whise ordered just a bourbon on rocks, he just wanted something he could relax and sip on before he returned to the kurokasa mansion. All this time he had ignored Mio standing there waiting to speak with Magnus. Luckily for him she couldn't even recognize him as her boss. His mannerism were different from Lucius, who seem a but more calm and kind. While Whise was a bit more aggressive. He just looked Mio up and down not obviously of course while they talked about a mission. He didn't recall assigning her anything, did the clone do it? Interesting, he merely sat and listened as he drank whatever Magnus gave him.

The drink would arrive without a moment's delay, made by Magnus himself with smooth, professional haste that was absolutely unparalleled. His negotiations with Mio came to an end, the two of them having settled on a sizable sum of money as a fee for her teaching someone some of her medical jutsu. They shook on it and she took her leave of the bar, presumably heading back to the mansion.
A great deal of time would pass before Whise's job request would be fulfilled. In the meantime, the occupants of the establishment would swap out almost completely, with the notable addition of a group of surly-looking gangsters who claimed a table at the far end of the building as their own. A lot of money changed hands, but after fulfilling a particularly complex drink order, the rogue head approached Whise.
"Are you interested in working as some extra hired muscle, or do you wish your jobs to be limited purely to working as a bodyguard?"

Whise wasn't particularly waiting for anything, atm he just wanted to finish his drink and see what Mio was up to. seemed like some kind of basic job. Hopefully she got experience out of it. Then Magnus came over to him and told him he had some side jobs lined up. "Depends on who the client is, if they can afford me, and what the job entails." He replied plainly.

"A heist, more or less. The client is a group calling themselves the 'Cubs of Chi's Fire Unit', or the Chi Ka Go Cubs. They're fairly new to the scene, but they're offering a large sum as compensation. It's up to you if you want to accept, as always." Magnus turned to help another customer with a drink, letting Whise figure out if he was interested.

The twins entered the bar ahead of Hino and Oro, who both took up positions seated at a booth. Booths were good, because they were closed in and meant that people weren't really open to communicating with others. Jay and Jeon approached the bar when Magnus was finished with whoever he was attending to. He was the face of the man who had been serving the Shinjiro factory workers drinks. Might as well start here with trying to get in touch with whoever was the head of the other Mafia family. The duo placed their forearms against the edge, and tried to hail his attention. If and when he came over, the male twin would greet him. "Name's Oliver, sister is Olivia," he said much to the inner focused Chagrin of his twin. "We here tell theres something of a proxy war going on here. Know anything about that? Major players, where I can find them?" He was already prepared to grab some money to pay for information, grasping at 200 ryo to start. Meanwhile, Jeon was taking in faces, glancing at Whise and offering him a smile.

Magnus placed an empty glass in front of each of the twins well before he started answering their questions. He also slid the tip jar their way, but smoothly played it off as though he were moving it out of the way of another customer whose drink he was mixing.
"Would you like to order a drink? Perhaps some food to help you unwind after a long trip?" he asked the twins when he was no longer tied up in serving the other patrons. "You may have already noticed the fine establishments curated by the Kurokasa family, the factory owned by the Shinjiro family, or the tags of the gangs that prowl the streets. Where you can find the major players depends on the subject of the question."
As if to emphasize its presence, Magnus spun the rip jar around and tapped it on the counter so the coins and bills inside settled more to the bottom.

Whise was sipping his drink as Magnus spoke when he said the name Whise paused."Cubs? Are they a ******** baseball team?" Whise look was a bit uninterested. But he had to do something to pass the time."I'll talk to them and see whats up, then I'll decide. Where are they?" Whise eyes shifted to the twins who walked up to the bar talking about a proxy war or something and asking for major players. The boy glanced towards Whise, who raised his glass slightly in greetings to the boy before downing it. He wanted to hear a bit more about this info he had.
