Ebony moved to stand and pocketed his new bombs. He walked to stand near Ren and said, "You know, That Captain Hector isn't too bad looking. Though, I have to say, the mind reading is a little scary." Then he smiled stepped away few steps. "I might go over and say hello." He wasn't joking, and quite frankly, he could get to the other ship without docking, and he knew it too.

Hector felt the ship beginning to hum as the navigator began to take off. 'I hope they have enough fuel...' She thought as they began to take for the skies yet again. She sat down, folding her arms as she looked out the window. It wouldn't be too long until they land again. Laputa wasn't too far away.

Lina went to the engine and began to start it up with enthusiasm. She then pranced over to her little corner to take a nap. After all, it looked like an all-nigher or repairs. Not to mention Victor liked to keep her up all the time. "Oh woe is me! There is no time for the Great Lina Faust to rest!" She stated as she flopped onto her cot. She then began to think about Hector and Victor. "I wonder why he said that... I mean... and the way she reacted..." Lina muttered. Suddenly, her eyes lit up as she perked up. "Oh! Oh oh! I get it!" She smiled. "Oooooooh! That's so crafty! That Hector is definitely a crafty one!" She giggled. "But sleep! Sleep time..." She mumbled before slowly closing her eyes.

Sighing slightly Joe looked over at Jake for a few moments before moving his hand to his pocket. The vice he held onto tightly was smoking. This was most evident as he always carried a pack around with him. Pulling it slowly from his pocket Joe pulled a fresh one and put it in his mouth before fishing around his pockets for his lighter. "I know what you plan to do" Joe said to him as he found the lighter tucked deep into one of his coat pockets. Pulling it to the end he struck the flint and catching the end a light.

Pulling in a deep drag the cherry end of the cigarette glowed brightly as a thin trail of smoke left it. Holding his breath in for a moment to savor the flavor he finally released blowing the smoke into the air above him. "Keep in mind that you will use a bit of respect" Joe said to him as he pulled the cigarette from his mouth and leaned towards Jake over the wheel. His eyes as they usually were held a fierceness to them that many tended to want to be on the same side as. "Keep it respectful as you talk to her about repairs the ship needs" he reiterated leaning back as he tapped his free hand on the top of the wheel.

Is whether they use a human shield or make themselves one.

█ Renard made an amused face. "I would love to see that captain's face if he found you on his ship. But, mate, I don't think that is a swell idea. Especially with Victor almost popping a vein over Lina's sleeping habits," he advised to Ebony, though looking ahead as the ship flew. █

◌ Veasna had popped up after his outing, Esther happily munching on an almond as she sat on her perch on Veasna's shoulder. "Ah, yeah, Victor's very handy with those weapon things," he piped in. He took out a small gun carefully. He never had to shoot at anyone with it yet. "It was broken when I picked it up and Victor here offered to fix it. He even made a few enhancements with it. Too bad I'm not much of a fighter," he admitted. He was cheery, as per usual. He didn't manage to get lost, which was something like a miracle in itself. ◌

Jake frowned a bit as Joseph took out and lit a cigarette. He didn't particularly care much for smokers, always thought of smoking as a bad and deadly habit. He couldn't help but wonder why people would bother to even start smoking in the first place. "You know, one day that thing's going to kill you. That is, if running around with Eureka doesn't get you first." he said softly as he considered Joseph's words. Respectful...respectfull...yeah. He could do that. Why not?

"Don't worry, I'll be respectful when talking about repairs and the cost. Though, I'll probably bite her head off first for putting us in that situation to begin with. One of these days her lucks going to run out and it's going to get everyone on this ship killed if she doesn't stop being to damned reckless." He said as he turned around and started walking out the room. "You're more than welcome to join me. I might just need someone to reign me in if I get out of control. I don't wanna bite too hard." And with that he closed the door and headed for Eureka's quarters. When he got there, he made sure to knock so as to not walk into something he didn't wanna see.

Hector led the ship towards Laputa, which was three hours away. Still, she hadn't received word about the flagships that went after the pirates, which worried her slightly. She hoped they hadn't been shot down. By the time they reached Laputa, it was fairly late at night. She guided the Goliath to the royal port, where there was an extra place to dock for his ship.

By the time the Valkyrie finally landed, she could tell most of her crew was exhausted. She could only imagine how rough the people on the Goliath had it. "Good work everyone. Eat well and get some sleep." Hector announced before leaving the ship. There were escorts outside the ship to take everyone to the barracks where hot meals and beds were given. Of course, both Victor and Hector were given their own individual rooms, but most of the others would have to share.

Hector dismounted the ship, standing by at the dock. She wanted to make sure those on the Goliath knew what was going on. She also looked to her crew to make sure everyone was accounted for.

╔═ Eureka heard the knock. She lifted her head, looking at the door before making sure Amoretta was dressed before giving a call out for whoever was outside to enter. She leaned off the table, anticipating to see who it was only to find Jake. She gave a small laugh, though this was more out of nerve than much else and looked to her steady mechanic. "So, Jake, here to rattle my ear off right, mate? Did you get the numbers like I asked?" She crossed her arms, leaning on one of her legs as she raised her brow. She then looked to Amoretta, who she hoped would sit down somewhere or go to the bed to sleep. "You can ignore her. She could hear what you have to say. I bet she wouldn't have a very good impression of me anyhow," she waved off, mentioning to Jake that he could proceed to complain to her despite Amoretta being in the room. ═╝

I glanced over to Veasna who was holding the gun carefully in his hand. Though, he was holding it all wrong. I stepped over and looked at it carefully in Veasna's hand.

I know a few things about pistols. It's not one of the weapons I'm more proficient with, but I know how to use them enough to hit a target and not shoot myself. If you like I could give you some tips on shooting it so you can at least hit a target?

Tondra meanwhile had the crew scrambling to cast of and set sail. With a gentle creek and a turn, the Erberus was off, and heading out across the sea back towards the mainland.

Our first stop; the Museum of the Ancients.

Jake opened the door and took a couple steps into the room. So, that captain was talking to the kidnapped princess? What were they talking about he wondered? "Well, I certainly have some numbers for you. Though, I'm not too sure how much you'll enjoy looking at them." Jake said as he reached into his back left pocket and pulled out a sheet of paper. As he went about repairing the engine, he had made sure that he took down notes of what he needed as well as rough approximations on how much each part would cost. "That list also includes spare parts that I would recommend getting."

Jake turned and faced the princess. He looked her over as he tried to decide just how he felt about her. They risked an aweful lot to get her and the twin, but was it worth it seeing as to how they only got one? "And what the hell do you think you were going to accomplish going into their before I was done with the ship?! Were you just hoping to get us all killed?! I was hoping to do a bit to help make her more durable and able to withstand more firepower! Make that job a lot less risky!" He said, a bit louder than he meant to, as he turned his attention back to Eureka.

Erik disembarked the ship and saluted his captain. He then took a stance next to her and watched as the crew exited the ship.


Victor went out to the deck and ordered everyone there for role call. He wanted everyone present before they left the ship. It was Renard's duty to call out everyone's name in the order listed.

Hector looked to Eric, then turned to look at her crew. "You should get some rest as well. You have a long day ahead, and you look exhausted." She told him.

Lina remained in her cell, sleeping on her cot. She didn't hear the role call. A crew member entered her area and saw that she was sleeping. "Oh boy..." He muttered, and began to drag Lina to the upper deck. "Sir, she's asleep again." He stated, dragging her out to deck and leaving her on the ground as she curled up in a ball once again.

Victor stared down at the sleeping Lina and sighed in his head. "Just leave her there for the moment. As long as she is present, we know she's here. Now get in line for role call" he ordered the soldier.


Erik stood at attention towards Hector and saluted. "Then I am dismissed?" he asked.

"Everyone on this ship has been accounted for. Tomorrow, you will have to keep a close eye on the crew. I need you in top condition. You are all dismissed." Hector stated, turning to him and returning his salute. She then lowered her arm and let out a sigh. It looked as if she would be working late and starting early. She then turned and began to walk towards Victor's ship. After all, they were all her responsibility now.
