Virgil's head tilted to a side as he listen to him. He supposed ghost hunting was a lot more tame compared to throwing one's self out of a plane hundreds of feet up in the air. For a man that absolutely hated flying, the latter seemed like the very definition of idiocy. A half smile was offered for his help during his coughing fit. The effort was appreciated even if hadn’t really worked all that much. After that little scare, he was a bit more careful as he went back to eating. His throat had been abused enough for one night. ”Maybe…that looked real enough though.” He commented with a slight nod of his head upon seeing the shadowy hand. What the demon that had latched onto Marcel for so long looked like would forever be etched into his memory. Alcohol might help him temporarily blotch it out as it did every other terrible memory he had, but it would be lurking there now as well. Not that Virgil truly wanted to forget. While the thing was disturbing, he needed to remember every little nasty trick it had in case the damn thing ever returned. ”Pretty sure they’re idiots now...” He muttered as one of the men began to taunt the entity responsible for attacking the other guy. Shortly after that, another man began freaking out and claiming he was sensing some serious dark and negative energy. The older man had to bite his tongue a bit to keep from outright laughing ridiculous it all sounded. While dark history and the occult might be a guilty pleasure of his, shows like these were more often comical than they were scary and educational.
A loud crash at the other end of the hallway they were in had the whole team scrambling in the direction of the noise, where they all promptly freaked out at the sight of a heavy metal bed frame over on its side in the middle of the small room. They showed footage of their earlier exploration in the daytime, supposedly of the same bed which was bolted to the floor against one wall. This seemed to be the breaking point for the team as they soon started to wrap everything up though they claimed it was because they couldn’t explore any further due to hazardous conditions. ”Well, that was ah waste of time.” The only reason Virgil had left it on the show was out of some hope they might learn how to ward off demonic s**t or something like that. Finished with his pizza, he relaxed back with his drink cradle against his chest as another show with the same team started. He picked up the remote to hand it to the movie lover only to end up holding it up out of his reach when the showed what was an old fort which was now a Historical site. Supposedly the first sign of civilization that far out West, which had him rolling his eyes at how easily people seemed to forget the Native tribes that had lived in the area beforehand. ”I…I think I’ve stayed there…” The old werewolf glanced over to Marcel and widened his eyes somewhat as they went on to explain that while there were ghosts of people who once lived there, they were really drawn to the location because of an old legend of a Wendigo. ”If they find somethin’ an’ live, they’re fakes.” His tone was very matter-of-fact. ”Wendigos are ********’ fierce.” The memory made his manly bits want to crawl inside of his body for safety. In his defense, the creature had looked human enough at the time.

”Seriously.” His brows knitted together as Virgil stared back at the television. It was strange to see a place he had once stayed at on screen even weirder that they were talking about it as a part of history. Maybe he should have burned the place to the ground like he had first thought to do when he had discovered David’s secret. He listened to the explanation they gave of a Wendigo and shrugged a shoulder at Marcel’s question. ”I guess it is.” Just because he’d had a love affair with one didn’t make him an expert on the matter! A long drink of his Bloody Mary was taken as he tried to shake the cobwebs off of his brain, searching for some a more solid memory of it. ”Heh…If the whole possession thing is true then maybe th’ thing I was ********’ at th’ time wasn’t actually David…maybe it was just wearin’ his face…” He muttered as if he were talking to himself. After a few more seconds, he shook his head and better focused his attention on Marcel with a slight grin. ”He looked human enough right up until he didn’t.” Chuckling, he gestured to the drawings they were showing of what the creature supposedly looked like. There were a few variations between artists, but the general theme was the same. Skeletal humanoids with large black eyes, sharp claws, and teeth better suited to the mouth of a shark. ”I’d woke up one night ‘cause I heard someone cryin’…found some guy chained up in th’ basement, which I kinda remember thinkin’ was weird since th’ poor b*****d’s legs had already been cut off.” He let out a small sigh. ”David came shortly after that an’ he wasn’t t’happy about me findin’ his food so he attacked. I barely managed t’get outta there. I don’t’ think I would’ve if I’d been ah human.” Virgil wasn’t going to dwell on the image of how David’s body had warped into something more monstrous much like the drawings shown earlier. His eyes glanced toward the screen as the small group went inside of the general’s cabin in the center of the fort while the historian explained that a group had come to check on the people at the fort after no one had heard any word from them in weeks. They, unsurprisingly, came across a grisly scene upon entering the cabin which was filled with human remains. The general’s journal they had found blamed the dire situation all on a harsh winter and the fact that the hunter he had hired had abandoned them, leaving him with little other choice than to slowly butcher the others to keep the remaining few alive. Virgil scoffed. ”Bullshit. His a** probably got greedy.” He grumbled softly, beginning to feel guilty for those unfortunate souls fate. He wouldn’t say he outright abandoned them, but getting the hell out of there to save his own a** did probably fall close to it. Needless to say, he wasn't a fan of having his good name drug through the dirt. Not that it was all that good."Eh..." He set the remote down in his lap as he leaned over to kiss him on the cheek."I'mma go shower." With that, he stood up to go put the empty pizza box in the trash before he headed for the bathroom with his glass in hand. It might not be his favorite alcoholic drink, but there was no way in hell he was going to let it go to waste.

![User Image](https://i.imgur.com/wvRUpv3.png) Marcel knew that Virgil was well over a hundred years old, pushing a hundred and seventy but still the fact that this area that was now a historical site was once his home still was jarring to the Hispanic. When he confirmed that he wasn't ******** with him Marcel would shake his head a bit at the sheer thought of it all. He would then blink when Virgil didn't seem to have any more of a clue than he did with his somewhat flippant answer. He would then stare at Virgil when the other man confirmed he was in a relationship with someone called David and from the context clues when he spoke about the posession then...that would mean that David was...a low groan escaped from Marcel as they showed general depictions of what Wendigo's looked like. He would hold the glass between his legs while a his now free hand covered his face for a moment before sighing "You ******** one of those...THINGS....and then I..." Marcel had to not dwell on it for too long, it was honestly more amusing than anything else but still. The sheer sight of those warped versions of humans and the fact that Virgil had been with one of them was something that he would not want to think about. He would then listen to Virgil explain about about his own history there and how this David had kept a poor man alive with his legs cut off. The Hispanic would shake his head when he mentioned that he wouldn't have survived if he were human and not a werewolf the fact that there was living proof of these..."Wendigo's" existence as well as that ******** demon that haunted him. Marcel had to end up simply accepting the fact that all he knew was a lie and that he would probably have to start just going with things like this from now on. Marcel would continue to watch this show with much more fascination now that not only were these things all real as far as he knew but the fact that this place was somewhere Virgil had previously lived was all the more fascinating to him because despite how much he did love the man, so much of the other mans past was a mystery to the Hispanic. Virgil didn't talk too much about his past, leaving Marcel with only small bits and pieces to try and paint a clear picture of the man next to him. He was over a hundred years old, he was a werewolf, he had a sister who was murdered by soldiers, and other small bits of information. But still Marcel wanted to know so much more about the man, especially now that he had made that newest comment. A hunter abandoning them? Virgil getting out alive after his Wendigo encounter? The Veteran was about to open his mouth to speak when Virgil gave him a kiss on the cheek and a mention of taking a shower. Well there went that plan for the moment but soon though "Alright babe, see you soon" he threw a hand up as the other threw away the empty pizza box while taking his glass with him, well hey maybe he did like the cocktail he made after all! Marcel would sip the last bit of his own Bloody Mary before grabbing the celery that was now very soaked in tomato juice and vodka and munched on it mindlessly as the hunters would begin to do their usual thing. Setting up camera's and tape recorders while preparing to spend as long as they could handle in the place. Marcel soaked in every detail about the place, hanging onto every bit of history they would give.

![User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show. User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.](https://graphics.gaiaonline.com/images/s.gif) The door would be left partially open after he entered the bathroom, Virgil telling himself it was because his partner might need to come in for some reason rather than admitting it was because of his problem with closed-in spaces. After all, no matter how much he tried to keep a logical train of thought, it hardly seemed to matter to his brain if a space was truly closed in or not. After one last drink, he put his glass down on the counter and moved to turn on the water, adjusting the temperature to something that was a bit warmer than he usually did. Relaxing in hot water with a good drink was a nice idea, but the big guy wasn’t about to attempt it now. What was regular size to most people seemed smaller to someone of his height and bulk. What little clothing he wore was shed and he stepped in, closing his eyes as the warm spray washed over him. Admittingly, having hot water to take advantage of was nicer than he’d originally thought. Marcel was slowly turning him to a pampered pooch. It wouldn’t take much for Virgil’s mind to wander while he washed, replaying the Hispanic’s reaction to the information about a part of his past. He didn’t know if it was a good one or not although, from what he could remember, Marcel hadn’t sounded too angry or disgusted with him. Maybe it would be better for the human’s psyche if he kept information about the supernatural world to himself. Having one’s beliefs tested and proven wrong wasn’t a fun experience although he could hardly remember exactly how badly Mathew had shaken his world all those years ago. His past as well was another thing he wondered if he should keep to himself or, better yet, only share that information when it was asked of him. Saying something that the other man might have a hard time wrapping his head around or wasn’t ready to hear wasn’t something he wanted to do. As hard as he tried to silence it, there was a part of Virgil that wondered if Marcel didn’t regret what had formed between them. Being with him certainly did take away any chance of the poor man living a close to normal life although the werewolf was going try his best to make sure his life wasn’t disrupted from normalcy too much. It was already testing the limits of his sanity, but he could continue to ignore his wilder side in favor of pretending to be more man than beast. Once he was all squeaky clean, Virgil rinsed off all the soap and shut off the water before getting out. It took a few seconds of snooping, which made him feel guilty for doing, but he managed to keep find a towel. It would be draped over the shower rod once he was finished with drying himself to be used later on. His drink and clothing were grabbed before he headed out, going to the bedroom to put on a clean pair of boxer briefs. Having a ‘the less clothes, the better’ sentiment, he left his pajama pants with his bag and walked out as he was after kicking anything dirty into its own small pile. Touching anything that held any evidence of their fun earlier was unappealing to him now he was clean. Virgil worked on draining his glass while he headed back to the living room, wondering what his lover could have found to entertain himself. From what he could hear, it sounded as if he hadn’t bothered to switch channels. ”Are they still alive?” Virgil asked as he came into the room, pausing for a moment to grab his plastic cup from earlier. It appeared that they were though the group had split up this time around. Two remained in the cabin and were using a ouija board and other equipment to talk to any spirits while one unlucky b*****d had gotten tasked with staying near what was supposed to be a mass grave. According to their sources, no one could tell any of the remains apart so they had buried everything together in on spot. He shook his head a bit as he went to put his glass in the sink and refill his cup with moonshine. Virgil made it back to the couch in time to see one guy outside the fort freaking out about he could hear growling in the distance. ”Probably wolves…” He commented as he lightly leaned against Marcel and began to suck on his straw, watching as another man joined the first and started to explore further out. They both jumped as another person stepped out of the tree line though it was hard to make out what they looked like since the cameras would fritz out on them whenever the crew tried to focus on the newcomer. He glanced to the side at the smaller man with a smirk and a raised eyebrow as the on-screen conversation continued, what little could be heard of it since the static came close to drowning everything out. The two demanded to know who the person was and the man eerily stated he was the one who lived there before it just to a commercial break.

![User Image](https://i.imgur.com/wvRUpv3.png) While Virgil was in the shower Marcel would remain glued to the couch the entire time, softly cussing when a commercial would interrupt the show that he was watching. Now that he knew the world of fantasy had some merit to it the Hispanic felt like he needed to dive deeper, even if the entire thought of it did scare the hardened Veteran. He had been all but terrified when Virgil revealed his little secret to him but thankfully a big wolf was acceptable enough for him. At the time he was able to convince himself that it was like a big dog which was enough for him at the time but after their time on their little jog together he was able to come to terms with it. Marcel's attention would snap back to the TV once the commercial break was done and he would see them begin to try and communicate with the spirits using a Ouija Board. The Hispanic remembered how his Mother had hated those things and saw them as nothing but bad omens to the point where she forbade him from ever even touching one. Without a doubt Marcel thought she was just being an old religious kook with her supernatural fears but now he might have been a bit glad he followed her rules. His Dad had never been nearly as strict but he did also make his feelings on such occult things abundantly clear, he acted like he knew they were real tools. It was odd looking back on it but the former Soldier didn't linger on it for too long as Virgil had returned from the shower and asked his question "Seems so, poor sonava b***h left all alone, you know he drew the short straw on this one" he spoke with an amused tone as the panned over to the man who was left by his lonesome at a mass grave. The thought of such a thing made Marcel shudder, he hated those things with a passion. Dumping bodies in a giant hole and leaving them there, he had the pleasure of helping fill one of those a couple times in his life. Never. Again. Although once the new person showed up and the camera began to ******** up trying to record him the Hispanic would now roll his eyes at the show "Oh give me a break" he muttered as he watched and listened to how the man spoke about how he live there before another commercial played and he shook his head "Yeah, modern camera equipment just ******** out like that? OK sure." Marcel was clearly not impressed and his skepticism was showing once again before grinning over at Virgil "Think it was your ex Boyfriend about to show em a good time?" the Hispanic man laughed a little bit, elbowing him in the ribs in amusement. Honestly a part of him actually didn't want to brush it off as nothing but seriously though, this was a ghost hunting TV show. There was no way they'd put themselves in real danger, it was all about ratings with these kind of shows. (Translation: .)

![User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show. User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.](https://graphics.gaiaonline.com/images/s.gif) Virgil grinned when he heard the skepticism in his tone, finding it quite humorous though his amusement slightly died at his little joke. He scoffed at the very idea of it. ”He wasn’t my boyfriend.” The term implied that there was some sort of romantic relationship between the two, which there hadn’t been. Friends with benefits was pushing it since he could hardly remember the two of them ever truly being friendly, David had treated him just like anyone else under his command when they weren’t drinking together or exploring more carnal activities. ”Two guys can ******** without bein’ that.” He joked only to grow somber a second later, worried that he might have given Marcel the wrong impression. ”I suppose you’re th’ first…” He idly scratched at the dark facial hair bordering his jawline as he admitted it, having absolutely no clue why boyfriends felt so weird. That was what they were, wasn’t it? Still…so weird. He took another sip of his drink as he thought back to the show they were watching. The cameras freaking out could be fake although, according to myth, technology wasn’t able to clearly pick up on occult s**t. He glanced back to Marcel with a grin. ”But it kinda sounds like tamin’ wolves has made ya cocky.” He gently pressed against him more while he teased him, resting his forehead against the side of his head. ”Think you’re some kinda expert on th’ supernatural now?” He playfully nipped the edge of his ear before he trailed his mouth lower with his lips barely brushing against his flesh. A growl was released from deep in his throat as he paused at his neck for a few seconds before he pulled away from him with a pale shade of his pink dusting his cheeks. Ahem. His breath was let out slowly as he stretched out his legs before them and propped his feet on the edge of the coffee table. Right. Human. He could do this, damn it. The Spaniard deserved nothing less than his best after all. ”But if it was actually David, I doubt th’ Black Council would allow th’ episode t’air so they’re probably fakin’ it.” He'd reassure as if there was any doubt the crew stood a chance of actually being harmed. People would no doubt lose interest in the show if they didn’t keep things suspenseful. He grunted and shook his head when the show came back on with one man explaining that they couldn't show any more of the encounter with the stranger due to the batteries being unexpectedly drained, which they claimed tended to happen whenever spirits were around since they needed the energy to manifest in the world or something. The stranger, of course, had mysteriously disappeared.

His head was slowly nodded to confirm the question. Virgil shared his body with those that wanted it as if it was worthless to him. It was, in a way , since he was prone to be the self-loathing sort more often than not. Well, there his relationship with Mathew but that didn’t count to him given how toxic and unhealthy that whole mess had been. He smiled at Marcel only to end up glaring at him seconds later when he decided to tease him. Not saying anything to that felt like the best course of actions so he kept his mouth shut, crossing his arms loosely over his chest as he tilted his cup enough to able to stick the straw his mouth. Sulking, as it were, might be all the response the younger man needed. He was too stubborn to simply admit out loud that he liked it. Someone’s ego had been boosted enough for one night! ”More or less.” He took another sip as he eyed Marcel out of the corner of an eye. Some might find it a good thing to have their significant other so interested in their culture, but it made the lycanthrope nervous. He found little about himself to be genuinely intriguing and his knowledge about his own kind was far from being complete. ”They mostly do damage control an’ make sure th’ rules are followed…” He chewed on his lower lip for a brief moment as he thought on a way to better explain it. ”Like say if ah vampire got greedy an’ decided t’kill more than they needed t’…if his own kind didn’t handle it, they’d place ah bounty an’ then make sure none of ya humans ever clued in t’what actually happened t’ th’ victims…However they do it. I’ve heard ah lot of rumors, everythin’ from spreadin’ fakes news, wipin’ memories an’ makin’ witnesses disappear.” It probably went without saying that the monsters out there in the world had little care for mankind and what happened to them. Humans might outnumber the different races, but they were considered little more than sheep by many of them. ”’Least that’s how they run it back in th’ states, can’t really speak for th’ rest of th’ world.” Reaching out with his free hand, he grabbed Marcel’s and interlocked their fingers together. It was nice, this more acceptable way of showing affection. The neck was an erogenous zone, true, but werewolves often touched the area in various ways to show innocent affection toward friends and family alike. Luckily for himself, he always managed to remember what sort of effect the touch had on the Hispanic just before he managed to make a mistake. They were starting to wrap up the show and go over all the strange s**t they had encountered during their stay, but he found it hard to concentrate on what they were saying. Virgil was finding it hard to keep himself from wondering what his companion would think of werewolf culture, so to speak, if he had a chance to experience to himself. Not turning bringing him to their side, but showing him in some way. He supposed he would be left to wonder since he didn't want to risk his life to introduce him to his adoptive family.

In hindsight, perhaps telling a human about the Black Council wasn’t the smartest of side although there was hardly any harm in sharing the information. It wasn’t as if Marcel was still blind to their world after everything that had happened. He wondered in he should be thankful to that terrible demon in a way. He didn’t know if he would have been able to come clean about what he was without that spur of the moment decision to change in order to protect him. His head inclined toward him a bit as he gave a small smile of his own. ”Well, at least ya can’t say it’s borin’, eh?” Chuckling softly, he gave in and rested his head down on his shoulder. He groaned at his joke, not needing to look to get a good guess that the veteran was probably wearing a s**t eating grin. He huffed softly as he tried to rein himself in because even a hypothetical scenario of Marcel being bitten by a vampire made him feel all growly and protective. ”Aye…they are. Unfortunately.” Why everyone wanted to romanticize them was something he had never understood. The ones he had the displeasure of dealing with in the past reminded him of those robots that looked completely human, but only knew how to mimic their behavior. The lack of genuine emotion in them was unsettling. ”Don’t get you’re hopes up on gettin’ your rocks of while ah parasite sucks on your neck, not as great as Hollywood makes it out t’be.” Virgil teased just to show he could joke about it without getting all bent out of shape. He could try, anyway. This was his man to lick and suck on. No one else’s! He shifted to a side, draping a leg across the other man’s lap while he kept his head on his shoulder. The screen was watched out of the corner of an eye though it didn’t take him long to lose interest in the paranormal detective show. The stupid things they could come up with to get views and the channel itself might be one to avoid later on. It was simply too weird seeing parts of the past he had a personal tie to. ”Got any other questions ya wanna get off your chest before th' class is over?” The brute planted a hand against his chest as he said that, gently rubbing as he appreciated the developed pectoral underneath his palm.

![User Image](https://i.imgur.com/wvRUpv3.png) Marcel would nod his head in agreement at the older mans comment, indeed things never seemed to be boring now that Virgil was in his life. It always seemed to be one thing or another with the two of them and heck, they were going camping tomorrow which was something the Hispanic had never done before. Granted something like that could be considered rather ordinary but none the less the Hispanic was a bit excited at the prospect of doing something new. The moment he heard the Werewolf huff out like that he knew that the other man didn't find his little joke not nearly as amusing as he did. Marcel would then chuckle a little bit at his comment about vampires and smirked a little bit "Sounds like you're talking from experience Querido" he commented with an amused smirk before nuzzling up to the other man a bit more "Don't worry, you're the only person who can bite me" the Hispanic spoke with a mischievous tone before reaching up and tapping one of the still healing love bites Virgil had given him. He would then end up laughing a little bit to himself "If a Vampire ever dares try and bite me, I'll reach into their mouth and rip those fangs out myself" well at least he would try, something like a fang or tooth would usually snap off usually instead of rip out. But he would still put in the attempt none the less. Much like Virgil, Marcel had all but tuned out the show by this point, finding much more interest in his next question...and the fact that he was rubbing his pecs which was very much appreciated. He would remain quiet for only a moment as he thought about it, there had been something he had actually wanted to bring up but what was it...ah yes! "Actually there is Querido" he spoke in a bit more of a serious tone but only slightly, he didn't think much of it and he was only curious "I notice that sometimes you get a bit...eh...frisky at times but you almost stop yourself, happens quite a bit actually..." now that he thought of it there were several instances of that happening "Just your way of trying to tease me?" Marcel spoke with an amused grin on his face as he just wanted to convey that it really wasn't that big of a deal to him. (Translation: .)

”Maybe th’ only thing your kind has gotten right is th’ relationship my kind an’ vampires have. Ain’t as crazy as th’ movie make it out t’be, but we’ve fought with ‘em before.” Why his king hated the blood suckers so much and vice versa was something Virgil never really understood. The two were predators, but humans weren’t a primary source of food for werewolves as far as he knew. Munching on long pork was only something he would do in a desperate situation, anyway. He hardly needed the sentiment, but it was still nice to hear Marcel confirm what he was thinking, that he was his.He chuckled as he listened to him, deciding not to ruin his confidence by clarifying that fighting a vampire would be far more difficult than fighting a human. ”If anyone would be insane enough t’do that it would be ya, darlin’.” He picked up his head long enough to place a kiss on his cheek. The slight serious tone that his voice took on made the male feel a bit guarded, fearing his question would be one he wouldn’t like. But as he soon relaxed as he started to explain. Damn, he hadn’t realized he did it enough for it to be noticeable or remembered. It seemed no matter how hard he tried to restrain himself, his wolfish side wasn’t going to be silenced. A sheepish grin formed on his lips as he lifted his head to look at Marcel. ”Mmm, I guess so.” Virgil did love to tease him, but it wasn’t always the case with those almost-bites all the time. ”But..uhm…teasin’ ya isn’t always it. Th’ neck is ah…spot we wolves just go for t’show, erm…” The more he talked, the redder his face became. He could say the naughtiness of things with a straight face, but saying something remotely tender had him tripping over his words like a lovesick schoolboy. ”Affection an’ stuff…same as ah kiss on th’ cheek…” He exhaled the rest of the explanation quickly as if it was the only way he knew how to say it. His head went back to resting on his shoulder as he closed his eyes. ”But I know what that spot does t’ya an’ I don’t wanna leave ya feelin’ frustrated or anythin’.” A soft squeeze was given to his hand while the one on Marcel’s chest grew still, its fingers loosely curling around his dog tags.
