Akela Haimi Silversun Pickups - Lazy Eye That's a really cool song, though the album as a whole disappointed me a bit.

Eric Clapton - Wonderful Tonight
Groodieperson: I'm still making my way through the album (lolslowlistener) but that one and Three Seed are really the only ones I like so far.

I'm an album guy, so I always listen to albums straight through. Gotta take in that ambiance. I became interested in The Silversun Pickups because of The Smashing Pumpkins comparisons and because I'm a sucker for anything shoegaze-y, but the album wasn't diverse enough in style or tone to really keep me interested.
On Topic: Still listening to Skylarking by XTC.

Arctic Monkeys - A Certain Romance
It's a rare occasion that I can get through an album in one sitting. Or even within a few months. Last one I think was the Decemberists' Hazards of Love, because a) favorite band and b) duhrockopera.

I just finished Skylarking, which is also a rock opera/concept album. Now listening to English Settlement by XTC. It's a double album so I likely won't finish this in one sitting.
I feel that as long as an album is well constructed, I don't have too hard of a time listening to it in one sitting. Even when I don't have time to finish an album, I'll just pause it on iTunes, leave, and pick up where I left off when I come back.
But seriously, Hazards Of Love was soooooooo goooooooooooooooood.

I get bored of it, honestly. I'll get through maybe three songs and go "OKAY ENOUGH OF YOU" and go to another artist. I love HoL, but even that took me 3 or 4 tries to get through.
