The Adam Lambert impersonator appears to speak fluent Wookie. They are also a smuggling master and take over seamlessly while Billy recovers in the sleeping quarters.
Unfortunately their kindness exceeds their greed and they can't leave those poor people starving, they do love a good party and can't resist offering to pay for drinks (they must be rich), and naturally the two wookies have bumped into the hyperdrive yet again while making out.

They spend half the day taking care of Billy. What a fool, although they have to admit he's got fantastic smuggling skills.
56.5 tons +2 -2 -0.5 = 56
Well, not good, but not the worst either. the two tons of stuff they have to use as a bribe is replaced by more scavenged goods; unfortunately, some more of the food is going bad. So that's what probably weakened Billy.
