A scream shot out, as the young woman was tossed high into the air. "Please!!! I don't know what you're talking about!! " She begged for mercy, as she then proceeded to fall. Another scream escaping as she fell.....only to be attacked by a black goo like substance upon her legs. The goo icking itself over her, and again she screamed in digust. "My pants....I just bought tho-...!" She cried, yet was cut off as the goo covered her entire body. Muffled screaming now, as she was trapped.
Before, it was just a simple day......Alex was working at the cafe, and serving drinks to those parched from heat. It wasn't busy, yet customers came and went. Suddenly she crashed the front door, and immedately went to her! Demanding something..about someone! But, who? Or, what? She didn't know....and seconds later she was in the air. The masked woman frusterated at her answer and decided to somehow punish her!
Let me soar. Let me fly.
So I can escape this world for evermore.
Are your eyes truth?
Or are your eyes blind to the lies?

Or do you speak for their's?
Shadow growled under her breath at the pathetic being..."You do know. You know very well..." She used one of her minions to bind her, the shadowy essance feeling like goo again such a human.
"Your lies may fool these simple ones...yet not I. I have seen the sky and why it cries......it cries from the darkness, yet the darkness yields. You have harmed a being of light, and if you do not tell me now.....I will let my friend bite out your sight." She threatened, not caring for anyone else in the cafe. Of course, they were screaming in fear...yet her only thought was to get this pathetic girl to spit out the truth not more lies.
Are you the one within the light?
Or are you the one in the darkness?
Does your actions speak as your voice?
Or does your voice cloud your actions?

An alarm went off in the monitor room of the Tower, the giant screen zooming in on an image of a woman being attacked by a black substance at a cafe in the city. Hearing the alarm, Rowena turned away from Jenos and flew to the monitor room. Since the dining area was the next room over, it wasn't very far. Rowena groaned upon seeing the image on the screen. "Not her again. Jenos, if the others get down here before I get back, tell them what's up. I'm going to deal with Shadow." With that, she pulled her hood up and 'ported out to the cafe. "Shadow, let the girl go," she said. "What could she have possibly done to merit this?"
...But nor am I an ugly, spiteful crow.
