Kaori and Nova walked into the Kazekage's office and bowed to her, Daichi, and James, before they settled in front of Ayame's desk. Kaori herself looked at her Kage and could tell, just from watching her and having watched her over the years of the tiger-tamer's time as a shinobi, that her Kage was tired. But who wouldn't be, after what was basically a war with the seven tails? Kaori felt a twinge in her heart at the reminder of the loss of her little brother, but forced herself to brush it off and remain passive, for the moment.
“Lady Ayame? I came to ask if I could request a mission to get back into the swing of things, anything will do, I'm not asking for anything major, just something so I'm not feeling useless. Or a student or two. Just... something.”Kaori knew she had been in a coma, but that didn't stop her from feeling useless, coming into the battle too late to be of real use. She clenched her fists by her sides, the only outward show of her self-incrimination and depreciation. She hated how useless she'd been, and wanted a chance at redemption. Kaori forced herself to relax, showing such emotion wasn't becoming of a Sunagkure Shinobi.

Markov finally decided it was time to get off his a**, walk up the damn tower and ask, no, demand, that he be made a ninja. He hated the idea of him being a Shinobi, he hated the idea of working for the man, or in this case for the woman, but, he had read somewhere that an effective way to bring down a corrupt system was from the inside, and boy oh boy was the current system a corrupt one in Markov’s eyes. The teen yawned and pushed open the doors at the base of the tower. He wouldn’t waste any time chitchatting or asking where it was like he had heard most people did, like he was sure Sayu was like to do whenever she came walking up these steps and asking, if not begging, for a headband. That was also a Sayu thing to do, he wagered. These thoughts occupied his mind as he walked up the stairs up to Ayame’s office. He stood by the door once he was there and saw the people that were inside, first off, Sayuri was there, to his surprise, and another woman he had seen around, white of hair, with a beautiful, massive beast at her side. He knocked on the door with the back side of his palm, slamming his pale sandstone ring against it, making the knocking sound louder than it usually would should he had done it with his knuckles. “Sayuri.” He said her name, and as he did his lips parted into a smile. They always did that when he said it, more so when he used the shortened version of it, Sayu, which was why he barely used it out loud. “I wasn’t expecting you here. You weren’t expecting me here either I assume. I don’t blame you though, but you know how life is, I decided you were right, I’m here to get a headband and stuff.” He said to her, sticking his pinky finger on to his left ear while rolling his eyes when he said the word “headband”. “Where have you been by the way? Hiding under the sand? I haven’t seen in you in forever… More like a few weeks, but that’s forever to me.”
As soon as he entered the office he could tell the mood was set. The Kage looked stressed, Kaori must have sensed that as well. The other man in the office looked... Menacing. There were other shinobi in the office but it seemed they had their own business. Following Kaori's lead he waited until she was finish to Ironicly request that he sought the same things, only perhaps a designated teacher. "My lady I also wish to be of some use. I have learned some techniques from Kaori and Theodin. It couldn't hurt for more training but I should be ready for a mission." He said with a bow of equal amount to his senior Kaori in the room. James nodded to his lover and Kazekage, and looked over all of the new little ninja that were seeming to flood into the office today.It did his heart good to see the next generation here despite the recent destruction.
"Well it seems we have several new kids on the block looking for jobs. I would be more than happy to watch over them on a mission, or I can take to training some of the greener Genin. That should alleviate some of the work load."

Ayame stood behind her desk as more people walked in. The first the pink haired girl from earlier, Sayuri. Then came Kaori and Nova, and then a new genin who she could take a pretty good guess was the new file lying on her desk. She quickly picked it up and gave a smile at the notes that those from the academy had written. If keeping him with his friend was the best way to make him happy then why not? She herself had hated to be separated from her family and friends. The final one to enter, Kaz and his wolf Tsume. At the arrival of the last two Daichi would move from his spot at the side of the desk and move to just beside Ayame. She placed a hand on his shoulder and gave a smile, It does my heart good to see all of you. Sayuri, whatever you wish to say you may say it. If you wish to speak with me alone we can wait until everyone leaves. Kaori, if you will give me a moment I will have a squad assignment for you. As Ayame said this she didn't miss Kaori clenching her fist. Losing her brother while she had been in a coma had not been the best thing for the poor girl. Ayame made a mental note to take her to the grave sight. Kaori had always been a dear friend. She then looked to Markov, Is there any specific color of headband you would like? She said giving him time to choose and talk to Sayuri before addressing the whole room, I need everyone training to their highest potential. That does not disregard my higher ranking shinobi. We need to be prepared for anything that comes and I know we have new genin and some of the older genin are ready to advance. I will be posting squads tonight and giving each of those squads a mission. Then in a couple days we'll have some fun. After all the heartache we've been through I think you deserve it.

Whoa. The office went from three people to six humans and two wolves. Well then. Sayuri quickly became quiet and started to move out of the way for the others. Her hand went into her pocket as she started to get the lollipop out and a smile formed on her lips when she heard a familiar voice. Markov. Well. 'I'll be damned.' Amused, she stuck the lollipop into her mouth. Then he commented to where she been. Her fingers gripped the stick as a soft pop could be heard. "Family issues. Cute though, you noticed I was gone. I was concerned about ya too, haven't heard anything blowin' up in a while, I'm thoroughly impressed with your control right now, Markov." Her voice sounded truly genuine. Not too long after, the Kazekage spoke as her attention went to the woman. Once she had a turn, "I was just wonderin' if I can open up a flower shop. The one ya'll got goin' on right now is sorta dead." Squads huh? She wonder who will be her squadmates and her teacher as well. Last she was informed, bunch of higher ranking shinobi here didn't know much genjutsu. Only a handful or so, at least that was the impression she recieved.

Current Attire: Think Ino's outfit but light grey instead. Her hair is up in a high ponytail as it would brush to her lower back. Headband Location: Around her waist Appearance: Along with her natural wavy pink hair which was waves of light and darkness that reached to her hips if she had it free from any binding. Her eyes are stormy grey in color with tiny green speckles that could only be seen if you were right at her face. Slender with hourglass figure, her chest was a simple firm B-cup with firm round butt, Sayuri was obviously not well for any kind of strength but she was in fact, flexible and practiced yoga along with Pilates every day. High cheek bones with feminine jawline, she sometimes wears her lip piercing and does not have her ears pierced, at least, until she becomes chuunin and receive her earrings. As of right now, Sayuri has three piercings. One on the lip and the other two not exactly visible. Sayuri always, ALWAYS have a black choker on.
Sayuri was seen with teal colored make up 99% of the time. It was usually called warpaint. It's a streak of teal over her eyes and goes from hairline to hairline. (Think of basic mask with holes) She usually also wear hawk's feathers behind her right ears, they are considered Sunagakure national bird.

Markov stuck his finger out of his ear and examined it, there was a small ball of earwax, which he flicked off by digging the nail of his thumb on to the ball of his pinky, and then quickly moving it, launching the earwax away from everyone. When he heard why she had been away his smile quickly faded, turning into an expression of worry, family was important to her, and whatever was important to her was important to him… at varying degrees of course. “Is everything alright?” The orphan took a step toward his friend, but before he could continue talking, the Kazekage addressed him. Markov tensed, tried to shift his expression to a more laid back one, but his worry for Sayuri’s family still lingered. “If it can be exactly like this, I’ll appreciate it.” He told Ayame, taking off his red headscarf and placing it on the woman’s desk. “Just as long, and just as red.” Then, he looked around at all the people, and wolves, that had gathered in the office; what was this, a zoo? As the Kazekage spoke, he moved about the room until he was next to Sayuri, before Ayame finished talking, he leaned over to Sayuri, lowering his head discretly to whisper “Smells like a damn zoo in here.” into her ear, chuckling afterward, then he returned to stand as he was before, arms crossed and looking at their general. How many higher ranking officers were in here, Markov wondered, and how many of them could he take on if need be… Not many, he wagered, but she spoke of training, hopefully that training would come in handy someday… “And I’ll have you know, Sayuri, not many things to blow up as of late, although in regards to my self control, you have no one else to thank but yourself. You always do get so angry when I try to have fun.” He said to his friend with a shrug and a mischievous smile.

Kaori was silent for a long time, as she listened to her Kage speak. She watched the others in the room, a young girl with pink hair she had missed previously, and a dark skinned male that seemed rather full of himself. She heard his comment about a zoo, with her superior hearing, and grit her teeth, but said nothing. He would learn eventually, respect was earned, not given, and insulting the treasured shinobi partners was not a way to gain respect. Besides, both wolves and the lone tiger were all well groomed. She shook her head slightly, and bowed when she was given the information about her team, but waited until all other matters were attended to before she spoke up once more,
“Lady Ayame? I'm sorry to keep bothering you, but I was wondering if I could trouble you for permission to open a shop, here in Suna? My mother had an old botany shop, that also doubled as a pharmacy of sorts. It's long since been abandoned, since her death; but I'd like to get it up and running again, try my hand at making medicines and poisons, if you so require. I was also thinking of taking up tailoring, when you don't require me for missions.” She hoped that her Kage would allow this, since it would help keep her busy during her off time. She couldn't stand the thought of being idle at the moment, and would do anything, if it meant helping others and keeping herself occupied. Nova sat off to the side, eyes narrowed as she observed the room and listened to her partner speak once more with their Kage. Nova worried about her partner, but wanted what Kaori wanted, so if Kaori wanted to work until she dropped, Nova would be there to catch her when she fell.

Ayame nodded to everyone then handed Markov a headband that matched the head scarf in length and color, Do not hesitate to ask me for anything. Welcome to the ranks of the Suna shinobi. Sayuri you may have your shop and Kaori as well. Ayame moved from behind the desk grabbing her chakra sabre from behind it as she did. She motioned to Daichi who moved with her, when she reached the door she turned back to everyone in the office. If anyone needs me I will be in the academy doing some training of my own. If you need to train please do so. Ayame gave a smile and the tiredness seemed to vanish as she looked at the future of her village, It will be nice to see the academy and village bustling again. She said this in a quiet tone then patted Daichi on the side as they headed out. {Exit to Academy}

Hearing about what was about to take place he felt a slight bit of urgency as well as relief. A period of enjoyment sounded like a good idea. His ears perked up when he heard that Kaori wanted to open a shop, A tailor shop as well. That could really benefit him in the long run. But he did have some things he could pick up with the money he had acquired so far. Leaning forward some he whispered some to Kaori. "If its not too much trouble, if you planned on doing that now could I come along to buy a few things?" Kaz was intending to get hims some bracers. It was a much needed component for him to battle people with superior speed. Should anyone make it past his spear he would have to deal with their weapons in close range. It was possible for him to craft a spear more unique to his abilities.

Kaori and Nova bowed to the Kage as she passed out the door, then turned to Kaz, since he was apparently her student now,
“Of course, you're welcome to come. I need to make a stop here in Suna, I want to get a couple items, and I know the shop here is the best place to get them. After that, we can go to Takumi.” Kaori and Nova were both ready to get out of the crowded room, but Kaori was ready to get something done other than talking. She wasn't looking forward to a party of any kind, much less one that lasted as long as Ayame was saying it was going to. She sighed slightly and brushed some hair out of her face, debating doing something different with it, since it was starting to annoy her as it was. She turned on her heel and left the office, then the tower, heading for the Suna shopping dome.
Smirking slightly as he followed in behind Kaori to the mart. Hoping he could find something locally instead of having to wait for the main village of artisans.

James thought that that would work just fine for him, and that it would be simple enough to hit the academy to keep his skills sharp and help some of the tikes along.
James stood, kissed Ayame one last time, and then departed.

Th concern Markov had about her family didn't go unnoticed. That was normal. They always treat him well and fed him up every time he visited her house. Stuck the lollipop back in her mouth, luckily her parents were fine. Injured from the attack but other than that, they were just fine and now fully healed to fend for themselves. Sayuri heard Markov's whisper as she brought an elbow up to his ribs. "Be nice." Sayuri whispered back but was smirking at his comments. He commented about her being angry when he tries to have fun as she rolled her eyes, "There's a line between fun and damaging property." Once Markov got his headband, she was approved for shop as a wide smile can be seen. Perfect. That would be best news for her parents ever since she told them she was a lesbian and now they think they would never have grandchildren. Distracted, people were leaving to the academy, one by one. With that, Sayuri started to walk towards the door too and grabbed Markov's wrist and dragged him with her, "Now come on, let's go to the academy and find the teacher. Huh. The last name sounds familiar. I wonder if that's Theo's dad. Hm."

Between her hitting his ribs and then dragging him by the wrist, there was not much space for him to protest, or do much of anything. “We all can’t have fun the same way I guess.” He said as he stole his arm away from his friend and shrunk his shoulders in a shrug. “You never answered my question. Is everything alright? What happened?” He walked closely behind her and would hound her with questions such as these until she answered.
