Shikatsu, having been training for a while, had decided to finally talk to Ibara about something. He walked into the hokage's building and climbed up the spiral stairs. He walked into the corridor and to the door of his office. He then knocked on the door and waited to be called in.

XXXXX Ibara's clone who was taking a break from some of the paper work that seemed to never end leaned back in his chair as the knock came at the door. "Come in." He shouted to whomever was awaiting entry. The clone stood and decided to stretch its legs turning to face the massive panoramic window that dominated the office and looked over the town. The clone watched as Ibara entered the academy wondering what he was going to learn. When Shikatsu entered the clone would still be facing away from the door and looking out the window.

Shikatsu entered at the answer from Ibara. Well, his clone anyways. He looked in and saw him standing and staring out the window. He approached the desk and cleared his throat. "Excuse me, Ibara. I have a special request." He said as he looked out the window, wondering what he was looking at.

XXXXX Ibara turned his head slightly to the sound of Shikatsu's voice. "A special request you say?" Noticing that Shikatsu was looking out the window as well Ibara's clone turned away from the window and sat once more at his desk. "What would that be?" It seemed the shinobi of the village had quite a few special requests lately. The clone waited patiently for Shikatsu's request before passing any sort of judgement.

Shikatsu thought for a moment how he would ask and just decided to come out with it. "Sir, I was wondering if I could have permission to leave the village and travel to the sage lands." He asked almost hurriedly. He had been contemplating going for quite some time but never had a good enough time to go. The village seemed to be safe now and everything was looking up for once.

XXXXX Ibara's clone raised an eyebrow to this request. Another person wanting to go to the sage lands. Were the summons handing out cookies to all who ventured there or something lately? Ibara's clone taped his fingers on the desk in thought before he spoke. "Sage lands, hmm." Ibara's clone knew full well what the sage lands were and what that venture entailed. "It is a very, dangerous and taxing journey, are you positive you're up to the task?" the clone asked and looked at Shikatsu awaiting his reply.

Jocasta walked into the Offices and stood in the doorway of the Kages Office, she looked at the two talking. She didn't regret the way that she acted or her leaving, she needed that time to think that she certainly did. But, she was going to tell him his honest opinion about what he had done.... whether it was for personal reasons or whatever. He half knew that she would have reacted that way, she completely proved herself and most likely him right. She just patiently in the doorway and observed.
Shikatsu knew that this would be a long and hard journy, but he was ready for this. "Yes, I believe I am ready Ibara. "He said thinking about how it would go once he got there.

XXXXX The clone looked sideways at Shikatsu. "I may be your friend but, you will address me as Hokage, or sir." The clone glared at Shikatsu. "If you show such disrepsect toward the Sages they WILL kill you." Ibara's clone emphasized the word "will," to make sure the point was driven home. "You are free to go, although you must await the return of Ryouichi before you depart, understood?"
XXXXX Ibara's clone had detected the return of the genin he had spooked earlier when he went on his tirade against the new genin to the ranks. "Jocasta, welcome back." He said though his line of sight to her was blocked by Shikatsu's body. "Please, come in." he said and awaited her to enter the room. He knew she feared the Uchiha, and had tried to break the news to her softly. That unfortunately did not happen, and now he had a lot of explaining to do. Well, in all honesty he probably shouldn't have to explain this to a genin, but he figured that having too many in the village fear him would ultimately be a bad thing. "Sit, sit." He motioned to a seat and waited for Shikatsu to leave before speaking to Jocasta.

Shikatsu bowed slightly. "Thank you for letting me go. And, sorry, Lord Hokage." He said apologetically as he rose. He turned to see the Shinobi he saw once before enter and guessed his time was up. "I'll be at the gates if you need me. Looks like you're up." He said as he vanished from the office.

Jocasta walked in and looked at him, she crossed her arms and watched as the other shinobi disappear " Thats not that impressive... if he actually walked out that would be more impressive... " She mumbled under her breath, as soon as he left she shot her gaze to Ibara. She wasn't happy that Ibara did what he did, but he had his reasons " Look, don't make excuses or whatever. I have admired you since I was a child, much of my time in the academy I looked up to you. I might not like what you have done, but there is the man i have always admired under there... under the BS your just Ibara Yamanaka. " She put some scrolls on the desk and took a step back away from him, she nearly refused to look at him ion the face " Those are missions that I have completed over the last couple days... "
She walked to the window and looked out at the open sky, this was the closest that she had ever been to a Hokage or any Kage " I don't hate you Ibara, doesn't mean I can be a seventeen year old girl and throw a fit. " She laughed to herself took a deep breath in and touched his shoulder.

XXXXX Ibara's clone listened to the genin speak and flinched when she touched his shoulder. Ibara's clone did not like to be touched and actually now more than ever feared becoming close to anyone knowing what it would mean in the future, he'd have to choose the people he became close with very carefully, although he feared the option of choice was out of the question. "Excuses? I have no excuses. I did what I did for the village. Nor should I have to explain what I did to you. I am explaining out of courtesy." He glared at the woman standing behind him and stood from his desk.
XXXXX He stepped back from her his blue eyes scanning. "Trust me, I know all about your past and not all Uchiha are like that." Ibara's clone smirked. "Nor am I a full uchiha, I am only half. A mudblood if you will. I may look like an Uchiha and have the same abilities, but I assure you, everything that was Ibara Yamanaka is still in tact." The noticed a piece of paper that shouldn't have been out and so easily visible on his desk and quickly shoved it under some other papers. "I am glad you admire me, but as a kage I must not only be admired but feared as well. If not..." the clone shook its head. "If not, then the village would be in a state of pandemonium, people would be doing things willy nilly with no respect for the village or its defenders because I am weak, and would not be able to stop them. Without that fear, I would not be a respected leader." The clone rubbed absently at it's temples feeling a slight headache. "If you wish Ibara is at the academy willing to teach you some more, he has just finished a pretty drastic training session where he has learned quite a few techniques." The clone sat on a couch near the window and looked out toward the academy.
