"Spectre Girl symbolizes justice," Henrietta said quickly. "If I came as someone else then it would simply look like a defeat to the enemy. Like this, everyone knows what my victory stands for. The victory of justice."
Henrietta tilted her head to keep her eyes on Eunmi. Normally she didn't like looking people in the eyes, normally it made her feel awkward. However, with Eunmi she didn't. She could keep eye contact.

"I suppose so," Eunmi said and sat up. "So, does Spectre Girl have time for lunch?"
Eunmi paused, thinking about how long the tournament might last, and wondering if they would get a lunch break.
"If we get a break, I mean. Or yanno, if we lose.."

Lunch? No, she couldn't. Henrietta fumed.
Wait, why?
Cause! She's going out with a girl!
You!
No, not me, an alter ego. A pretend person.
So take the mask off.
I can't!
Henrietta bit her lip. "How about dinner?"
Great
I can stand her up at this ego, and pick her up as myself, right?
Yes, that plan won't backfire at all.
Shut up.

"Ohh," Eunmi frowned. Dinner? By then the tournament would definitely be over. Wouldn't Henrietta be lonely if she left her to get dinner by herself? But then again, what did it matter, really?
Eunmi was just being friendly. Or maybe a little more than that. The korean girl pretty much just went with the flow of things, not really having much a plan. But dinner could be fun.
"Sure," Eunmi said, a sly grin on her face. "But I might try to de-mask you."

"Oh no," Henrietta said as her hands rose to protect her mask, "I can't let you do that."

"Ah well," Eunmi stretched and stuck out her tongue. "You gotta take it off to eat anyway."

Then, without thinking about what she was saying, Henrietta said, "Then perhaps we can just skip the dinner."

"You have to wait for your friend, don't you?" Henrietta asked.
Then she realized what she had said before, blushed furiously and thanked Arceus it had gone over Eunmi's head.
Nice save.

"Yeah... hey, why don't we go for dinner together?" Eunmi said cheerfully. "I bet I could invite some other people. We can eat, get drinks, it'll be fun."

Nononononononononoabort!
"No, no, I can't stay that long. I have to patrol at night, you know," Henrietta said, recalling every comic book she'd ever read at this point for pointers and help without hesitating, or trying not to.

"Ohsocoool," Eunmi said and then nodded. She would have asked to tag along, because she was a dork, but figured she'd just get in the way.
"Too bad..."
