«A»ofter making his way through the city and to the center building which held the offices for the Kazekage, Saqr pushed his way into the cool, dim, interior and felt the temperature drop on his skin immediately. It didn't take long to reach the long hallway which led to the office he was looking for. He took in the guards standing still and motionless around the doors, a stark comparison to the noisy bustle of the street outside. They stood in front of a steel door and as Saqr drew up to it, ignoring the two figures who didn't even spare him a glance, he rapped thrice upon the door.
The noise produced was loud and immediate, ringing down the hallway and into the room beyond. Saqr wasn't sure if the Kazekage would be in the office, but had thought of that on the way here. He had decided that just approaching and knocking would be the easiest and most effective approach. If they answered, he knew the Kazekage would be in. If not, then he could interrogate the two guards around him to find where he needed to go next. After dropping his hand from the door, he stepped back and crossed his arms, a timer in his meticulously planned out head already counting down, waiting for a response or the lack thereof.

«H»e didn't need to wait long. After a brief couple of seconds where the two guards shared a look, the one on Saqr's left spoke.
"She left." Without a move from his lower body, he signaled back down the hallway with his head, towards where Saqr had just arrived from.
Saqr brought his head around to bear on the guard who spoke to him. His eyes flicked down the hallway when the man made a motion towards the exit with is head and it brought a sigh out of Saqr's lips. He only nodded and left in swoosh of sky blue cloth and a smell of deep desert and heavy salt. He'd come back later and get what he needed, Anyway, he already received the go ahead, he didn't have to wait to train. This brought up his mood and as he left the office building and made his way back into the crowded Suna streets, he began formulating a schedule for the training ahead.

«S»aqr made his way back into the central hub of the village and down the hallway that led to the Kazekage's office. The two men standing around the steel door were the same as before. They cast him looks dripping with derision, but he ignored them outright. Marching up to the steel door, he knocked once more.
Rap, rap rap. It was slower than before, but just as hard. He walked backwards until he was against the far wall and leaned, keeping an eye on the door.

The clone of Ayame would open the door and look at the new genin. "Hi there, here for you headband I take it." She would then walk back to the desk and produce a headband. "Here ya are. I'll let you know that the kazekage has a party going on right now as 75% of the villagers were killed in the recent battle with choumei. You can either train or join the rest of the shinobi. Other than that welcome to Suna."
«S»aqr stood standing against the wall, opposite the steel door, waiting casually for a response from within and still ignoring the guards on either side. When the door opened and revealed the women in front of him, he smiled, although you couldn't tell through the many layers of fabric that intertwined his face. He didn't speak much, just nodded in response to her question and then reached out to grab the headband from her. Once in his hands, he pushed the entire head section back to reveal his dark, short hair beneath. He tied the band around his head, before dropping the cloth back into place and obscuring all but the very edge of the glittering metal from view.
"Thank you," came his low, rumbling, and generally unfriendly voice. He looked at the person who he didn't realize was a clone as he said this. Then, listened as she went on to describe the location of the others, nodding his thanks once she was finished before raising his hand in a weak sign of goodbye and turning on his heels to take off. He wasn't sure exactly what his plan was, but it was probably best to make an appearance at the...celebration. It seemed odd to throw a party after the mass slaughter of the village and loathed whoever thought it up. He could always get behind a good, solid wake. It matched his personality, unlike the friendly social occasion he was now thinking of attending.
He left the building and entered into the windy stricken streets of Suna before heading off for the others.
The thoughts of a excited kunoichi were racing like windstorms “this is it!”. A newly named genin arrives to the Kazekage's tower, promptly, to finally accept her well-earned headband. Oh! My headband will be gorgeous, perfect in all its state and gleaming with purpose and pride of the sorts. Sadayo could not refuse the urge to beam a pride-filled smile. She thought she deserved a little sense of accomplishment, even if it waged war on her focus. She felt it almost suiting to be captivated by this awestruck state of mind. The moment wouldn't last though. Soon, Sadayo would be facing more strenuous tasks that wouldn't allow her to feel so positive until its end; and she was willing to endure.
This day, has so far, felt dreamlike. The long awaited moment of being acknowledged and to receive proof of her dedication was daring to be the fuel to motivate foolish of ideas to come to fruition: although, stunts like chasm leaping and any showy challenges against a bed of giant scorpions would have to wait. Her story as an actual shinobi was just beginning. Besides, she thought, why would I want to spring board this story into catastrophy? No thank you, I would certainly want to avoid creepy scorpions. She silently assures herself that things should suit to her plans and passes through the entrance of the Tower.
She was following in the footsteps of ninja who've come before her, (although some may have moved more urgent than her own feet) to state a claim to their place as genin. The trek to the door of the Lady Kazekage's office led Sadayo up a few staircases and wove through several, long hallways, breezing by more than a few windows, slipping around a corner or two, and beyond several doorways. The passage seems rather easy to remember and seems straightforward to a practiced hand. These solid walls were playing host to a monumental moment for Sadayo; this will not be the last time she'll find herself here. The tension building as eagerness rising in chest began to waiver when she finally came upon the office door. This was no time to hesitate, the door to her future was waiting to be opened. She would reach out and knock twice, unaware if she was addressing an empty room or interrupting an on-going conversation.
A multitude of chakra golems ran up to the door and opened it with a flourish as a clone of the kazekage sat at the desk, "Hello, come for your headband?" She would say reaching into the drawer and pulling one out. "As is always said welcome to the ranks of the Suna shinobi. This is a place of teamwork and hope. Most everyone is usually in the academy and you can train there. I wish you good luck in your journey." She would say throwing the headband to the girl.
Sadayo was taken aback after the door opened. She caught an eyeful of plenty unusual golems which caught her off guard. Consequently, Sadayo found them distracting enough to stub over her greeting. "Y-yes...!" She took few steps forward, just enough to seem apart of a conversation with the Kazekage as she continues with a noticeably brief, but meaningful, address and welcome. Sadayo would bow her head quickly and a prompt call to catch her airborne headband. "Of course." Everything fell so suddenly into place, even her headband. "Thank you. I will do my best."
Sadayo glances at her handband, held up in both palms, back to the kage and bows while backing out like a wind-up toy. She wanted one last, somewhat discreet, look at the weird golems as she stepped behind the doorway. Her hand tears away its clutch on the headband to search blindly for the doorknob to shut the door in front of her.
When all was said and done. Sadayo finally stood upright on the other side of the office door, staring off onto the nearest space to mull over what had just occurred. She tried to dismiss her irregular behavior by her train of thinking: lady Kazekage mentioned others. These others were supposedly all piling in the academy, which was perfect for Sadayo's interest. Maybe she'll find someone to play with. She begins to tie off her headband around her waist and begin her journey to the academy. {Exit to Academy}
The beast lumbered past the door guard (who subsequently went on medical leave after the beast opened the door, though a firm link has not been established between the two events), meandered through the lobby, and then climbed up the stairs with a purpose. Its heavy footfalls echoed throughout the hallway, coming to a stop outside the door to the Kazekage's Office. From the lobby, the sounds of a door swinging open and shut again would be heard, followed by a high-pitched wail. After a few moments, like the rumbling of the earth itself opening up and revealing endless yawning chasms, a moan would echo down:
"Teeeeeeaaaaa."
Then all would grow suspiciously quiet, and the scents of food and many different kinds of tea would waft throughout the building. The beast had not, in fact, entered the Kazekage's Office, but rather into the kitchen directly across the hall.
Nearly an hour later, Bast walked out of the kitchen with a full flask of tea at her hip and the bones of some strange bird neatly piled on a table behind her. With light footsteps and the poised posture of royalty, she returned to the lobby and addressed the receptionist:
"I'm going to need to get back into shape. I'll be working as a police officer in the interim. If there are any new recruits you'd like to send my way, please do."
There were a few objections, most notably that Bast's inaction might have made her a bit out of touch with the recent legal changes in the Village, which she dismissed out of hand:
"I've had a lot of time to read. Changes in the law were just one of many things I looked after while I was down."
With that, she made her way out of the building, toward a place that oft went unvisited: the ANBU Headquarters.
Aaliyah squirmed as she she was carted into the oval office. Her eyes lighting up as they fell on the headbands that lay scattered about. This was it. Everything she had ever wanted, her ticket to explore this worlds treasures. The danger, the excitement, hell maybe even the romance! All bundled up into a piece of cloth with a gleaming hunk of metal attached to it. Of course she wasn't completely out of the woods yet. She still had to suffer from the boring prattle of whoever was to be her sensei. As far as Aaliyah was concerned that couldn't pass quick enough. Her thoughts were cut short by the sharp words of the Jounin behind her. "This one was caught scaling up the building, presumably up to your window Lady Kazekage. Though I haven't the slightest idea why she wouldn't simply take the front door to you." The ninja gave Aaliyah a pointed look before leaving Aaliyah alone in the Kazekage's office. The moment the echo of his footsteps could no longer ring in her ears Aaliyah hoped up to the desk of the Kazekage hands clasped in front of her like an innocent school girl. The smile on her face was akin to the of a dog rushing to welcome it's master after a long day home. "I made to Genin! I do believe that means I may receive my headband now no?" Aaliyah spoke while bouncing back and forth on the tips of her feet.

Ayame looked up and raised a brow as a Jonin brought in a smaller female. A genin. Once the Jonin was out of ear shot she gave out a laugh as Daichi just tilted his head at the female. Humans were weird, he thought before laying his head back down. Well, never had anyone try to climb up here. You'll have to tell me how far you've got later. She said chuckling. She sifted through her paperwork before finding the profile on the new genin. She looked it over then leaned down and opened the drawer pulling out a headband, Aaliyah, it's nice to see you graduated. Know this, once this headband is on, you are officially a Suna shinobi. Nothing is easy here. She handed the headband over, honestly enjoying the girl's enthusiasm. She would definitely go far.

Having made the Kazekage laugh practically had Aaliyah beaming at her own antics. Though in truth most everything of the outside world sort of fell away from her as her eyes fixated on the headband. Only managing to catch the last bit about what the Kazekage said about nothing being easy. Aaliyah quickly grabbed the headband as if by some twist of fate it would be taken away from her. Mmm smells like freshly laundered clothes.. Wrapping the bauble to rest around her neck like a choker Aaliyah spoke with a sing-song tone "Well I to be honest I would get bored of this job if it was easy." Indeed she would, in fact her mind was already filling with thoughts of bloodshed. Mostly her own to be more specific. All of which only severed to excite her further. For a moment Aaliayh even went starry eyed and held her cheeks though she quickly snapped out of this trying to cover up it up with a small cough. "Anyway I supposed I should head over to the academy or dojo to get started right away! Ooooh I would if someone will pick a fight with me on the way there. Or if I'll get stabbed~" Aaliayh was already rushing out the door and halfway down the hallway before she called out "THANK YOU FOR THE HEADBAND!!"

Raizo stepped into the Kazekage's office, keeping his attention firmly on the desk he cleared his throat. "Raizo Kurogane, reporting as ordered." Honestly it was a proud moment as an academy graduate, but he kept his expression neutral. He didn't need to let his ego get the better of him, not at this stage. He'd gotten this far through hard work and determination, even if people said that he couldn't do it without an arm. It just meant he was weak, and had to work that much harder.
Starting today, after receiving the headband that would mark him officially one of Sunagakure's genin.

Ayame looked at the other graduate as he came into her office. Daichi stretched and popped his jaw tilting his head at the boy. More of them? The kazekage smiled and grabbed another headband from the drawer tossing it to the bright eyed newcomer, "Welcome to the ranks. As I said to Aaliyah nothing is easy here. You earn your place and I am sure you both will." She said her blue-green eyes shining.
XXXXX XXXXX Yuna knocked on the door as she opened the door slightly and poked her head in. "Lord Kazekage? I am here to get my headband" She said feeling awkward interrupting such an important person for herself.
