Adira flinched as something snaked around her waist. A massive hand wrapped over her mouth. Adira's breath left her lungs, a shudder passed through her body. A wall of emotions mentally hit her. Feelings of covet, lust and hunger...She turned her head but caught only the side of a face. It was good enough: Xixilblug.
Adira's mind flashed to Her experiences with Heegh almost instantaneously. No. She couldn't go back. Her mind went to Eztli's instructions.
"Here, take this gun. It works very simply, just point it at what you want to kill, and pull that thing down there called a trigger. It should have enough bullets in it to last a while, just be careful with it and don't point it at me, yourself, or our friends if we manage to see them.”
Adira struggled against Xixilblug's grip. He, fortunately, underestimated her and left one of her hands open to bring up the gun. The world seemed to freeze. Silence. She held the gun up to his temple.
"Let go." Adira said, softly, dangerously, her eyes beginning to glow and her hair beginning to spread out as if some invisible wind brought it into the air. Xixilblug's grip tightened. Of course. Adira's eyes closed and she pulled the trigger ((FOR LACK OF A BETTER WORD)).
Boom.
His grip immediately released, Adira came crashing to the ground, earning more than a few bruises.
Adira opened one eye before cautiously opening the other. She glanced behind her and gagged. Xixilblug's lifeless body was falling to the ground, a huge, gaping hole in his face. Adira's body gave a few dry heaves and another shudder as tears sprang to her eyes.

The rifle Adira fired actually let out a burst of bullets, but it was so fast that it sounded like one giant blast. Little blood actually got on her, but the gory spray against the wall behind Xixilblug was testament to how powerful the firearm was, his corpse stumbling backwards and falling over with a golf-ball sized hole in his face. Eztli turned at once at the sound of gunfire blaring so close to him, and saw Adira ready to weep while still holding the smoking firearm that she had used to kill her would be captor. He immediately guessed at what happened, and quickly but carefully wrapped an arm around her shoulder, making sure the gun wasn't pointed at him. He guided her towards what he assumed was the way out, fighting his way through. There was loud combative noises and explosions on the upper floor. More help had arrived.
“You did what you had to... Come on, let's get out of here..”
- - - - - -
The black merchants were beginning to panic. A good number of them had been lost in the explosions, and then the crazed vampire lady had pulled out a Suppressor and started blasting them all in Elite's armor. Suddenly, a wall was destroyed, blown to bits by an unknown force. A strange, humanoid robotic... thing... had broken through. Quickly in the flash of an eye, it let out a loud sonic blast that shattered parts of the floor in it's direction, causing great pain and deafness in the angels and others around them. Their strongest angel attempted to freeze it's legs, but the thing just ran straight at him, shaking off the ice attack like it was nothing, and slammed the holy being against a wall with a metallic claw against his neck. The angel known as Ralis tried sending a few million volts through the machine, but even that failed, the robot somehow rerouting the electricity back into the angel, causing him to cry out in pain and pass out.

Veni was on the ground disabled for the time being. He already has sensitive ears and extra loud noises that causes the earth to split and quake weren't good. Rosemary's armor helped filter a good amount of it from her ears, but she still fell on her butt from the rumbling. She recovered though as semi-awesome angel passed out and shot at the enemy robot...but observed she wasn't doing much damage and that the thing had changed its direction. As the thing ran at her Veni vanished and in its shadow a blade held by darkness appeared that stabbed into a leg joint.

The machine stumbled, but seemed to recover fairly quickly, scanning the area for what jammed it's joint with a blade. Twisting it's leg in a certain manner, it managed to bend, then snap the blade used, though a few sparks flew from the robot, and a black fluid leaked. It seemed to try to calculate where the attack came from, and fired it's sonic blast fairly close to Veni's location. Debris and rubble flew, and although the robot missed, it probably damaged the vampire's sensitive hearing again and caused him a headache.
During this momentary distraction, the other warrior angels tried to run at it, attacking what seemed like weak spots. Their mechanical adversary fended off blows, but not before taking a few hits in a few joints, emitting a few more sparks. Seeming to have enough, the robot turned something in the palm of it's claws while still slashing and swinging it's limbs at it's attackers. It suddenly then emitted billowing clouds of freezing cold... Only one or two of the angels dodged this attack, the others were frozen entirely solid, then shattered.

(scratches head at what it would do to Veni considering he doesn't even have a normal body at the moment and can't be struck down easily in that form...)
During the distraction, Rosemary switched out weapons and shot the thing with several armor piercing type bullets that apparently wasn't strong enough to go through to the other side, but bounced around on the inside.

*BOOM, BOOM, BOOM, BOOM!*
The slug rounds bounced around violently inside the machine, causing damage as it twitched and jerked about. It's hands seemed to switch between mechanisms rapidly, shooting out ice clouds, sonic blasts, and then rockets, sending deadly projectiles flying into walls that exploded with deadly force. The thing seemed to be out of control, until Rosemary placed two more shots into it's main section, a small explosion sounding from inside, black smoke pouring from inside. It then toppled over, still firing its weaponry, until another robotic foot crushed it's severely weakened body. A second robot, of the same design, had appeared out of the same hole. Blue hot flames appeared in the palms of it's claws, and it seemed ready to use them with deadly intent on Rosemary, until unexpected sniper rifle fire came from outside, and destroyed one of it's arms.
Out of seemingly nowhere, several Limbo military soldiers ran in, firing the same type of rifle Rosemary had at the second machine, timing their shots, so that there was continuous fire while one or two others were reloading. Eventually, the machine blew out it's back portion in a burst of flame, and fell over as well. At this time, the downed angel had recovered as well...
Seeing themselves becoming surrounded, the remaining thieves and traders decided to try to make a break for it. The few that made it outside ran into a barricade of vehicles and officers and soldiers. Few, if any, escaped.

The gun dropped from Adira's hands. Her eyes were turned blue by the tears. She felt Eztli's warm arm come around her shoulders and although she still didn't trust the angel-reaper, she allowed herself to be cuddled in his arm.
"I...I've never killed someone.." Adira babbled softly as he lead her to the outside, "I...I'm not weak..It's just...In Hell, you can't kill." She sniffled, "I...I mean, it's the underworld." A hiccup and wet laugh escaped, it wasn't a happy laugh, "When...when you hurt someone enough to make them"Die"--be it demon or soul-- It always comes back. The life in their eyes doesn't fade. Not...Not like..." her body shook, "I've...I've never been outside Hell. I..I've never killed."
--
Part of the ice cloud did hit Banquo. However, unlike the others, the hell hound did not freeze. Rather, he smirked. The ice gave him even more firepower.
Once the Robot was finished with and while Ophelia finished pouncing/capturing a few of the traders, Banquo's wise eyes looked around for his mistress.

Rosemary sat there for a little while all shivers from the second near burning experience. The other one having gone out of control had caused her to lose balance and to fly in the direction some of the explosions sent her. Veni had made it to a more safe area and was generally unaffected by it. He came out from hiding after the bang bang booms ceased and checked on Rosemary.
Veni then picked up the broken pieces of his ruined weapon. That was the second one he lost by a similar mean too. The last one broke by being stuck between the armor plates on a hunter demon (or something like that, don't quite remember).
When they were able to, they went back to Jacob to check on him. He hadn't finished regenerating so they did something they hadn't thought of for some reason when they were more occupied and covered him so he wouldn't be exposed when he was better. He also felt a lot colder than usual due to blood loss, so they tried to warm him up but there really wasn't anything those two could easily do in that area. They never thought to even carry a heat charm or something.

”It's little consolation, but you had to do it, Adira. It was a 'him or you' situation...”
Eztli tried his best to comfort Adira, and noticed that the black merchants had pretty much vanished. When they reached the upper levels, they saw that their friends had arrived, along with a number of Limboian authorities. Seeing the hellhounds, he motioned them over to Adira so they could provide better comfort for her.
The slaves were immediately transported somewhere safe, where they could be cleaned up and make contact with families or communities where they had been separated from. Thinking it best, the group returned to the soul fortress as soon as possible, where they could recuperate themselves, and Adira could calm herself and gather her wits after such a stressful situation.

Ophelia and Banquo took bounding leaps over to Adira and Eztli. In order to be more comfort-giving and soft they switched to their wolf forms again. Ophelia was the first to rub against Adira's leg, almost as if she were a very large house cat. Banquo licked her hand, accessing with his eyes if she was hurt. He found that she wasn't upset by any physical pain.
Adira crouched down on the ground, running her hands over her hounds' long hair before pulling them closer and hugging them. She told them with a soft voice what happened.
"You're okay now though?" Banquo asked. Adira nodded...then shook her head...then nodded again. "You did what you had to do." Ophelia consoled, a whisper in Adira's pointed ear. "But...but..." "Shhhh..." The wolves replied in unison.
Five minutes later and Adira was still a bit shaky but able to cope.

The medics worked their magic on Jacob and helped keep him warm and gave him things to boost his regeneration process. When he was ready to leave there wasn't much they could do to keep him under care because he was immortal and nothing was ever going to be life threatening so they had no real argument other than he'd be more comfortable with them.
Despite slashing several opponents down, Sephiroth's blade was blood free and he had a corrupted soldier or fake one who surrendered very close to to the tip of it as he led him to be arrested too.
Back at the Soul Fortress, Veni and BlackMN prepared some leftovers for Jacob to eat and help recover better. He was growing hungry too and looked at the little girl next to him... He had put Jacob in a heated blanket and after his master ate something, the vampire planned to put the guy in a tub full of warm water.
Sephiroth returned to Abigail or rather she found him and gave him a good one two for leaving her behind or vanishing on her or for some other reason. He let her give it to him because she was right, but he'd probably would have left her there if he had to do it again. He didn't want some sex slave traders to suddenly gain an eye for his precious blue haired nymph. She didn't need that kind of attention, she was still recovering from it from when she was a plain prisoner.
Rosemary on the other hand was tending to Adira in the demoness's room. They had retrieved the girls clothes and Rosemary had just explained showers to her having picked up several items, explaining them, what to do with them, and doing the motions for some. She also explained that in bathing areas was one of the few times being naked was appropriate. She also said that it is very relaxing and was one of the best inventions (besides many medical ones and the telephone, but she doesn't say this part since she doesn't think Adira knows what any of that is) in her opinion.
"Right before you get in the shower though, I want to check your wounds and see how well they're healing. When you're undressed, I'd like to check. Could you please remove any illusions you may have up as well? I'm actually a doctor of sorts, which means it is my job to treat you until you are well. This is actually why I haven't wanted false appearances, but when I decide that you're better enhance your looks all you want."

In the rather simple, familiar room, Adira tasted the emotions floating in and out. Adoration (well...not the word Adira necessarily thought. The demoness really needed to invest in a dictionary, Thesaurus...or maybe the internet in general, not that she had ever used it. She'd heard about it from the mumblings of the devilish imps who made it a life goal to corrupt mankind... but that was a story for another time) from one end of the fortress...care from another...concern...attention. The vampire in front of her was giving off a semi-professional air of medical concern.
Adira snapped back to attention, forcing herself to stop tasting the emotional atmosphere--at times, she couldn't help herself, such as now, when the emotions were still so new.
"...When you're undressed, I'd like to check..." The ivory-skinned beauty was saying. Adira couldn't stop herself from flinching slightly.
A memory creeping up again. --- A cold, metallic room in the middle of Hell. Adira was forced to stand in the center of the space. Her body--devoid of its present imperfections (Scars, bruises, etc.), except for a rope burn across her wrists and a black eye, but both would fade over time--was unclothed. This wasn't the part that unnerved the Succubus. Their eyes stared upon her with a cool, calculating hunger. "Are we sure she's a shape shifter? She looks like the rest of the succubi...you know what will happen if we're wrong." The first said, appraising her with the kindness of a black void. "I guess we're not sure...we're running on rumors and records." Said another male voice, unsure. Another voice, this one female, sighed exasperatedly. "I'm positive she's one." The female replied, stepped into the light and walking swiftly toward Adira. In one second, Adira was thrown against a wall, the woman held something sharp near Adira's heart. "Do a little transformation for us." "Wh-what?" Adira had asked, instinct telling her to play dumb. "Transform. I won't ask again." The voice wasn't angry; on the contrary, it was almost pleasant. It was almost a motherly reprimand, "I don't think you want me to stab you." "I won't die." Adira reminded the demoness. "No. But you will move a level down in Hell. I don't think you want to go down there." The threat was a valid one. Adira didn't want to go into one of the inner rings of Hell--As Dante informed the mortals. It got worse. Adira shuttered slightly, she hung her head. Her skin tone became a dusty brown, her hair platinum blond. The woman sneered, "Not the most beautiful transformation but there you go." Adira shifted back. What would happen? Later that would be answered. Heegh. --
Adira forced herself to be attentive to Rosemary again.
"...I'm a doctor of sorts, which means it is my job to treat you until you are well..."
Oh. That explained things. Adira played wit the fabric one one of the new shirts that rested on the bed. This woman had yet to lead her astray...
Why not trust her?
Against all instinct, Adira nodded slightly. She followed Rosemary to the bathing area, where the vampire explained things once more. Another nod from Adira. She'd suddenly lost her voice. Rosemary left for a moment so Adira could strip in peace.
Adira shifted uneasily. Her body was tense. She tugged the fabrics off of her body, removed her illusions. She felt vulnerable to say the least.

Jacob ate heartily, and it seemed that as he ate, he recovered much faster than he would normally, especially compared to in the past. It seemed that within the hour, he'd easily be walking around on his own normal strength again.
Though Abigail was initially rather upset, she clung to Sephiroth for the rest of the day, and later understood the reasons why when she found out what kind of people had taken Adira and Eztli.
Thas checked on the angels that had been wounded, and made sure that those that had been killed had returned from Heaven. He had then checked on the others, nodding as Rosemary took Adira aside for medical examination.
During this time, Galantros kept hugging Black... he realized just how close SHE could have been kidnapped, so he suddenly felt very protective of her.

Veni gave Jacob's newly grown parts a massage as he watched him eat. "I don't think I've heard of any vampire losing everything bellow the rib cage to the point of it becoming unrecoverable. I know we have a couple easier weak points, but I can't help but wonder if something like that would do us in too... do you know?"
------------
Rosemary was patient and waited for Adira to be ready for her, but she got out a bag with little medical doodads that she had brought with her when she packed up from home. She wondered if Adira would ever be able to control her emotions and all those flashbacks.
Unlike normal doctors, Rosemary didn't need to get close for most of her observations. She had Adira turn around a couple times and move every bendable part to check if she was hindered in her movements. The vampire moved her hair to look at her horns, probed her skull with her fingers looking for any indents, talking this whole time on what she's doing and what it's for, but she mostly stared with those crimson eyes.
"Well you don't appear to have anything broken or strained... though those cuts and bruises that you had should have been gone by now with what I gave you... poison maybe, magical damage? It is Heegh...well poison I can treat, but magic causing wounds not so much... this might help with poison, it does with practically everything here but who knows about certain types. It doesn't hurt to take it anyways." She gave Adira an antidote to take.
What she examined next she was very careful going about it and saved it for last. She wanted to know if she suffered any internal damages still from Heegh's roughness and how bad. She had Adira sit on the toilet and she kept her distance and verbally instructed her on what she was doing. In the end Rosemary gave her a cream to put on after her shower, another healing potion to take, and something to be inserted into certain sore openings at night along with some pads to put on to protect her garments from it.
