Emily laughed. "There are only two things my father and Shawn have in common. The first I already stated. The second is that they are protective of me. Other than that, Shawn is nothing like my father."

Emily smiled. "Yeah. I am pretty lucky." She thought about all of the things she had in her life and continued to smile. Her life was pretty close to perfect, and she knew it.

Emily laughed as Toni threw the stone at her. "Hey! I'm fragile, be careful!" She laughed more and threw a stone back at her. "That's what you get."

"What? I'm not going to even pretend I know what you're talking about!" Emily starter to laugh and didn't think she could stop. It was wierd how happy she could be with everything that had happened lately. It was almost like the stress was making her crazy.

Emily was able to stop laughing and leaned against the side of the cave. "I think I'm going crazy. I have to be." She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. What was taking her father so long?
