[A Just War]

Bob's gaze narrowed at shigeru at his previous statement. It then turned and focused to the ground as a long sigh exhaled, "The boy warned that her memories and emotions were so strong that they could be broken by triggering a past memory...." His hands both raised as he gazed down at them, "A comrade is a comrade, no matter how far they go they will always be one of us" He spoke before looking back up at shigeru an abnormally cold and disappointed look sternly washed over his face. He couldn't believe someone who had recently judged Bob could even say that regardless of whether or not it's emotion was true he couldn't even begin to comprehend what the hell was going through Shigeru's mind and it honestly didn't matter. Bob was for the first time ashamed of one of his own. Bob may not have been the most compassionate or subtle person socially but loyal was one of his strongest traits and it was flaring now as he continued to glare disappointed at Shigeru.

“Would you dare to stand in the way of a Will of Fire?”

Shigeru felt Ayaki's gestures deeply. He looked concerned and worried as he looked away from her. He felt conflict deep inside although it was wrong and foolish. Shigeru then heard Bob begin to speak. He could feel himself divide inside. Two paths that showed no light. Shige saw himself in him. The Will of Fire. Where is mine? That was the way Shigeru used to be until he returned to Snow. Ashamed, he turned away from them both. Each of his fellow Snow shinobi, representing the sides that clashed within. Shigeru closed his eyes and allowed himself to speak. "When, Jae left, I could not accept it." He began. "She was the first friend I had ever had and we had been through dark times together." He opened his eyes and set them on a tree in the distance. "I could not accept her leaving, I could not tolerate it. I swore to return and to bring her back to the village." Shige's eyes narrowed at the memories and his own shame. "This was long ago. It was not until I returned to Yukigakure and saw Ayaki for the first time in a long time that I had finally seen that I had been blind." He then smiled slightly although his voice accented sadly. "She had shown me so much kindness and always been there. Faithful, loyal and by my side. Ayaki never threatened to leave. No, instead I had left her." Shigeru then turned to face Ayaki and Bob although his eyes surrendered on Ayaki. "I could not see through my obsession. You were there for me. Now, I see. By sheltering Jae, Leaf had opened my eyes and given me everything." Shige then looked self conscious, as if what he was saying was ridiculous and not like him to say. "That's you." Shigeru finished. His eyes strong once again, sure and steady on Ayaki.

Keiji gave off a soft sigh. He was about to walk right into the Gates of Hell. Might as well do it with a straight face. He patted his cheeks, then motioned for Jae to follow. "The fields... right. You said you wanted to... spar... with them? They should be out here." He scanned the area until he found the guy that had apparently helped him to the hospital, then bowed. "Sorry for earlier. Donno my own limits yet. Keiji Maede, never did catch yours."

Ayaki Daichi

Stopping in her polishing, Ayaki looked up at Shigeru, her eyes deep as she listened to him "You're the only thing I have, Shigeru." she said simply. But her words carried the same meaning his did when he said that she was his everything. And now a new face appeared once more but one Aya recognized "You are Keiji." she stood, still holding her bow though closer to her body, and stepped up to Shigeru to look at the young Leaf shinobi. She was close to Shigeru, close enough to indicate anything someone might assume, That means... her hands constricted on the bow ...Jae... she thought and took a deep breath, releasing it before leaning back into Shigeru, her shoulder brushing against his chest and arm.

Jae was a little intimidated with just waltzing into a field with Shinobi waiting to spar with them. She had an idea she wanted to pitch to both Kages in regards to whatever this was. At first, Jae had been pulling Keiji along but now she was being dragged along by him. She released her hold on his arm and fell in step beside him. Keiji bee lined straight for the Yuki Shinobi that had aided them. Jae hung back, a little unsure of what to say. She had already thanked the guy. Waving partially at everyone in the clearing, she smiled, trying to appear more friendly than she had before."Yo." She said, her greeting more masculine and casual as could be. Her eyes scanned the area for Shade. She had not seen her since she left to find Keiji. She had really hoped she would still be her. She missed her friend dearly and felt a lot more reassured with her there. Jae could always draw her strength from her friends, the few she had anyway.

And there she was. Ayaki's whole body went stiff as she looked at her old friend "..." it was polite to return a greeting but she found her throat tightening up. Knowing that Jae had chosen to remove all memory of her and Shigeru and Snow...Ayaki turned away and went straight to her bag, back to everyone and began pulling at pockets, doing anything. She managed to regain some control of her throat and respond to the greeting "ello, Jae ni-..." she stopped herself from adding the 'nii-san', an affectionate she'd added after Jae and she had become friends "Hello..."

Jae watched Ayaki and the guy who had helped Keiji out standing side by side. Her chest flared worse than ever, Jae's smile faltering a bit. Maybe she should have gotten checked earlier when she had the chance. Now she was going to have to deal with it. She kept herself composed, something she was very good at and donned her friendly facade. She was still unhappy that her village had been dissed on two accounts without constraint. She had many deplorable things to say about the land of Yukigakure but had followed Keiji's advice to behave herself. Instead of giving in to her childish grudge thing she moved past it, or at least seemed to. Her fox faced smiles were all she could conjure in front of strangers, her real emotions only displayed for those closest to her. "We ended up coming. A spar is just too hard to pass up. " She mused, pitching in her own two sense. Her icy sea green gaze wandered, still searching for Shade. They should have looked for her first before coming here. Jae hounded herself internally for just leaving her behind when she had sought out Keiji. There was nothing she would want to hide from Shade and because of her secretive meeting she still couldn't locate her. Jae's bangs fell in piece around her face as she continued to look around.

Shigeru smiled, complete satisfaction and happiness flowed like waves on a shore. Before his actions could catch up with his emotions, Shige noticed Ayaki look in another direction curiously. At first, Shige felt disappointed in her sudden shift in attention but when he turned around, all was right. Something summoned something out of Shige, almost completely identified in his face. A wide smile stretched at the sight. His eyes cunning and attentive, narrow with focus. The Genin that he had carried to the hospital for Jae had arrived at the field. Jae was there too. The Genin walked over to them. Oddly confident, considering.. He addressed Shige and introduced himself but Shigeru, attentively, only watched Keiji as Ayaki spoke for them both from beside him. To anyone, Shigeru's undivided attention and elated expression would only signify two things: both of them being unpleasant. Jae followed behind Keiji after a moment and greeted them as casually as anyone could. Ayaki knew them both, meaning that they had been toghether when they spoke with Ayaki, something that didn't surprise him. Why should the puppet leave the puppet master? It was then that Shigeru shook away his pensive state and finally spoke. "I agree. This opportunity is much too rare." Shige glanced to Jae before looking back to Keiji. His grin had lessened into a smile that only a man that had recently won a fortune would wear. "Keiji? I am Shigeru Senju of Snow." Shige intently extended his hand for Keji to shake. "I see that you have already met Ayaki.." Shige added, gesturing to Ayaki with a turn of his head although his eyes never separated from the Genin.

I've lost something...

Ayaki Daichi

"We met and met we did." Ayaki confirmed, finally standing back up. Everything was set up accordingly now in her bag and she smiled weakly at Keiji "Hello again." she rubbed her arms and then her fingers went back to her hair, spinning and braiding it until she had 20-30 tiny braids down one side of her face. Then she began braiding all those and from there she took a clip out of her pocket. The clip was silver and shaped like a lily. Taking the braids she pinned it back on one side, taking it all the way around to the back of her neck "Its nice that there is no ramen this time. I don't like ramen." she said softly.

Jae didn't care much for pleasantries. That was Keiji's thing. He was always itching to figure people out and so far it had gotten him into a lot of trouble. She paused, trying to recall what it was that he had dived into that was not for his ears. She couldn't remember and this bugged her. Lately she was getting more and more forgetful. Unconsciously she placed her skinny hand over her heart. Patting it a few times, she looked back to the group, her gaze absent minded. Again. That burning sensation. "I'm going to warm up. " She said, more for Keiji than for the other two. It wasn't like she knew them so her presence or lack there of didn't need explaining to them. She walked further into the field, away from the group. The further she got away from the Yuki Shinobi the better she felt. Taking in a deep breath, she revved in the scents it brought with it. Earth and Pine. Rolling her shoulders she worked out the kinks, her mid section aching somewhat. Her injuries against Hiyato still hadn't healed yet. So long as she didn't end up in the hospital again she was fine. The Nurses there would execute her themselves if she got too careless. At least she had eaten before as well. She did not want a repeat of another IV drip. It was better to just eat normal food. Her icy gaze wandered from the blades of grass before her to the sky above her head. It was very blue today. Perfect. As if it knew today was a sparring day. That's right! Where's the Hokage? She thought, looking down and around them. She scowled. She wanted to ask if they could make things more interesting.

Shigeru watched as Jae began to ready herself for a spar. This motivated Shige to move on. He looked to Ayaki who labored on her hair and smiled. Shigeru touched her arm as if to gesture her to stay. He then moved away from Keiji and Ayaki and towards Jae. She was stretching when he reached her. "Jae?" SHigeru called out with a smile, as if he doubted to know her name. "What do you specialize in?" Shigeru asked, examining her. This, Shigeru truly did not know. It bothered him that he did not know much about her combat skills.

The burning sensation in her chest flared up even before she glanced over her shoulder in the middle of a stretch to look at the Yuki Shinobi. He had called out her name and despite knowing better she had reacted to his voice. The burning was not as bad as before but now she was certain it was related to the Yuki Shinobi. Even though she didn't know what was happening to her she was wary of such reactions and knew that it was her body telling her to give them as much berth as she possibly could. Still, if they were to spar it was not as if she could just run away. Not when it was her chance to defend her villages honor. Especially after the berating it had received from Ayaki earlier. "And why...would I tell you that? " Jae asked in turn, now giving him her full attention. She coaxed an eyebrow, crossing her arm at the same moment. Not many people knew her tricks. Only those who had witnessed her sparring. Hiyato had been the first she had ever used her bloodline on as well. Mainly, she fought with her wind and water elements. It wouldn't be until she had mastered ever single technique that she would declare herself a specialist in anything. Her drive hadn't changed. She wanted to defeated every Ketsueki. That way she could bring her mother honor. Especially after they banished her from the clan and forced her to live in...Jae drew a blank. Unable to recall what came next. Her smooth expression slipped and she looked as if she was struggling with something. Of course, it was only for a single moment. Quickly she regained herself, laughing a little bit. "It's not smart to just tell anyone what you are good at doing. " She added, trying to stir the conversation along to something else.
