The lantern pulls those caught into a type of alternate world, a pocket dimension where illusions can be created by the possesser at will. Within this world there is always a way out, and it must always be accessible, but never does it have to be easy. While within this item, those caught within are drained slowly of their chakra and their emotions.

Curse || »
» The curse is very simple. The user quickly begins to feel heightened emotions while in possession of the lantern, and the more emotion they feel the more dangerous this curse becomes. From the instant the user becomes affected [2 - 3 posts after equipping] they will begin losing chakra and stamina at a rate of fifteen [15] per post, with each post the emotions becoming stronger. When the user runs out of either one, they are sucked into the lantern forever, their character dead.
Known Defeat Method :: Sealed within an iron box padded within with lead. The insides must be labeled with runes of binding and silence while the outside must be inscribed with runes of protection and good luck.

To be honest, im going to need another opinion on this one. I feel like it is too much to have for a weapon, and to have a jutsu associated with it is also kinda...idk. My initial response is to deny, but im seeking advice

Everything above is a single jutsu. The Curse is the downside to the possession of the device. It is basically hellified destructive, as the user is not immune to the effects of the jutsu.

This isnt a bad idea, but i need a little more description about the weapon itself. What do you mean by gain more power? are we talking physics work/time or are we meaning damage or some other form of power?

also, with the new stamina system, your knuckles would be 5 stamina for a PHYSICAL technqiue and 5 chakra for a SPIRITUAL technqiue. A complex technique would cost an additional 5 stamina and 5 chakra.....if this is the route you were actually looking for....

Sorry for the late reply, but after much deliberation this item is Denied. It is not so much a weapon as it is a vague and too powerful genjutsu/ninjutsu mix. It does about 9 seperate things, and seemingly blends the sakkakugan and the sharingan effect styles. This is just too much

I am aware. I'll scold the rest of the guild for it later :3 I have a bone to pick with how Genjutsu is working in this guild.

Carries the same near indestructibility of custom weapons

Can on demand cause inflicted wounds to seal instantly with a thin scar.

Cannot seal existing wounds but only those which the blade itself causes.

Inks, poisons, and antidotes can be loaded into the handle of the scalpel to be inflicted on the wounded/scarred The ink is noncombative and set to a slow drip, but for poison sake vials worth one dose are loaded into the handle and a mechanical injection pin can be fired on impact with a flick of James thumb to inject into a stab or slash.

Description: Long ago lived a man, his name was the Sage of Six paths but this story is not about him. It is about one of his disciples, a bright and strong young man. He followed the sage everywhere he went and they soon gained more disciples. They learned much of the ways of chakra from his teachings. The young man was a model disciple he learned quickly and gained much power. But that wasn't enough for him he wanted to show the Sage that they could become even more powerful. So he began experimenting on live subjects dipping into the dark arts. All in the name of his teacher the Sage. Eventually the Sage caught wind of his experiments and stopped him. He was about to execute him for his crimes against humanity but he decided to simply exile him. The disciple ran he ran so far he just ran he ran all night and day. When he stopped though he was tired he was seething. How could the sage exile him? He just wanted to show how much power they could truly attain! He began to hate the sage of six paths, that rage consumed him and he continued his experiments in a much more secretive manner. After much time his power grew he even began to fiddle with immortality. He knew a bit about seals from what the Sage taught him, he theorized that if he could break his soul and seal a piece of it away into the sword he could manifest himself and live eternally as long as the sword existed. But before he could finish his seals he was attacked by the remaining disciple of the Sage. They had heard about strange going on in the area and came to investigate because it sound like what happened so long ago. They were disgusted at the sight of their former sibling disciple. It was a long battle but eventually he fell under the power of the combined disciples. But right before he died his soul was sucked away into the sword. All his hate, all his rage and his evil went into the sword his very being was sealed away into it. The sword continued to exist as the evil man wanted but he could never manifest himself like he wished. The only thing he could do was channel his power through those that wielded the sword. If they were weak willed he could influence them to do things. The blade now passes through history its real power hidden by the fact that men would be blamed for the atrocities it would influence them to do.

The sword grants the ability to use sage mode through the sword though normal training is still needed to master it. The sword acts as the medium for the user and natural chakra, eliminating the need for him to be standing still. Either way, natural Chakra absorption is limited to an A-ranked amount per each post of activeness, & only usable for Senjutsu. Sennin may carry a Senjutsu Beating Stick & Senjutsu Oil. Chakra physically absorbed from a Sennin will cause the absorber to petrify at the end of their next post after absorbing. One may not have a Curse Seal at all, One may not have a Bijuu at all.

In terms of training, Sennin Moodo training lasts for 10 posts, minimum 5 sentences each for those without a summoning.

In terms of bodily enhancements, the user's eyes turn black with yellow irises & a more toned body. The sword covers the body in a armor which make a second skin of sorts. It's as strong as steel and a good defense against physical attacks & always include a large boost to strength, agility, dexterity, or otherwise appropriate to the specific summon.

Chakra limit for absorption is 1/3 of the main body's active chakra limit. This can be temporarily adjusted by the use of clones, which can perform the senjutsu chakra gathering. Going over the 1/3 limit at any time other than that will start the petrifaction process, irregardless of any future self-balancings. (see 'Senjutsu Oil')

___Awoken Stage [1]
This is the first stage usage of the Sage Arts. This and all stages beyond it are activated / sustained stages. In addition to making use of the state's abilities, the host will also gain a wide array of bodily characteristics, such as eye modifications and skin modifications. Physical strength, speed, stamina, reflexes, and durability dramatically increase. Ninjutsu, Genjutsu,and Sage Arts are unusuable except for bloodline techniques and 5 selected jutsu.((Which can be any combination of Ninjutsu, Genjutsu or Sage arts) Taijutsu, Bukijutsu become more powerful, overpowering other same ranked jutsus but they still retain inferior status to higher ranked jutsus. The user gains the ability to sense chakra around them now, essentially gaining the Sensor Class's abilities while in the Awoken Stage. (Those of the Sensor Class become highly tuned) Because the body's state of Chakra flow is now more freely flowing throughout the host, it will generate one A-ranked amount of chakra per non-moving post. Ending this stage after 5 posts of continual usage entails a penalty of expending all but 100 chakra from the body.
• -Counts as Sage Mode
• -Cannot obtain an animal summon under any circumstance, and animal summons are wary of the evil chakra surrounding the blade and the user.
• -Cannot obtain a Curse Mark
• -Cannot obtain a Bijuu
• +The sword actively absorbs Natural chakra at an A rank per post but stops at the users 1/3 limit. Any extra senjutsu chakra absorbed is instantly dispersed out through the sword.
• +Armor stops ninjutsu C ran and below.
• +Armor stops chakra blades up to c rank, stops non chakra blade up to A rank techniques
• +Armor defends against B rank complex taijutsu and up to A rank simple
• -Once a piece of the armor is broken the rest shatters and falls off and does not reform until the next time the user enter sage mode.


So this is my idea for the moment. Its basically sage mode but a more physically based sage mode.
I feel like sage mode is too focused on Ninjutsu and more mental increases than physical increases. I mean if it makes you stronger could it not increase your stamina at the same time? So I made a more physical based sage mode for my character. I also call copyright on every part of this weapon! So noone can copy my idea XD (Sword that absorbs natural chakra and all. Not Sage mode itself)

Description:
Ancient tales from the Olympia village tell of a weapon that would increase the strength of a user to almost unimaginable heights. While this weapon is not that great weapon, it does possess many of the same kinetic enhancing capabilities that the great weapon of old gave. When wearing the weapon the user gains the ability to crush wind pipes with ease, as well as grab their opponents quickly and with great strength.

The gauntlets also provide the user the ability to throw objects harder and farther. While an object would normally have to be thrown in an arc to reach a distance of 100 yards, the gauntlets allow the wearer to throw an object in a straight line that far and maintain the striking power of a fist thrown at close range. Beyond that however, power drops and the user would have to return to using an arched throw.


Ability Summary:
• Allows user to have increased grip strength enhancing kinetic ability allowing to grab opponents with ease. Allows grabs to happen during same post.

•Allows user to throw objects much further than normal, distance of 100 yards with the power of a heavy fist at close range, any distance after that the power is decreased substantially and has to be thrown as it normally would be.

Weapon Weight: 2 lbs, each for the knives. Chain weights about 25 lbs

Description:
A butcher is always in need of handy hooks is he not? And why should one not use their knowledge of kinetics to extend the reach of himself? The chain is typically wrapped around the user's arms, when used in combat about 3 feet are maintained around his arms to help with control of the weapon when thrown. With the help of chakra, once thrown and hooked into the opponent the user is able to use the chains to pull the opponent to them swiftly. With training the user is able to extend their reach into the chains to use them with blade techniques.

Ability Summary:
• Can be Thrown, whipped, swung, and retracted. When stabs into the enemy, sending chakra, C rank worth, down the chain the user is able to have the blades remain hooked into his opponent and be treated if the opponent has been grabbed. Can even be performed if stuck in armor.

• With proper training the user is able to use the blades as an extension of themselves in techniques with blades by using their knowledge of kinetics.
