Moure (Mouria? Whatever) was one of the later students to arrive. And oh goody, she arrived just in time to see a room filling up with gold. The now ghouly Runner was past the point of "What just happened" and had gone straight into "Do something to survive, right now" mode.

As such, Fem-Moure scrabbled through gold until she could reach a chandelier hanging down, grabbing it and hauling herself up slightly so that she wasn't completely in the gold. Perhaps this hadn't been the best idea. Already from the strain of grappling for the lighting feature, her left arm's seams were feeling a little pulled, and she really hoped they didn't undo, not at a time like this.

Still, she had a good hold on the chandlier. Quickly, she looked around and spotted someone apparently drowning in the gold. She managed to heft herself over one chandelier branch, and then reached out for the drowning boil (Siddie). "Here! I'll try to pull you up!" Moure called down, just managing to grab the other student's arm. Ghouly Moure wasn't really strong, but she wasn't that weak either. She could at least hold someone else up enough so they didn't get swamped.

((Entering; Moure is now a ghoul. His shaggy brown hair has gotten significantly longer, and he's gotten a bit curvier, but besides that he's actually not all that different from usual.))

((On a chandelier, and pulling up Siddie! (Unless someone already did but I'm pretty sure no one has?)))

In the chaos that followed, Lizzy started to walk backwards to try to back away, only to trip over something-

"HEY, WATCH IT."

- Uh, someone, causing him to fall backwards, landing painfully on something that was hard and not very comfortable to land on; to make things worse, as he struggled to get up from the floor, something sharp grazed his upper arm, causing him to wince and quickly withdraw his hand to check the damage; apparently there was a thin line of red where she was cut by a blade of sorts, not that she was overly worried about that.

Not when they had scareling-hunters to worry about.

However, before he could do anything to try to see who exactly she was tripping over, the room had started to change, causing him to panic and grab at the nearest thing - a picture frame hanging off the wall... Right beside a somewhat familiar looking skeletal dragon; too bad this seemed like a bad time to be initiating conversation, especially since Aymet had coins exploding out his - her? - eyes.

What is even-

"Uh. Are you okay?" They were clinging onto some not very secure objects for dear life (and unlife) and there were scareling-hunters about. Everything is okay, really. What a smart question, Lizzy.

Invi wanted to know what this s**t was, patting Cymbeline's arm as he moved to sit with her on what was previously a table. Even as a ghoul he was the center of the universe, really.

Okay, not the universe. Okay, his universe. His beautiful, perfect little universe that he needed to beat into submission. But he took care of his girls...now boys...rather well, crossing his legs as he observed what was going on with somewhat twisted amusement.

If only to entertain Cym, he repeatedly picked up gold coins and sent them flying. She seemed to like that.

Christof gave a panicked yelp, grabbing a hold of the curtains as the tidal wave of gold roared around them.

She hoped you were happy, Jericho. He really did.

Once she knew she had a good hold, she scanned the chaos frantically for any sign of her friends, praying they weren't stuck in the flow...

Otto spotted Eva almost drowning in coins, and what little part of him was good flared up. "EVA!" He called out, grabbing the girl's wrist an hoisting her up onto his table.

Glancing about in a bit of a panic, JD noticed his savior from earlier being quickly swallowed by the room's contents. She grabbed him by the shoulder and had to awkwardly wrap one booted leg over his torso to grapple him to safety.

Of course, now he had his legs wrapped around a strange boil, but at least they weren't drowning okay.

Cass reached out towards the other chandelier where Marcus was, yelling a 'Nooooooooo!' across the way. Dramatic child reach was dramatic and sad.

Savior was so happy to be saved that he kissed his hero on the cheek with his fake lips.

Because they were really just folds of skin where his jaws connected. Huzzah.

Jericho was able to at least hear Calder over the various screams and sounds of metal moving against metal. It looked like she was in trouble and now the dragon was at a bit of a loss. If she reached out to help, it would be helping a fellow student. If not... it was more treasure for herself.

All the treasure... it was speaking to her practically. She could hear its very voice. Well, maybe.

But wait! They needed as many students as they could to fend off the Hunter Menace! But.. the treasure...

Groaning, she just gave in and reached out to take Calder's arm.

Unfortunately for Bul and all of Amityville, she had just saved the one person who had rained some form of death and destruction upon then all, and was probably planning to rain death and destruction upon them all in the forseeable future.

Said kid simply sat next to Bul, without a single word, and occupied his own little corner of the table, thoroughly flustered at his own weapon not listening to him to even begin talking again.

All-in-all Bul was aiding and abetting an unruly dictator wrapped in an deceitful outer appearance.

Bul was a commie.

Mandy had never been more grateful for Barth than now as he felt her claws tug and stop him from being dragged into the vortex. She was still under a heap of gold though and he would never expect Barth to be able to pull him out of this.

So instead he put his new height and muscles to his advantage, latching onto Barth's arm like a lifeline and slowly inching his grip further along until his head burst free of the gold. Gulping madly for air he gave Barth a grateful smile before pulling his other arm from the gold and quickly latching onto the picture frame with her.

...Jack he hoped these things where secure.

"T-Thanks."

SHE WAS SAVED, oh, thank god! And what did Otto get for saving Eva?

A sobbing little girl who had her arms wrapped tightly around the boy's waist, and who was currently soaking through the shoulder of his shirt with her tears.

You're welcome, Otto.

To her credit, though, Eva definitely seemed like she was genuinely thankful for his help. After all, who knew what would have happened if she had gotten dragged all the way down? "Thankyouthankyouthankyou."

After the rough introduction of Lizzy, Aymet was feeling around to make sureher phylactery was still there. Yes, it was, though it felt a lot more like a cutesy girly necklace. Was it shaped like a butterfly now?? He couldn't see much still due to the seemingly endless supply of coins streaming from his skull. The dracolich gave a small nod and a sort of 'ehh' hand gesture but before she could really elaborate, something distracted her.

A clawed arm was extended to the drowning chupacabra: "TAKE MY HAND."

Even Aymet seemed surprised her voice could reach that high of a pitch.

She also was not expecting his own. As butterflies sailed around in his stomach, he sincerely hoped that this boil would eventually turn into a ghoul. And that SHE would turn back into a HE. She didn't know if she could handle being attracted to boys permanently.

But he smelled so nice...
