Nodding rapidly, Mei stuck her spoon back into the cauldron and began to stir. Slowly at first to make sure all the big bugs and chunks o' stuck started to break up. Then just a little bit faster to break up the smaller pieces.

"Its ok Leo. You did your best and that is all that matters!" Mei smiled, giving the other ghoul a pat on the shoulder before stepping over to the cauldron. Leaning forward, she focused her FEAR the best she could. A small, green mist left her lips as she blew a kiss at the base in the cauldron. It wasn't the greatest amount of FEAR but Mei was still learning to control her's as well. "There we go. Not perfect but not completely horrible." She grinned widely before stirring the cauldron again.

Turning to Leo. "Did you want to take this up to Moira or should I?"

Team Punk Bird: Taima and Roch

Taima watched as Roch did his thing with his guitar. "Cool weapon," she said, taking a step back. Her wings flared wide enough that she could flap them slowly. Wisps of fog drifted from her feathers as her wings moved, spreading out slowly until both she and the cauldron were covered in a thin cloud of mist. It dissipated after a moment, some of it lingering in the cauldron before settling into the liquid.

He grinned. "Thanks," he said, letting the guitar dissipate as the work was finished. "I like it. You're a snot, right?" he asked, since there was nothing left to do but chat. "How've you liked Amity so far?" Had she been around for the horsemen things? Like the trance?

"Thanks." She sent a wan smile to Mei when the ghoul patted her shoulder. "Yeah, and it was our first time doing this... I'm sure we did well, all things considered." Right. Nodding along to her own words, Leo straightened up - there was no time to mope about when there were still work to be done. "I'll take it, don't worry."

Carefully grabbing the punch, she made her way up to Moira. "Here you go, miss. All done." Now that she wasn't being soppy, she was actually quite proud of their little achievement.

Their juice... well... West wasn't entirely sure what to make of their juice. It was liquidy, it had bugs in it, and they'd thrown down their FEAR without any ill effects. Mostly. If the gnomelings got a little dissipated from Levi's poison, the demon was sure it would do them more good than harm. He'd done more dissipating this past year and a half than he ever had before coming to this school and he was just fine. Mmm hmm.

"So... juice," he confirmed. "Looks good." His second statement was said with a great deal more confidence than his first, and he nodded at Levi while trying to keep his expression as certain as his words. West scrubbed his palms across his dirty pants then rested his hands on his hips as he stood straighter. "Guess we wait now."

Team Mushroom

Knowing that she was to be partnered with a gnome, Astra was dreading the type of gnome she would be partnered with. But when she saw the female gnome approach, her expression changed to pure delight. She hadn't dealt with female gnomes, but she could see that this one was alot nicer then the boil gnomes. Though she looked a bit stern, she was hopeful this would work out.

"Hello Griselda, my names Astra, and it's a pleasure to meet you." Astra said warmly to the gnome, then pondered over a possible name for their team. "Hmm...How about..Team Mushroom? Yeah!"

Now that they had their team name, it was time to do the most important thing; catch some bugs! Grabbing herself a net, she eyed the area she was in, taking to the air and swooping her net in wide, deliberate arcs. In no time at all, she had collected 3 bugs. A great accomplishment, and she beamed at her success so far.

A grasshopper had jumped into Astra's sight, so she swung her net trying to grab at that too, but instead tripped over her own feet and fell face first on the ground. grimacing, she sat up and wipped the dirt off her face and dress. She'd just have to try again

Her next attempt at bug catching had caught her a beautiful looking butterfly, and she paused to admire the miniature designs on it's wings. It was so delicate...

The fairy then realized that this butterfly was about to be smashed up into bug juice..and she had second thoughts about wanting to let it get smushed. She never hurt butterflies if she could help it...

There was that grasshopper again! Astra made a desperate lunge, but her face met the ground once more.

"Stupid grasshopper.." Astra mumbled, making sure her other bugs had not escaped the net during her fall.

As she looked into the net, watching the trapped butterfly franticly trying to get out, her eyes filled with tears at the sight.

She couldn't bear to smush the butterfly!

"Fly away butterfly, Fly away!" She said, letting the net open so the bug could be set free. She was done one bug, but at least she felt better now

A quick search of the ground provide Astra with two new bugs to fill her net, and she grinned happily. She only had one more bug to go!

Team One And A Half Blondes: Freya & Hel

Because Freya, you couldn’t tell a spatula apart from a serving spoon, that’s why you were bug catching and Hel was making the base. Following everyone outside, the reaper tended to her ice cool cauldron and pushed up her tunic sleeves. Time to get down to work!

The ghoul splashed some rust looking water into her cauldron and grinned. This was why she was in charge of base making.

The best place to find bugs was under rotten wood, so Astra searched around until she found such a place, and lifting up the log she was delighted to see three more bugs, and she quickly scooped them up in her net.

Standing up straight, she checked to make sure the bugs were secure in the net, then walked back to Griselda.

"I've got all the bugs!" She declared to the gnome. "And I got some extras too!" They could make extra bug juice with this, at least she hoped so.

There was something funny about that rusty-water...

Hel gagged and stepped back, fanning her face. She managed to catch her foot, and stumbled back onto the grass. "Ugh...Jack damn..." Hel rubbed her nose and rolled back to her feet, staring down into her cauldron as she plugged her nose.

Did...did she just lose some?
