Zel had no desire to have the blame of all this pinned on him at all. Really, the nerve! Growling, he turned his head to see where Avery was and ran smack into one of the stacks, grunting as he ended up having to slow down in his rush to get out of the library.
This was not off to a good start.

Today was just not his day was it? First he ran into a bookshelf, now he was getting molested by book bats. He was really beginning to doubt his attendance to the library, especially if he got caught. He didn't think he could look Avery in the face if he thought he was bringing banned material into the library.
Oh he'd deny it until the end of time - didn't mean he'd be believed.
He really didn't want to do this... Zel almost felt it was a sin - but at this point, it was him or the book he'd just picked up. A fragile old tome that he'd probably have read himself if he wasn't using it now to try and save his own hide. Tossing it over his shoulder, he tried to sprint to give himself a little bit more headway.

So much for headway. Turning his head, he once again ran hard into one of the stacks, grunting and slowing down again once he was sure he didn't break anything this time.
Did they just design the library to make it inescapable?! Really, he was trying to flee for his honor and his life now! Things did not look too well for the Cornugon as he tried his best to get around the second stack in a row he'd run into while trying to scope out where the other Librarian was.

Managing to find a clear path through all the chaos in the library had been sheer luck. Juking and dodging, he prayed to any and all that could hear him to let him make it to the door.
He didn't know how he'd managed to make it to the door of the library, all he knew was that as he crossed the threshold out onto campus, he wasn't going to stop running until he was safely locked in his dorm.

If there was one thing Hel really hated…it was being blamed for someone else’s ******** up.
Oh, the ghoul was seething once it became apparent that Avery thought it was them with all the porn mags. One thing for sure…once things settled…she was coming back for that Hayden. She certainly didn’t want to clean the jackin’ library though, so it was time to ditch like the rest of her peers!
Booking it (lawl, I kill myself) down an aisle, Hel had no qualms about picking up a book and chucking it behind her to get rid of the librarian.

Throwing that book behind her though, distracted her. Hel let out a foreign curse as she slid on a few scattered books, and let out a louder curse as she crashed into some more books. She quickly looked back, and seemed relieved that once again, the librarian was thrown off. Geeze...would she even be allowed back in after all of this?
She had to wonder.

Hel didn't know what it was about being in the library today, but despite the misfortune of finding someone else's porn mags and almost getting busted...she was pretty lucky.
After that stumble, the ghoul found a clear path from where she was to the door, and she bolted for it. As much as she also would have loved to have helped her friends...no. Those poor bastards were on their own. She was not going to clean the library for a week. NO. Once she busted out the doors, the ghoul didn't stop running until she was back at the reaper dorms.

Okay perhaps this was not the moment to try and explain things but rather the moment to run! She turned quickly on her heel and crashed right into a bookshelf with all the grace of a drunken minipet.
"Ouch!" Sin tried to re-orient herself to get away.
Sin grabbed a book on a stand it looked old, expensive, maybe even priceless. She held it for a moment then looked down at it murmured a soft apology. "Oh Jack forgive me, please don't be irreplaceable..."
She chucked it at the librarian to buy herself some time...and then realized that she ought not to have done it even if it had meant getting caught.
Sin ran she ran because she was now genuinely terrified because she had just thrown a book. Books were not for throwing, her parents would be utterly ashamed by the spectacle she was making of herself. She slowed down and quickly ducked around a few shelves lucky to have found a path. She stopped and took a few deep breaths trying to calm herself. Maybe she ought to just go over and explain things properly.
She turned around to head back and explain but sadly her heel came right down on some books. Sin slipped and flailed grabbing hold of a bookshelf, her nails gouged the old wood a little. She cringed and looked at Avery apologetic.
"Sorry!"
She realized there would be no explaining at the moment and turned to flee the library ashamed of herself. Maybe she'd have to find a new study spot for a while...
Eventually Alex staggered back up to his feet, kicking the books he had tripped over to each side. He got up just in time to see Hayden escape with the goods.
And to see Avery show up. Awesome.
He attempted to sneak away backwards slowly, as though his 6'4" self could somehow get out of their without getting spotted. It wasn't long, however, before everyone else was trying to get away as well, and Alex just wasn't as quick as the rest of them.
Book bats began swooping at him from above, likely irritated by all the noise and bustle going on. "Ack, stop, go away." He waved his arms at them, attempting to shoo them off.
