Blinking back his gaze to Taka, the Daimyou pondered on her use of 'tasty' before she introduced a member of the Hyuuga Clan. Beyond the surname, he was not aware of who Nanami was, and why she was here, of all the time. Perhaps allowing the intrusion would give him more insight to Taka's nature. "For a bit, but I must insist on another cup of this fine tea," Mortos replied with a muted but positive tone. Around him, his guards' vision sharpened on the door.

Nanami blinked as she was greated with a giant fox; whoever was the new hokage, they weren't like Masahiro. When she stepped in to the room, she looked at the man opposite the desk of a woman she didn't quite recognize. Thinking for a few seconds, she remembered she recognized the formal clothing he was wearing, and swore silently under her breath. Nanami straightened herself and walked closer before giving deep and respectful bow to both seniors before her. "I'm sorry about the interruption, Lord Daiymo, Lady Hokage. Were I aware you were here my lord I wouldn't have entered." Straightening herself, Nanami looked towards the blonde sitting in the chair, her grey eyes blank but focused. "I thought I would make you aware of my return, and ask if there's anything you might want me to do before I return to my training."

Kazumi was silent as she stalked through the halls of the Academia. Two years in the wilds of the world had left a lasting mark on her, physically in her movements, and mentally in her ways of thinking. Despite not being a tamer, she thought more like an animal, than a human a lot of the time, though she still had odd moments of 'clarity' where her morals and honor codes seeped in. She came to the open door of the Hokage's 'office' and came up short. There was a fox there, It was huge, at least for a fox, bigger than your average dog, and was a gorgeous red, with nine hypnotic tails. So not a normal fox, perhaps something akin to the Ninetails itself? It didn't matter, it was clearly not a threat, since it allowed indoors, and seemed more than at home where it was, walking through the office as if it owned the place. Kazumi could feel her natural love of all things fluffy coming to the forefront and she took a step into the office, only to freeze when she saw a man in some super fancy robes, the Daimyo. Her breathe caught in her chest, she knew of him, and had seen him in passing once or twice when he passed through; though it was rare he travelled his lands, and her parents had beein in contact once or twice, as the head of the Clan in Konoha. She shook herself and instead tried to ease closer to the fox, she was fluffy, and safer than the man who ruled over the Land of Fire. She kind of hoped that no one would notice her, though with her pale skin and exotic dark hair, almost blue it was so raven in color, and her icy pale eyes, she tended to stand out even when she didn't want to. She saw a girl with white hair, who looked familiar, perhaps from her meeting with the Hokage? And then there was another woman, sitting across from the Daimyo, in the place the Hokage should be, which had Kazumi mentally questioning things. She stayed quiet, but she was wondering what was going on. She finally managed to get a hand in the luxurious fur of the fox as she passed by, and repressed a pleased squeal. Instead, she petted the fox as much as the vixen would allow.

The current kage looked over the two shinobi that entered the room. A pang of guilt for lying to the one and the other was returning from a mission. A small realization that she would have to act more professional popped into her mind and was subsequently held under a pool of water near the old kyubi's cage until the bubbles stopped. Like she didnt have tact.
She poured the Daimyo some more tea while addressing her genin. She started with Nanami. "I would first ask that you forgive my rudeness on our last meet. I tend to be a little bit more...eccentric at times. Some people like it, some merely tolerate it. Obviously I offended you and would like to offer this public apology as a means of starting over between us." She said, setting the tea down before locking her gaze with the other. "Both of you actually. I need you to make sure you are ready at a moments notice. Nanami, prepare for a recon mission. Any training you need you will have access to. Kazumi; after you finish your report I would ask you tell your squad to get some rest while they can. The village will be going on alert as soon as the recon team leaves and will stay that way for some time. Anything you need; ask and it will be delivered. Kazumi, if you could inform Choumei to collect scrub her previous orders and come to the office to be briefed on this upcoming mission. Your squaD returned so there's no need for a retreval mission" She said turning back to the daimyo.
"I will consider your orders top priority and make sure this gets completed" She said with a note of finality to it. She was still unable to sit still despite the amount of things occupying her mind now; too much energy since the kyubi was given to her. She felt him chuckle a little bit inside her.

The elderly Daimyou tilted his head as the young woman entered, concern building up in his eyes. Next, another young, unnamed woman entered the office, causing the concern to mount. "Hm," he vocalized, upon seeing all of the intrusions were well established as 'common'. Drawing his gaze over to the tea being poured, he focused his attention toward the way the tea leaves swirled about just under the surface. A gentle breath across the surface of the tea helped to stem the immense heat, as Taka addressed her shinobi about the recon mission. Soon, the mission into unknown territory would begin.

Kisuke arrived at the Hokage's current office, or at least a Shadow Clone of Kisuke arrived. He walked up to where the Anbu where waiting outside. But as he walked up he stopped as a familiar smell filled his lungs. He was a bit curious as to what the Fire Daimyou was doing here at this time. Most likely it was to meet the new Kage? But usually his father would travel to meet with him and not the other way around. He approached the genin as they nodded at him and inquired about his visit. He recognized the two at the door, they used to be anbu under his father. He held up his mission coupons as they looked over them. "You know genin aren't allowed higher than C rank without permission right." Kisuke smiled and nodded at them as they shook their heads. "Lord Hokage is currently busy with a guest, two others have already entered before you."Kisuke thought about his next words."I know, but why is the Fire Daimyou here?"They twitched slightly at Kisuke perceiving nose."That's none of your business Kisuke."He smiled again as he sat outside the door he would wait until they were finished."Don't tell aunty I'm here until she's finished with the others."Though they didn't take order from him they agreed to it.

Kazumi bit her lip and froze when she was directly addressed, but she nodded and looked at who she could only assume was the new Hokage. She straightened slightly, enough to be considered 'on duty' but not enough to stop petting the Vixen,"Ryoku Sensei did not make it back with Hozuki and myself, though I have faith that he is still alive. Hozuki and myself led the children of the the group, The Coming Storm, here to Konoha, and they are currently being taken care of at the hospital. There was a battle, and Ryoku-Sensei had Hozuki and myself make the children our top priority. We split into two groups, a group of clones, with the real Hozuki and Mizu, and myself and several clones with the children. There were no real injuries, and the real Hozuki and Mizu met up with me, while our clones dealt with a girl named Riley and some kind of.... strange mannequin looking individual. I'm not sure if it was a puppet, or a real person inside strange armor, but our clones never stood a chance, and the girl was seemingly insane, performing twisted experiments on soldiers...." Kazumi hesitated for a moment as her clone's memories played through her mind once more and she shuddered.

Jovian walked through the doors and looked around, the Kages Office was moved here and she was interested in getting a headband and possibly a test of her skills so far. She walked though looking at the volumes of Konoha history only for her eyes to fall onto two genin and the Hokage not far in the distance. It seemed to be a busy time for her, Jovian just stood back and looked at the Hokage. There was something different about her, she had only heard about her skill and had yet to actually seen it... but she was the Madame Kage for a reason. She was just only happy that a 'sister' was able to obtain the grand title. She decided to wait patiently for her turn.

Kisuke was sitting, waiting for the Kage to finish up with the Daimyou. he actually wanted to speak with him. Even for a moment. He nose suddenly picked up a new smell. He was outside the office of the kage, he looked up at the girl who arrived. Looking over her he could tell she was a new genin. Probably freshly graduated due to not having a headband anywhere on her person. Kisuke looked up at the girl"Looking for your headband?" He questioned her as he pet Fangs head softly. The large dog laying next to him enjoying the rest time.

"Great..." She said under her breath. The kids, ok she understood that. Potentially losing another of her ranking operatives was pretty bad. Now apparently there was yet another psychotic child taking people apart. "As daunting as that is you have your orders. This will have to be put on the back burner until we have our situation with the uhv solved. " She paused, as if listening. Nobody would be able to hear it but her fox went silent as well. It was obviously enjoying the scritching. " There are others waiting for you outside the door. One is arguing with your anbu. The other is female and feels like a fresh one. Probably here to get assigned." the voice boomed in her mind, not angry but not realizing its size in relation to herself. She slipped open a drawer and pulled out a headband just in case. The fox in the room sat, happily being pet though at this point, not content to busy itself with other things.

As befitting of a Kage, the office was busy, even with guests in town. Standing with his tea in one hand, Mortos motioned with the other for Taka to ignore his current movements. Eyeing the strapping young shinobi in the office as he made his way to the windows behind her desk, his gaze settled on the picturesque village. Everything within view was funded by the country, and in turn, the village of Konohagakure served to protect its benefactors. Now, a swiftly moving, shapeless enemy threatened to destroy all that was, is, and will be of this precious alliance. We must find the UHV soon, Mortos deCorpo thought, a swig of tea flavors filling his head.
_ There would be a small knock at the door of the Hokage's office. At the other side of the door would stand Yin with her partner, Fenris perched on her shoulder. She would reach up her opposite to Fenris gently petting him as she waited patiently at the door.

Kisuke continued sitting on the floor near the bench in front of the kage's door. The other girl seemed to have not heard him as she never responded. He was alright with that, not like it bothered him. He simply continued to wait for his aunt to be finished. Footsteps could be heard once again after a while of waiting. Kisuke's eyes remained closed as the person walked closer, Fang eyes opened hearing the beating of wings. A fairly low grumble of his stomach could be heard signifying hunger. Fang began to growl lightly toward Kisuke as if asking permission to eat the bird."Stop it." He said firmly to his partner who began to whine as Kisuke placed his hand on Fang's head and began to pet him. He looked over at the girl standing in front of him facing away. No headband in sight once again."You here for your headband to?The Hokage should really get a secretary to hand out those huh?" Fang was eyeing the bird intently yet made not movements. It was like a you can look but you can't touch.

Taka looking away from the daimyo and called out to those waiting by the door. "Come on in. Quit standing around, we got work to do." She said, pretty much to the entire room. She let out a sigh when there was no response to her orders. She understood people didnt really accept her promotion in full yet. Didnt really know how to prove things to them either. However, she would probably ignore the opinion in particular in favor of getting s**t done. She waited for the others to come in, collecting two headbands immediately from her desk in preparation to hand them out.

_ In her singular focus Yin would over look the two who would be waiting at the door; undoubtedly also awaiting there headbands. She would quickly look back as the man as he spoke to his companion; a rather large wolf. The wolf's growl would put Fenris in a bit of an aggressive nature, quickly flapping its wing to hover above Yin's shoulder. "Yes." she would respond quickly to his question. From behind the door Yin would hear a voice instruct them to enter. She would turn her attention back to her original task opening the door and entering, Fenris following closely behind keeping a weary eye on man's companion.
