Tayu swooped down on Kita. "Come on! We gotta get out of here before the whole place comes down on us!" She scooped up Kiri's body, holding it gently as she could, and directed Kita around so the others could jump onto the bird's back.

Swinging at the rocks that were falling around them Kohane was shattering them easily her 2nd gate still open as she fought. "Kikou" Kohane said getting close to him and grabbing his collar. Giving him a strong heave she tossed him up ontop of Kita. "Get going" Kohane yelled swinging and slamming her fist into another rock shattering it before rushing after Kita jumping on the birds back standing and still knocking away any of the rocks that were coming down towards the group.

"You guys go on, I'm gonna find Nowe and the others." Zane called over to them and ran out of the chamber, using Susano-o to break the walls in his way. If I can just keep this thing going just a while longer... Zane trailed off. He was growing more and more tired, but he needed to make sure Nowe, Kyo and Kin were okay. If they were fine and he died, it was okay with him.

Tayu nodded. "Got it. Be careful!" Kita flew out through the narrowing opening.

Kikou tried to keep the the earth ahead of them up also useing it as an exuse not to think of Kiri dieing like that

Nowe watched as the battle continued to unfold, and coudlnt' help but feel a mix of gratitude and regret. Kiri's gonna kick my a** all the way to the sand village He thought, trying to get to his feet.

((Zane: "Leave me alone, why not just hurry up and come back to life or something. -_- ))
Finally Ayame was done charging up, using every last ounce of power he had, and then some, he fired a massive barrage of metal shards at everyone, Nowe, Kin and Kyo. Thanks to all the metal in the area, there was virtually no escape for them.
((And before you guys yell at me for that attack, just know that it is to set up Ayame's impending doom. sweatdrop ))

Exhaling Kyo let his hands move quickly forming handsigns. "Shadow style: Shadow Armor" kyo muttered leaning down as he pressed his hands on the ground his shadow expelling outwards and wrapping himself, Kin, and Nowe in the shadow's there skin darkening as Kyo poured the last bits of his chakra into it. He wasn't able to do much else keeping low to the ground when he did it he hoped one of the other two were able to do something to keep them alive.

Ayame's transformation wore out and the now furious ninja was going to choke Kyo out. He grabbed the boy, rage in his eyes when suddenly he felt a stabbing pain in his chest. He looked down to his a familiar blade before letting go of Kyo and falling over.
"I told you I would be the one to kill you Ayame." Yumi said coldly as she sheathed her sword to help Kyo up. "Are the three of you all right?" she asked simply.

Breathing heavily kyo with all honesty had been more surprised then anything. His jutsu had for the most part at least lessened the blow of the metal attack. Several were stuck deep in his side. He had thought it was all over when ayame grabbed him lifting him off his feet. Closing his eyes waiting for his death the sound of metal cutting thru flesh wasn't a surprise. What was tho was the fact that it wasn't his body being cut into. Opening his eyes to being dropped kyo sat there sweat covering him as he looked up to yumi pulling a blade out of the ninja before helping him up."No I'm to wiped I can barely move let alone stand" kyo commented with an exasperated exhale.

Kin had instinctively pulled her shuriken over her head as a shield when Kyo had pulled her down, but metal shrapnel had still lodged in her legs. She pulled as much as she could out, wincing, and stood shakily as well. "Nice of you to wait so long before cutting in, Yumi," she said sarcastically. She looked down at Ayame's body. "And here I thought I'd feel something when he died, she muttered.

"I apologize, I had only just arrived when Ayame finished his attack. Rather than jump in headfirst, I waited for the appropriate opportunity." Yumi said and bowed before removing the shrapnel from Kin and Kyo. "But we must get out of here, the place is collapsing." Yumi explained just as Zane came barreling through the wall, dropping to his knees as the Susano-o disappeared.
