With his eye on the prize, Dante tracked the quaffle's movements, passing from student to student before one had finally taken possession. Despite the others' attempts at stealing, Arianna deftly weaved through the sky, and when she'd come close enough the Gryffindor aimed for a goal, to which Dante steadily attempted to block.

Before even realizing what had happened, Dante found himself in the opposite ring to where the quaffle had been thrown. "Dio..." He muttered, watching it fly through. "When I fail I fail hard, it seems." He said with a soft chuckle as he flew to retrieve the quaffle. Dante tossed it back to Arianna, a look of determination in his eyes. "I won't let that happen again, I promise!"

Arianna watched pleased with herself as her fake out technique worked perfectly on the inexperienced keeper. "Don't worry about it. You've got to learn somehow." She said waving off his comment. When she had started playing quidditch she was so bad she didn't even make the reserve team her first year. She was surprised when Dante chose to toss the quaffle right back to her. Joel just missed intercepting the large red ball and she couldn't help but think how much he improved again over the summer. Ari began her trek towards the goals.

Aster misjudged her swing and missed the bludger completely; it slammed into her instead. She grabbed her leg with a shriek of pain; she'd never been hit that hard by something in her life, and it hurt. Furious with herself for missing, and the bludger for hitting her, she lashed out with the bat once more.
